My daughter Adina got a warning light for some smog control system and paid this business over $1,000 to fix it. I went to pick it up for her... and still saw the red light! Beverly La Brea Auto Body, and Gary and his team, were incredible from the start. I came in due to undercarriage damage from hitting the side of a curb. I brought it to two mechanics before finding Beverly La Brea Auto Body. The first company stated that the damage was $3,500 but that "we will charge you only half of your insurance deductible as a holiday special." (Their plan was obviously to charge my insurance company an exorbitant amount thereby hiking up my monthly insurance payments). The second company wouldn't look at my car unless I gave him $100 to "remove the bumper to have a closer look." However, Gary and his team were the complete opposite: From the moment I came in, they were honest about the cost of the damage (below $300) and immediately fixed the dislodged pipe. Without any questions asked, I immediately received a quote, in writing, and was told that my car would be ready by the next day and that they were ordering the new part immediately. The costumer service was exceptional. Here I am, sitting in my fixed car, within the next day as promised, and I already sent them one of my family members today. This is the 4th car they have repaired and repainted for me over the past many years. The first car was a bit embarrassing being only a week old Porsche that was fixed and repainted to perfection. I'm looking for my cell phone in my way too large D&G tote and start thinking, shit, did I freaking leave my cell phone all the way in San Gabriel?! It gets to the windy part of Sunset, I duck and make another look for the phone, the car veers a bit and BAM I effed this parked car from behind. Luckily it was a parked rental car. Luckily, I am still alive (and looking as good as ever) and luckily, the tow service that this very nice gentleman had called for me (in addition to the police) worked with a body shop that paid for the tow services for you AND they were covered by my insurance... This was 5 weeks ago. I was told that it was going to be 3 weeks and when I heard that my mouth dropped. Insurance blah blah blah...my poor v-dub (that's VW for those of you who don't know). I had returned my rental car two weeks ago because the Enterprise that the shop referred me to had really crappy basic rentals and I would rather go public transportation on the west side and meet all the old crazy folks on my way to work...(review of Enterprise coming soon). Last I heard about the car, it was seen somewhere off Beverly & La Brea, hopefully he'll come home soon. One plus though - Ahmad said it was looking good and they washed it for me and everything! MIRACLE WORKER. Mike is it. I laced my brand new Audi on my garage one morning. I panicked envisioning thousands of dollars of damage on a car that was a month old. I went in and Mike gave me the straight deal. I had two options; one costing X and the other costing 8X. He advised me to do X, see how it went, and if I wasn't happy I could bring it back with a credit towards 8X. X was INCREDIBLE work, done in less than an hour with a ride home for me. I had to come and tell you guys how the lease return went...so the lease appraiser guy comes and he is inspecting the car over and over. He was on his hands and knees and gave it not the once over but like the quadruple over. I'm $hitting a brick thinking I'm going to owe a ton. He even removed the rubber for the door panels! So he goes there was body and paint work done over here wasn't there? And I just look at him. He musta seen me turn green because he told me not to worry I wouldn't be charged for it but he had to not any repair work. So I said yeah a tree had fallen on it a year ago so a big chunk of the car had been repaired. He did another once over and couldn't even TELL that I had ANY work done on the right side which was where Beverly La Brea had just done their magic! That's how good of a job they did with the blending and everything! So I really can't say enough good things about them! Excellent work! Being a customer for 6 years, I finally decided to put a review for this place. I never had a problem with the quality and/or cost of the work. Mike is honest and knowledgeable about his work. Ok, now if you want to save your time and money to shop around Los Angele to find the best price to fix your car, just take your car to this place. Mike always gives you the best option first and alternate options later. Just accept his best option and then save money and time. Four instead of five star from me is just because they do not return your call and I think that is the only thing they need to improve on. Parking is also a problem but you cannot expect better from LA. Let them know in advance, and they park your car. Recommendation: If your drop your car for a 1-2 hr job, go to Fish Grill cross the street and have a five star grilled fish for lunch or Brunch.
