These guys are great super chill, friendly, and always stocked up. They've got the best BuzzBallz selection in town, hands down. Every flavor, every time. Mr. K's is a great place to shop for all you craft beer fans! This shop is active on social media (Instagram), where they post updates on some of the latest stock. Sometimes they'll sell out fast on hard-to-find brews. You may also find some hidden craft beer gems on the shelf or cold box. Once you visit, you'll be spending some time browsing the vast selection. It's a small, unassuming liquor store with many of the usual items as a corner liquor store, but the depth in variety in both beers and spirits is worth the 20min drive I have to make. I believe I just found my new favorite liquor store that just so happens to carry hard-to-find craft beers from micro breweries which is what I'm into right now. I actually found this place thanks to Untappd, if you're a craft beer connoisseur you know wtf I'm talking about but I digress, this place is the real deal when you're looking for that special release craft beer that you thought you to had bust a mission to buy at the actual brewery but turns out these guys just might have it. The two guys that run this joint are down-to-earth, helpful, and will even make recommendations. What really stood out to me about this place is that they allow you to purchase single cans instead of being compelled to get the entire four pack of pints or whatever. Price-wise I can't really speak on since it's my first time buying here but at around $6.50 per pint(can) of some really good shit I'm not complaining. If you ever make a visit to The Bruery which is only few hundred feet away from this joint, do yourself a favor and make a pit stop here, your snobby craft-beer-loving-ass won't regret it. read more

I stopped in here looking for some refreshments for my drive home after making a pickup at a local brewery. I was surprised at the selection and variety of beers they have in stock. It is one of the better selections I have seen in some time. I saw some cans from some breweries I have never heard of before. Not sure, but I did see some broken 4 packs, if they allow single can sales. Sometimes, I rather buy a single can than a four pack when trying a new beer. I have swung into this liqour store a number of times, mainly just for the great deal on the Monster energy drinks (2x 16oz cans for $3), but today I saw a review about the craft beers and went and check it out. Man he does have a great selection here and decent prices on it all. I spent some time talking with the owner/manager (not sure which, and I had some extra time, so why not) I have met him a couple of times and has always been friendly. He told me its only really recently, like say last two years or so they started carrying better beer as the Bruery behind it has started to blow up in status. He even said at one point he had to tell the Bruery to pull their stock early on because people came in looking for cheep beer and wanted to pay $2-3 bucks for a great micro-brew! So now he has the cheep, swing in beer pong stuff on the right and all of the good micro-brews on the left. If you are looking for some great local brews and some really good imports, here is the place. This will now forever be my go to spot. Amazing. read more

He gets stuff others stores cannot because of the time he puts into his business and the relationships that he establishes. There's only really one reason to come here - If you want to get fucked up. No, seriously. They may not have anything remotely close to a good beer selection - if you're into craft beer, but they do have the turf covered when you want your case of bud and some hard liquor. In fact, looking at the wall of glass with distilled spirits inside of them, it's easy to say that this place offers and has everything you could possibly need in a liquor search. The prices are also relatively comparable to stuff like BevMo. The fact that it's right next to the 57 freeway also means that you can go in for a quick restock of the supplies and have the escape option of the freeway right there, not more than 50 feet away. It's also right next to the Bruery's tasting room. Which does give you the ability to enjoy some real beer before you come here for some cheap 12 pack of bad beer - or some hard and stiff liquor. read more

We were on a trip down to So Cal and decided to kick back in the room and take it easy for the evening. I looked up some local liquor stores and this one was only a few blocks from our place. So I got over there right as they were closing. Decent selection and the prices were about what I expected. The clerk did try his best to persuade me into buying a bottle of Jim Beam. I really wasn't into it and I don't think he was catching my drift. They close kinda early, so get over there before you realize you need more booze. If you need help they're always ready to tell you what's new and selling fast. Huge difference from other spots that hide/hoard the new and rare stuff.
