I'm actually surprised by the number of positive reviews, since I've had multiple unsatisfactory experiences here. The business opens at 9 according to the sign on their door and according to Google Maps. Well, nope. I've come at 9:30 more than once to try and send a package, including this morning, and it was still gated and locked up tight. Maybe other people don't care about the time a business says it opens, but as someone who needs to send packages before my workday begins, I'd appreciate a business that actually keeps to it's posted hours. After multiple times experiencing this (and needing to go somewhere else), I won't be returning here. read more

What terrible attitudes they have. As a DHL dropoff point, to not want to represent DHL with great customer service is a miss. I was told they "won't help me"and "can't answer any of my questions" regarding a package I was dropping off. I even brought my own tape to tape it! It is quite disturbing the way the owner and the younger kid treat customers. Not only will they not lift a finger to help you open a door if you are carrying a heavy box but they are extremely rude and condescending. They seem to forget that they are A DROP OFF LOCATION. So yes. People can drop off packages to ship. But they are not happy about it and make it known they don't want your package. The way those men speak to women is absolutely disgusting and they make it known they do not want to help you with literally anything unless you are purchasing tape or a box. The owner is a miserable and angry man and I find him to be incredibly intimidating. Peter was great but unfortunately he no longer is there. Bring your boxes elsewhere like Goodman shipping, UPS, Fedex, truly ANYWHERE ELSE where the staff are incredibly kind, helpful, and respectful to their customers. Postal Center & More has self-sabotaged their business with the ways in which they operate. The recent reviews say it all. This place was so rude. I rushed there to get a package out and got there 10 mins before closing and the door was locked. The person inside looked at me and made an "X" with his arms. I showed him my package was already labeled - literally just had to drop it off - and he shook his head no and looked away. I drove down to Mailboxes and Things at Santa Monica and Croft, got there a few minutes before 6, and they gladly opened their doors and took my package. I've been using Postal Center and More for my business mailbox for almost 3 years and I have nothing but great things to say! Peter is wonderful and always a pleasure to chat with when I come in. I get notified via email when I have packages to pick up, which is a wonderful benefit too. I always feel respected, heard and valued as a customer. Staff is extremely rude. I came in to drop off a pre-paid return and after I got there, I noticed that there was a small hole on my envelope. All I did was if it was okay for me to have a small piece of tape to cover the hole. They could've just said "No, sorry". But instead they said with a horrible attitude, "I CAN COVER IT BUT WE CHARGE FOR THAT, YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO YOUR WORK FOR YOU". My package was ready, if I knew this is what I would have to hear just for a small piece of tape for a package that was otherwise COMPLETELY labeled and sealed, I would've much rather just sent the package with the hole. Convenient, professional, available and fun! Peter the owner is a happy, hilarious guy who always has a smile on his face. For something as mundane as mail (or notary services), why not get it from someone who can also make you laugh! Plus, it helped a LOT that Peter was available- all the other notaries I called either had short windows of availability or were never there! This place is amazing. Peter and his crew always go way out of their way to make sure we have the proper postage and help with boxes and call us when there is mail waiting for us. They always offer us water and know us by first name and greet us as we come in. I have even checked my mail on a Saturday late and Peter is there to help and always so nice to us. Since I walk there I don't park but there is a lot right there and plenty of street parking. read more

The first experience I had here was rather positive so I decided to go back for future needs. It's one thing to have to wait in line because the person in front of you has a bunch of packages, it's quite another to have to wait in line because the guy behind the counter is too busy flirting with the woman with a bunch of packages to make any effort to hurry through the process or even acknowledge me with a polite "I'll be right with you". He was literally just taking to her about her family, not putting postage on packages, not weighing items. Just chit-chatting like I wasn't there. Since flirting was more important than customer service, I left and went somewhere else. read more

These guys are just down the street from my place. I used their fax services and shipping services. They run a very efficient and reasonable pricing. Usually no long lines and they are very knowledgeable and will help find the cheapest options if that is what you are looking for...which is what I always look for so it's great! read more

SCAMMY, RUDE, SCARY place. Came to buy a box and wrap my package and possibly ship from there as well. I told the guy what I need he said he'll wrap it for me, I told him twice that I'm gonna do it myself but he kept insisting. He was moving super slow, I had only 15min gap to run this errand and get some stuff from the store next door. Wile he was slowly moving and wrapping I stepped out to take work call, then he was asking where and why I'm sending my Old Mac and IPhone, super weird, mumbling about how ppl move to this neighborhood from OC specially for him/to use he's "services" super weird again. After that he quoted me 50$+ for 2 boxes and some bubble wrap and LABOR that I didn't ask for for and never was told that I'm gonna be charged! After I refuse to ship with them he told me to get the F*** out of there wile still having my money for he's labor he just SCAMMED from me. He was also upset that I stepped out twice and wasn't watching him wrapping a box and telling how amazing he's job is I guess. If I'm stepping out I don't know owe any explanation to anyone, specially not to the person who's scamming me on the spot. I'm literally scared that this guy has my name and home address. I called the sheriffs department right after I left. I felt violated in so many different ways. Will report this place to the business administration on Monday as well. read more

I went in on12/03/2020 around 3:45 to drop off my UPS package before the last pick up which said was at 4:00. I seen the lady behind the counter was helping a customer already, so I walked in and politely ask "excuse me, quick question. My package is already sealed and has the return label can I just leave it with you or would I need to wait?" The lady look at the customer and tells her "excuse me" but rolls her eyes like she was annoyed with me for asking a simple question. I was so pissed because she was so rude about it, I just asked a simple question that required a simple answer. I do not understand her reasoning for rolling her eyes, it's not like they were in the middle of a conversation, she was looking at the computer. It's bad enough we're going through this pandemic and I'm always being super nice to any worker that is helping me but she was so nasty and disgusting. I will never go back there again. read more

I have been coming here for years and the service is always great! All staff are helpful, knowledgeable, respectful and always professional. In recent days, they have been deluged with an extra high demand of services needed and have done everything humanly possible to meet those needs. Throughout, they have continued to be courteous and patient, even in the face of rude behavior from some customers who I am guessing are taking their feelings of anxiety out on them. The staff here are providing an important service and should be treated with kindness as they put themselves at risk even working right now. Came here twice, both times only reinforced what all the 1-star reviews say, this may be the worst business in West Hollywood. 1st time: I bought postage for a flat rate box I had. The lady was absolutely rude, made a face at me and charged me an additional $5 fee on top of the postage. Fine whatever. 2nd time: This place is a designated UPS drop off site... I went to drop off a box and she refused. She said she didn't want the "liability" of holding my box because I didn't buy the postage from her. I didn't have the option because it was a free return shipping label. I was actually gonna purchase some more boxes at the time but just left because of her rudeness. If I could give this place zero stars I would. I used the UPS website to find a UPS Authorized Shipping Outlet to drop off a package I needed to return. The label was pre-paid since it was a return. This facility's name and address came up and is only a few blocks from my apartment. So I walk in to drop my box off and the rude woman behind the counter said she will not accept my package b/c of the pre-paid label. WTF? What kind of authorized shipping outlet is this that doesn't accept packages that are being shipped via UPS? Are they not a postal center that is a designated UPS drop spot? And she was so rude too. 10 stars!!! What a nice place to mail ANYTHING. I had my goldendoodle Clovis with me on this errand, and the staff provided us with water! He actually found a bowl and served my dog and handed me a bottle of water. He ensured my packages were sent speedily and inexpensively and immeditaely sent tracking details to my email address! In addition, he addressed each label to each recipient as "World's Greatest Aunt" and "World's Greatest Sister" -- clearly extending above and beyond ANY experience I've had shipping items in the history of my existence. The roller coaster at Postal Center has come to a stop. For 6 years, I've been a customer, and might have been one of the few people under 60 who didn't take the previous owner's outrage and venom personally (thanks therapy!). She had failing health, was in constant pain, and experienced an onslaught of personal tragedies. That being said, no one should walk on eggshells to get their mail - from a box they pay for - or be charged for an inch of tape, or yelled at for leaving town and having too many Amazon boxes (4) pile up. Also, that poor bird! Did it live there? I never saw it, so maybe it was just a recording of a bird? The Past = The Past, and the new management is THE BEST!! If you left, give PCM another chance. I have tried several times to come here and bring my business, but it seems like they always come up with a way to turn me away. The younger man who works there is always giving me attitude as to why he doesn't want to take or send my packages... the only reason I keep giving them another shot is because they are close to my house. Today, it was pouring rain and I walked down here to ship a package. They were inside but decided they were going to lock their doors and not take anyone in. I am trying to explain that I just need to drop off a package. He shakes his finger at me and let's me stay in the rain. Obviously I am irritated and he can see that. He comes over to the door and I think he is going to finally help me out. He then opens the door and says "Hey man that isn't necessary." Still doesn't take my package or offer to help or anything. I never write bad reviews, but every single time I go in here I leave feeling worthless. I went across the street as I always do to the West Hollywood Mail Service as I always do after being turned down by this place and he treated me great, took my package, smiled and we shared a joke. I will no longer even try to come here even if it is more convenient. It's sad. read more
