They were literally so rude and you can tell it felt like we were bothering them just for asking questions about their services. They charged me $85 for a brake inspection, which is normally free at most shops and told me my brakes needed replacing when in fact they didn't because I got a second and third opinion. They also tried to charge me an astronomical amount for cleaning my brake pads which the other shops said was unnecessary. They then quoted me an astronomical amount of money for all of their services. I went to the other shop and literally paid $700 less than what theis shop quoted me. I've been going to this shop for over 20 years and they have never ceased to impress me with their professionalism, fairness, efficiency, and effectiveness. They have always gone above and beyond to communicate upfront about price estimates and even advising against doing ALL the possible work that COULD be done - i.e. sensitive to our personal cash flow and also giving us the option of holding off on fixing some things we could "live with" or "see if it persists or gets worse." These guys are my trusted advisors and I recommend them highly for everything from engine issues to tire repair to body work (I have done all there). I hate to have to do this as a business owner myself, but right is right and wrong is wrong... My Fiance was a long-time loyal customer/neighbor to One Stop for many years, but I started figuring out she was being taken advantage of at different businesses. When she would go to a major oil change company, she would fall for their tricks... so when we were in a not-at-fault accident recently, I decided to deal with the insurance/repair shop. Long story short: I was in a hurry when I picked up the car, since I had errands to run for my business, so when I had a moment, I realized they did a HORRIBLE job on the side of the front bumper. It wasn't repaired, just painted over. That same day I brought the car back and was told, "That's weird, I will figure out why that was!" As I was leaving, Brad said, "I'll tell Geico the customer thinks it's part of the accident and he wants it done, and see what she says!" I took a mental note of how he worded that, because you would have to be a complete moron imho to not KNOW that is where the contact with the other car started, and it ran all the way down the side of the car, so OF COURSE it's from the same accident, smh. We left the car over the weekend (while paying for a rental out of pocket!), expecting this to be quickly resolved. I received a call from Brad, I believe, saying, "I talked to insurance and they said it wasn't covered." So I called insurance, and was told, "It WAS covered, they should have taken care of it." She said she would contact them, then get back to me. Since it was a Friday, I wasn't expecting much until Monday. Monday comes around and I get a call from One Stop basically saying, "She's saying it's not covered, did you talk to her?" So what ended up happening was, One Stop FAILED to go to bat for us, when it was OBVIOUSLY part of the same accident, 1000%. The original estimate was $1.1k or so, and they submitted a supplemental which brought it to around $3.3k+. The amount of work they did, even IF they actually did what they were supposed to do, was highway robbery imo. BUT, given the current economic conditions, overhead, etc. I can somewhat see it. But to repair paint transfer on front/rear passenger doors, replace right mirror assembly, and repair the plastic transfer from the other cars mirror... that much money w/NOT completing the job is insanity. So to end this, I'm not forced to try and repair it myself, or pay out of pocket for a TRUSTWORTHY company to do the job right. Geico dropped the ball almost as much as One Stop, imho. We both went in there and explained, "you HAD to know this was from that accident, since there's scientific evidence. Throw in a little common sense and integrity, and it should have been repaired!" We gave them an ultimatum: Make this right, like you know you should, or we're going to take our business elsewhere, file a complaint with the BBB, Attorney General, reviews, etc. They chose the option that has me leaving this review, unfortunately. As a fellow business owner, I completely disagree w/how they handled this. In this situation, I would have hopefully taken care of it from the start, went to bat for us w/insurance company, or repaired it myself, "on the house!" Imho, you should avoid this place unless you take my experience and stay on your toes w/them. FYI: I can't find them on BBB, so going to have to hit up the Attorney General (which if you live in CA, you know the government here not our friend!) Here comes the nasty reply from the Brad, as seen in the other negative reviews, lol. SO telling. read more

I drove to work parked my car and when leaving for lunch unfortunately my car battery was dead. I was able to jump start my car but I wanted to get a professionals opinion. I drove around calling a few places, so many were busy and couldn't take me for a few days but these guys said come on in it would be quick to diagnosis. They did their thing, used some machine, I'm not sure what it was but they came to the conclusion that my car needed a new battery. They explained to me the difference between the battery and the alternator and gave me a very fair price for the battery and installation. Totaled after taxed around $185 and only took 30 minutes. These gentleman were very helpful, laid it all down and never once did I feel they were taking advantage of me or my lack of knowledge in cars.
