This was my first time at this salon and I have to admit, less than impressed. The decor was nice and Christy, the woman assisting me, was nice but that's where the good things end. The amount I spent vs the quality of service I received was disappointing to say the least. It took me two hours just to get a classic mani and pedi, and it wasn't because there was a wait but rather because Christy kept walking away and because they forgot I wanted a mani. To make matters more annoying, due to people not paying attention my toes and my nails got smudged and had to get fixed. For $50 on a basic mani pedi, I would expect much more. Save some money and get better quality stuff somewhere else. Update: It is less than 24 hours later and one of my nails is already chipped. I work a desk job and was at home watching tv all night. I was pleased with my deluxe pedicure and shellac/gel manicure. I'm almost at the 2 week mark and both have lasted well and look nice. I was a walk in and was able to get both done at the same time in under an hour which was really convenient. I feel like they are a bit pricey though, thus the 4 star review. My services were about $75 plus tip (39 for pedicure, and I believe 35 for shellac manicure). Today I called to inquire about a polish change sans manicure and it was $26- $29 (for shellac). They charge $5 for the polish removal but a manicure is only a few dollars more. read more

I think they kind of forgot to put a waiting area with chairs for people who finish picking their polish to sit and wait before being moved to a mani or pedi chair if they aren't moved as soon as possible. I came in for a deluxe pedi with my friend and it was great, the only downside was margaritas were only limited to 1 glass and they were weak as fuhhh! I had Cici do my pedi and she did a great job, just wish she wouldn't rush to catch up to what step my friend was on and would massage a little harder because it was like she was just rubbing the lotion in. 3 toes were a little crooked too but nothing I couldn't fix at home. I really irritates new when I order something specific and get charged for it....then it doesn't happen. My mother, dad, and I went in to get spa pedicures and they had specific instructions on what to do with my dad.....that didn't happen. We all got charged $35 each for the spa pedicure and each had completely different things done. Then the manager tried to argue with me about how they did everything they were supposed to despite the fact that I've been there MULTIPLE times and know how hat I should have payed for. If you go here.... don't go between 5 pm and 7 pm. They usher you in and out like an assembly line and don't care whether they have you what you paid for or not. read more

This was my first time here. This place was and still is busy but I had no problem getting a chair and someone started on me. The ladies performing the services do not look to be in a rush to get to the next customer. They all seem to take the time necessary to make the client happy. I observe people probably more then normal. My mother and sister in law tried this place first so I thought I'd give it a shot. There's a reason they have a 24 hour guarantee on their services! The mani pedi o got lasted less than 24 hours before it chipped/smudged (on a gel manicure). The manicurists were rude and the supposedly new utensils they used in "sealed packaging" had obviously been used before. I went in last week for a manicure and requested that they add tips to two of my shorter nails so that they would all be the same length. Multiple ladies came up to me asking why I wanted to do that, "we can file them all down to the same length", "are you sure you want them that long?", etc. You would have thought I'd asked for the most complicated manicure ever. Then, for the entirety of my manicure, 5-6 ladies stood around me and watched while laughing and speaking Vietnamese. It was extremely uncomfortable and not relaxing at all. For the two nails they added tips to, the lady did an awful acrylic dip job. They're both extremely lumpy and one is completely lifted from my real nail. The nail polish isn't even covering parts of the edges. Overall, an awful experience and I won't be back. read more

So glad I discovered them! I have never had nails last as long as they have before going to this place! I've had my almond nails with shellac for 3 weeks now and the only reason I'm going back in to get them fixed is because they are just grown out too much but the nail itself still looks perfect and like I JUST got them done. Don't even get me started on their pedicures! Even their cheapest pedicure is amazing compared to the most expensive pedicures anywhere else. Just go, you won't be disappointed. I treated myself to a fill, pedicure and waxing and spent over a hundred dollars. I got my nails and toes done at the same time and the lady cici was to busy gossiping the WHOLE TIME to even care about my pedicure. I left with hopes of just trying someone new the next time I would visit just to have my nail break not even 24 hours later! Went back and the man who helped me had to redo the whole set cause clearly they were not going to last if they wouldn't even last a night of just sleeping, I then ended up tipping once again to him because I felt bad for all the work he had to redo an hour later. My friend and I thought we would give Beverly Nails a try. We normally go to Austin Pro Nails. We both asked for the classic pedicure. The chairs and foot baths were very nice and impressive. Colored lights in the water and large selection of polish. A man did my pedicure and he was okay but tried to charge is an extra $5 for callous scrub. Other salons do not charge extra. My heels were not scrubbed well and one of my big toe toenails was cut crooked. Not overly happy with pedi or man that did it. Next we went to have our nails filled and that experience was worse than pedi. A different man "Jason" tried to charge me $35 for fill with ONLY pink powder, I do not get white tips. He then changed price to $25. My salon does this for $22. He was very rude, burned and hurt all my fingers while sanding down my nails. He was not even going to trim down my nails until I asked to. Also, I asked for medium pink with a little hot pink and he applied medium pink only. He rushed my nails and was rough and rude. Will not be going back to this salon. Dao is the absolute best! She listens to exactly what you want, gives the best pedicures I have ever had and does an amazing (painless) job at threading. I cannot say enough good things about her and Beverly Salon. Annie is my first choice for SnS manicures. They last forever and she is a perfectionist! Overall, it is wonderful to come here after a long day and sit in one of the many massage chairs, sip a glass (or 2) of complimentary cold wine and be pampered. Unfortunately after being back a few times since my first experience, Beverley has been very disappointing. With their higher prices and nicely furnished interior, you would have higher expectations. I returned a few times after my first visit to very rushed and busy experiences where my SNS dip powdered nails did not stay together up to 2 weeks. The last straw was when I came in for a SNS manicure and pedicure. As I was getting my pedicure, I asked for a French tip manicure with SNS powder and said I wanted to keep my nail short. I was then told that I could not have French dip short and I had to pick a color. After some debate I decided to just get a pink because the man refused to give me the tip I wanted. (I learned later at a different nail salon that it is possible to have French tip keeping your nails short because the different salon did a beautiful job). Not only was I upset about having to choose a different color, but while he was painting my nails he proceeded to cough on me multiple times. He was not wearing a mask and did not cover his mouth and I could feel his air hit my hand. Like I said, last straw. They will no longer be receiving my business. read more

Visited the salon for the first time today with my mother (a long-time customer) and daughter and could not have been more pleased. My mother and daughter had appointments but they took me as a walk in and they could not have been more accommodating. My mother got a polish change on her toes and a manicure and my daughter and I both had the salon pedicure and SNS nails. All of the results were lovely. But what I really love is the attention they took with my 77 year old mother. Most of the technicians stopped to say hello to her and ask how she was and I could tell they make her feel welcome and happy to be there which means a lot to me. As a result of our visit today, I've already recommended them to four friends and will continue to do so. It's quite a drive for my daughter and I (past many other salons) but we'll be regular customers from now on. read more

Please stay away!! It's a pretty place to the eye but the skill and professionalism is the worst. I have at least three fingers nails, at the cuticle, with swelling and pus from the technician hitting my cuticle with drill. The pedicure was painful and I actually yelped in pain several times. I am so stupid for not getting up and walking out! If I could give place less than one star I would. Thinking about filling a complaint with the Texas Board of Licensing. read more

Im really happy with my services here. I usually get gel but decided to try the powder nail technique. I was told it would last as long as gel and it cost $40 so I was really disappointed when it started chipping away literally the day after I got it done. However, when I told them, they fixed it right away without question and redid my nails with a new gel color I wanted. The manager + ladies are very nice and I was happy they were quick to fixing their mistake without hassling me or charging me. Took my daughter and a friend to get SNS Nails put on. Definitely not a great experience. She has had several sets of SNS nails put on over the last few years so I generally know what to expect. Besides the fact that the entire experience, from start to finish, lasted less than 30min, her nails are different lengths, uneven, and very thin. On top of this, the technician made at least 5 of her cuticles bleed. And the cherry on top? As one of her cuticles was bleeding, she drags the blood across the nail and puts a top coat over...so now she has a streak of blood under her top coat. Definitely won't be returning. read more

Beverly opened last summer next to the new HEB and Alamo Drafthouse. I checked it out during their grand opening special of 20% off and was pretty impressed. I've been 4 different times now, so thought I'd finally write a review. It is definitely not your typical "chop shop" in the décor department. They put in some serious bucks in the buildout- it has that kind of over the top wannabe ornate Italian look to it - not my style, but better than the typical peach walls and cheesey posters of acrylic nails. I really like the nail bar - it's a long, granite table with comfy chairs. The pedicure chairs (there are like 16 of them) are really close together, but are comfy. This place actually looks exactly like the nail shop in the Domain - I assume it is the same owners. They have a huge polish selection and a decent shellac selection. I've been a few times and had one great tech, one really bad tech, and two okay techs. One of them was way more interested in the tv show that was on than in doing my pedi, but one of them gave me one of the best arm massages I've ever had, while another practically ripped my nails off removing my shellac. In fact, she actually was using her own finger nails to pry it off, which kind of grossed me out... I also had one that was talking about some personal issues that I didn't really think was appropriate (I am not a talker when I get my nails done and didn't want to talk that day, much less about her problems). That said, most of the staff has been really friendly and cheerful and about half speak perfect English while the other half really try :) They are a little more expensive then some places, but they seem very clean and the first time I went the tech told me about how they sanitize and don't reuse files and buffers, so I would rather pay a few bucks more and not get a fungus. I got my brows waxed here once and won't be doing it again. I did notice the table was really comfortable, but that didn't make up for the sub par wax job. I wish they did not do acrylics. That smell just kills me and ruins the whole relaxing experience that I like to have at a nail salon. Overall - they are my choice for a last minute, unplanned mani or pedi - but not where I would go if I was planning ahead. read more

Today was my 3rd appt at this nail salon. The 1st two appointments went fairly well although they seemed a bit disorganized. I called earlier this week to make appt and I stated I wanted a full set pink and white acrylic/solar. The lady I spoke with on the phone was trying to convince me to get gel instead. I had to repeat myself twice that I wanted acrylic. Finally I had to ask her "Can you do acrylic or not?". She finally said that they'll have someone who can do acrylic at 12:30pm. So I scheduled the appt. I arrive to my appt and stated I have a 12:30 appt for a full set pink and white acrylic. I guess it was the manager or owner that said they were a bit behind and if I could give them 10-15 minutes. I said sure. 15 minutes pass by and I get up and informed the manager that I will just call back and make another appt. She said the girl that was going to do my nails is almost done. So I go ahead and wait. They sit me down at the station and the nail tech comes over. I make sure I reiterate that I want acrylic. Then the manager/owner says "She only knows how to do SNS, is that ok?" !!!! I'm like seriously?? I started to tell the manager that when I made the appt I specified that I wanted acrylic but she interrupted me and started making an excuse. I walked out. read more

I came at the perfect time, it was their grand opening and everything was 20% off, so my basic manicure and pedicure was only 35 dollars. WHAT A STEAL! Everything was so clean and organized. All the OPI nail polishes were in one section, so if you're an OPI person like myself, they have all the selections and organized by colors. The mini massages they give felt good. They had everything in bags so you knew you were getting new, clean, and sterilized tools. Basically everything was awesome, I would definitely come back. I went here for a long time and had a great experience. Friendly staff, except for one very abrupt young man that I tried to avoid, and what appeared to be a very clean environment. I got the gel manicure and had no complaints. I decided to get them removed and just get a regular manicure because my nails began to cause me some discomfort. I wasn't told during my manicure there was any problem with my nails. Within the week, my nails continued to become more sensitive so I took the polish off and looked at my nails and saw what that my nails did NOT look healthy at all. I went in to the doctor and sure enough, I had a fungus on every single fingernail. Fungus doesn't happen in a week. Apparently, the techs had been doing my nails every two weeks and not saying a word to me about any problems. (In my defense, I always was with a friend. We were talking and I was never paying attention so that's why I never actually looked at my nails. . Lesson learned.) Now I am taking prescribed medication for at least 6 weeks for a fingernail fungus. This is still one of the. cleanest place I've seen but, in retrospect, I haven't noticed anyone actually taking any nail tools OUT of the autoclaves in a long while. I haven't seen the tools taken out of plastic bags either. The techs simply have walked up to me with them in their hands. read more
