I have never seen anyone so rude in my life! I'm not sure if he was the owner or not but when I walked in the Asian man who was working would not acknowledge me. I said excuse me can I please get a priority envelope and he rolled his eyes and gave me a big envelope. I asked if he had a smaller one and he told me to go to the post office. I was totally confused! I didn't have time that's why I was here! He told me to leave his store and was so rude I am still in shock! I will never step foot in again. Terrible! MIKE was rude and impatient , like he had better things to do from the get go . but i really needed a box so i let it go, then he refused to give me a copy of my agreement to the box(one page) and then asked me to leave because i asked for it. he wouldnt even return the form i filled out with my info to me, so i asked him to rip it up at least. seems really shady and illegal. i wonder how much longer they will survive? what a favor he did me because i found this wonderful place on little santa monica with a very nice lady and much cheaper prices. it took me a while to find them on yelp to complain because they are under a different name than bh us mail boxes on here. i hope mike doesnt show up at my house since he has my info considering he is ill in the head read more

I had an unpleasant encounter this morning that mirrors some of the earlier reviews of Beverly Hills Mailboxes Postal Center. I stopped by to mail a package and encountered the same rude Asian man mentioned by earlier reviewers. Throughout the entire exchange he spoke in a sharp, irritated tone and muttered things under his breath. It was a truly offensive experience, and I can't fathom how an alleged business owner can speak to a customer in that manner. They are more expensive than other options nearby, which they could get away with if their customer service weren't deplorable. Take my word for it: skip this place and take your business elsewhere. read more

the only reason I decided to check it out is because I was passing by there,. I arrive and this Asian guy looks down n up me , never asked how he could help. I tell him what I want, a stamp, easy right . he gets it, I ask a question and he responds rudely and laughs. must be that Beverly Hills service . stay away. there is a usps not too far on Doheney and Santa Monica or another on button and maple street. read more

Totally shady. They advertise themselves as both UPS and FedEx drop offs. They will not give any receipt that you have dropped your package off, as ALL other drop off locations do. Your tracking is your receipt with the carriers, but you get no proof that you left your package with them. Highly suspicious! I would avoid at all costs. read more

I've used this mailbox center for almost 9 years since moving to LA since the apartment building I was living at did not accept packages and a friend referred me. I've always been happy with the level of customer service as I've used it for notarizing documents, asked for mail to be forwarded to me when I was working out of state for several months, mailed packages and been given honest recommendations. Expensive, misleading, rude: I asked the owner how much to notarize two documents and he said $20. When he completed the paperwork he said $40. When I told him that was not what he quoted, he said it was $20 "per" document. He then became very snippy and rude, averting any eye contact with me. It was a very unpleasant experience. I have gone to other notaries in this area and they all charged $10 per document. I have also priced renting a mailbox at different places in this area and this place is the most expensive. read more

Best service in town. I've shipped art for the past 8 years. After receiving various pricing and poor quality service, long waits, inexperienced staff, from previous shippers I finally found a diamond in the rough. Never had an issue with anything I've shipped, more than fair pricing- the best I've experienced actually, and quick in and out service. Once you become a regular the whole process takes seconds. So I went here to get some personal work forms notarized and the guy (Asian) that was there was great. I did read the Yelp reviews and noticed some were bad but I really needed to get this done. I waited a few minutes since he was dealing with the postal carrier. He got me in and out quickly once it was my turn. He asked on my way out how I heard of his business and I said Yelp. He asked if I read the bad reviews and I said that I did. He asked why did I still come. I told him that every business has bad reviews. People have good and bad days. I've had four mailboxes in my life, and this is by far the most convenient, most pleasant, and best value of any place I've been before. 24-hour access. The staff, especially Mike, is friendly and helpful. They've even sent my mail to me when I was out of town for an extended time. I highly recommend them! I went in here last week with a 5-year-old on my arm, needing to send a big fax. The gentleman who runs this store not only made a bunch of photocopies (I realized the pages needing to be faxed were 2-sided), but he did it without rolling his eyes and he did the job right. He sent my fax, then asked my daughter if she liked chocolate, and gave her a big handful of mini snickers and each of us a bottle of water. The store was also spotless - the cleanest sort of mail boxes/mailing place I've ever seen. read more

Getting older teaches you to not mind being wrong. In giving a previous great review. I tried to like him and just when I THOUGHT he was cool, he almost ruined my business. Pearls before..... I was WRONG. He is one of those kind of guys that love to insult you just enough to bother you but not enough to be sure what was going on..This guy IS horrible. He told me packages were sent and then later told me "I lied" He really has issues. Wonderful family but not the young immature guy who actually runs it. If I could give this place a negative star rating I would. The guy thinks he is doing you a favor by helping you do his job. He screamed and yelled and practically pushed me out of the door when I tried to drop off a letter to mail. He was offensive for no reason. He told me I am unwanted and to not ever come back again for asking to drop a piece of mail off.. Isn't this supposed to be a mailbox? This place should really be looked into and investigated further, I'm sure the only reason why people come in is because this is the closest mailbox location around for miles. Like everyone else here, I have to say this guy is rude, obnoxious, and combative. I had been going here for years and ignored his behavior, but today he actually opened a package and looked inside without asking permission first, to see if the items were breakable. And when I asked him questions about how best to send stuff or why he put an envelope inside another envelope to send it he became very annoyed. As I was leaving I noticed my letter was still on his counter with not postage on it, and asked about it. He said it just needed a stamp. Usually that is done in front of the paying customer. I finally asked him why he is so rude, and he blew up at me and told me that he was going to give me a refund and to take my packages back. The man is a freak. Very upsetting. If anyone wants to open a postal service store next door to him, you will get all of his business in a heartbeat. read more
