They have a wide range of different alcohols, and they also serve the blue buzzballs there first before most places. The prices are decent, and the staff is very friendly. I don't normally return alcohol--this was my first time ever--but after spending thousands on a party order through the app, I ended up with way too many handles. Tried to return the extras and was told, *"We don't take returns if you had a party."* Excuse me... what else do you think people buy booze for, yoga class? Then they pulled a crumpled receipt out of the trash like it was the Dead Sea Scrolls. After all that, I realized Costco has better prices, better service, and doesn't shame you for celebrating. Came here 10 mins right b4 store closing and the Staffs here is always really friendly and knowledgeable where their product is at. Called b4 coming to this location to make sure they had the cognac I was looking for in stock. The alcohol selection is huge and perfectly displayed nicely. Store is really clean. I objected then he showed me a sign saying that it's required. What kind of load of crap is that? The customer service ehh.. the clerk who rang me up for the items seemed to be slightly annoyed for some reason, and wasn't even completely finished with my transaction before he was trying to assist the next couple with mini alcohol shots they have at the counter. Asked for my ID out of the wallet and his tone made me want to ask him if he was having a rough day. Like my guy, please finish the transaction ahead of you. The clothes are solid place to pick up local beverages and definitely have way more than your local grocery store. However with a Total Wine not far from here in Brea, you realize how limited their selection really is. I wish their apps function better, but after they started downsizing stores things haven't really been the same. What's nice about this location is this fairly easy to get to, you have to get off imperial and cycle around if you're headed south bound. Store itself is always clean, well-maintained and people have been friendly when I have been in. They were doing a tasting today for different tequilas inside. I do like that they have sort of a picnic area where you can grab cheeses and other snacks. Definitely worth checking in and seeing if they have some of your favorites for a great deal their wine specials are pretty well known and worth getting. read more

Very clean, organized store with beers I couldn't find at other locations. They have a section called "New Beers" so naturally I checked it out. Good selection of local and summer beers, which was perfect for this hot California weather. Golden Road, Kona, Karl Strauss and Maui was on my shopping list for today and I got what I wanted. A very clean and organized location. Prices are okay but if you take advantage of their five cent wine deals (buy one bottle of wine and get the second for five cents on select labels) it can be a blessing to your wallet. I purchased a few bottles of wine on my visit here. Selection is decent but somewhat limited for some varieties. I also purchased some beer and felt the prices were really no better than the grocery store although there were many to choose from. Staff were friendly. Of the various stores I've visited of this chain I'd rate this as one of the better ones. read more

Great area and great plaza. But when I went on Saturday 11/11/22 Around 3pm-3:20pm I had a rude worker help me out. He was white, dark brown beard and without work uniform. And shorts. Asked him if he worked here and he assumed I knew. He's like what do you expect man I'm the only one around here'. I was super pissed off but kept it cool. The other lady who was there was nice. But the guy who helped me was mad/ bothered and rude. He should not be there at all. My family friends just moved to Anaheim hills. And to Have someone with that attitude was unacceptable. New location where the Foxfire French restaurant used to be, off the 91 freeway Imperial Highway exit. Near Mother's Market, Starbucks Coffee, ZPizza, and Board and Brew. Ample parking and clear aisle ways make this location nicer to shop than some other Bevmo locations we have shopped before. We called ahead looking for Snoqualmie Riesling which is delicious paired with Italian food such as pasta as well as with homemade fruit and cheese boards but is somewhat difficult to find locally as it is from Washington. We had previously driven all the way to El Segundo to purchase this wine so we were delighted to find three bottles here and hope to buy more from this location. Even better was the 5 cent wine sale of which we had heard before but not ever availed ourselves of before. For certain wines in the store, you purchase one bottle full price and receive the second bottle of the same wine at 5 cents. What a good draw! As long as we were here, we also browsed the entirety of the rest of the store and were delighted to find some fun holiday selections such as Sierra Nevada Celebration which we had sampled while on a tour of the Sierra Nevada brewery in California earlier this year on our drive home from Olympic National Park. It's a nice festive brew that pairs well with spiced desserts such as pfeffernusse and gingerbread cookies. We also found our favorite Prairie Organic Cucumber Vodka which pairs well with basil, cucumber, and white cranberry juice for a nice holiday mixed drink (or really any time of year). We decided to also try one of their ciders that contains grapefruit since this sounded refreshing. Overall a very clean store. The service could have been friendlier as we felt we were trying to cheer up the people working there but they were probably stressed due to the holiday bustle. This is always if I can my go to for my.. particular tastes. I am not really a drinker, and I am very picky. So I am always very happy to come here. It is not a huge store but I am always surprised on the number of varieties of alcohol wine included. There is also other supplies, cups, wine openers etc. The only downside is sometimes it takes then a while to get the stuff that is locked up. I once had to wait for someone for 10 minutes. I imagine Bevmo as the adult equivalent to a kid at a candy store. One step inside and I don't even know where to begin. Do I start with the wine selection? Do I walk my boyfriend down the IPA aisle? Do I dare venture through the mini liquor bottle row? Or even get some new barware? You can never go wrong. Join Club Bev! Trust me, it'll save you so much money. And yes, Bevmo will have much lower rates than your local grocery store so come check them out. On a good day you'll find me filling up my cart with higher end liquors, but since I always try to squeeze the most money out of my dollars I generally gravitate towards the generic brand too. Can't go wrong if the drinks look and taste (slightly) the same. My absolute favorite part here are the mini liquor bottles. Cmon, just look at how cute and tiny they are!!! On a recent visit, I was both shocked and sad to see that their mini bottle of absinthe was $12.99 for 150 proof... I flew all the way to France to get mine for 12€ and it was only 110 proof!! Folks, bevmo does NOT mess around. I highly recommend you purchase some pour spouts before leaving. They're usually priced at $8 for a 12-pack but I got mine for $3.79! What. A. Steal. Their order online/curbside pick up worked out well for us. We knew what we wanted, ordered and paid online. We showed up a couple hours later when they said it would be ready and showed our ID. They rolled out a cart with all of our booze and we were good to go. You can't go in the store and they're not loading into your trunk like some places but it was a good experience and we'll do it again for liquor. Super disappointing. I came here to buy eagle rare bourbon and asked to price match at total wine. I had the price and availability on my phone and guy refused to look at it. Had to look it up himself on the store iPad. After a few seconds he proceeds to tell me that he checked the Brea and Irvine locations are all out and that he can't honor the price.
