This is a bigger and nicer BevMo than most that I'm familiar with. The selection is huge and the staff is helpful. Only ding was that cashier service was a bit slow. The Club Card takes a minute to sign up for but gave me some instant benefits, not unlike the Safeway card. Ample parking, clean and cool store with wide aisles. The array of beverages and beverage-related paraphernalia is pretty astounding here. I'm impressed by the variety of wine and will definitely come back to stock up. read more

I've had a few good experiences at this Bevmo, and one not so good. The bf and I are into cream soda so we bought a six pack (I forgot which brand) and we got home and every bottle was totally rotten and disgusting. Like, as in, green mold growing inside the bottles. Ew. I went back and they were totally cool about allowing me to grab another one but it was still pretty gross. The workers aren't super helpful but the store is pretty easy to navigate so thats not a problem. read more

They have SUCH a wide variety of alcoholic drinks as well as non-alcoholic ones, along with stemware and other random items. Their 5 cent wine sale is always nice and they always have the beer that's in season. The people are helpful and know exactly where everything is, if you ask they'll take you right to the right spot and even give you tips one drinks that mix well with other things! read more

This BevMo is a tad small by liquor superstore standards. Basically, it is like the other BevMos you have been to, only each section is missing about 20% of the stock it should have. The place is nice, clean, blah, blah, but when it comes down to it, I expect my BevMo to be a SUPERstore. This is more of a large liquor store. They have a decent selection, but I had a difficult time finding a few things in particular price ranges. I'll go back, but if I have the option to hit a larger BevMo, I'll probably head there. read more

Great selection at this place... but the staff here is bipolar. Not literally- what I mean to say is that there are staff that are very friendly and responsible and there are also staff that are grumpy, irritable & twitty. It's really a crap shoot who you're going to get. Hey, if you're just swinging in to pick something up, it's a great place. However, if you make an online order with them... don't expect anything. I ordered several cases of wines for a large event. When I went to pick them up later that day, they kept me half an hour waiting only to find that they had actually sold my wines (they had never even put them aside, even though I had made the order that morning). I tried it one more time a few days later with some other vintages online... and the same thing happened. Except this time the guy had the nerve to act annoyed that I was there again. Wait... why AM I here again? BECAUSE YOU GAVE AWAY MY WINE! Trader Joe's saved the day. We ended up buying multiple reds/whites of different brands there. In fact... their wine turned out to be much cheaper than Bevmo's, even the brands that Bevmo carried. I suggest that if anyone is planning on ordering 100+ bottles of wine that they hit up every TJ's in the neighborhood. Hey... it'll actually be cheaper in the end! read more

Came in store about 12 pm walk around for about 20 min. No one ask me if I needed help and the store was empty.

What could possibly be bad about a place that has almost all kinds of alcohol that you could possibly want? This store is clean, well organized, and filled with great staff members. I usually come here for a keg. A large keg of Coors light is around $112 plus the cleaning fee for the keg and tap (a little pricey just to clean them if you ask me). There is also a deposit on the keg and the tap and tub if you decide to get it. The staff is always friendly and ready to help you bring the keg out to your car. My guy even helped seat belt my keg in to prevent any rolling and possible spillage :). You have 2 days to return it too so you don't have to rush over drunk just to return it. read more

I love the BevMo! here...customer service is always attentive and friendly... The store is spacious, clean, and well-organized...it just makes things more convenient that way :) Wines in one section, beer in another, and vodka in another haha...I don't have to spend much time going in circles in the store trying to look for what I need... They also sell snacks and a good variety of cigars...I don't know squat about cigars, but when I asked for help, the employee that helped me was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the selections...he even made suggestions on what cigars to get according to my budget and what kind of taste my friend had in cigars. We come to this BevMo every once in a while and look for something original. They always seem to have alcohol that is unique. We last purchased a Bosshog Whistle Pig and my husband was ecstatic since he collects. Anyways, we noticed they carry some good stuff and original. The staff is also very helpful and willing to take the time and help and explain. Don't find that at too many BevMo's unfortunately. read more

BevMo is such a black-out waiting to happen. It's a store of perpetual indulgence... all the freaking time. It's like the grown-up candy store and I before Pride had to indulge here before our train ride up to the city. A few mini-bottles for booze-on-the-go efforts and a big bottle of Svedka we were on our way. But after getting home from this weekend let me tell UV Vodka in the mini-bottle is cancerous and worth only the 99 cents we paid for the bottles. read more

I was buying wine for a wedding and had been in and out of this BevMo for a few weeks buying multiple cases of wine & beer. During one of the trips I had failed to put in my BevMo card and was charged full price for the wines. I didn't realize this until a few weeks later when I was reconciling my credit card and of course, I NO longer had the receipt. I went in and explained the situation to Mark, who unfortunately was unable to help at the time. Mark recommended I come back a few days later when someone else was there who could help. I went in, Mark and (I assume) one of the managers, and was refunded the difference almost immediately. Not many store fronts would have went the extra mile to help me out, seeing as I had no receipt. my humble thanks! read more

I was looking for a very specific rum and the employee was super friendly in assisting me in finding it, where it was supposed to be. Found it. I dropped by this past weekend to get my parents a few bottles of red wine and I had no clue what I was looking for. I approached one of the staff members and asked them to show me their popular red wines. I had to stop him and tell him that I couldn't understand him when he started to ask me all this wine gibberish. He laughed and escorted me towards the red wines that were part of their promotion--buy one bottle of wine and get the second one for five cents! How can anyone pass up on such a great deal! He showed me a gold medal red wine and silver medal red wine. I got two of each. Winning a gold and silver medal should mean that they are pretty good right? I don't know, beats me! The good thing is that my parents liked them both. I'll definitely come to this BevMo! again! The staff was so friendly and helpful here. I especially like their awesome deals too! read more

I really fought myself on the stars here... I was coming in thinking 3 then I suddenly moved to 4. First of all, much of what I say applies to all BevMos. In terms of BevMo to BevMo comparison this is really not the nicest on on the planet so I am gonna round down to 3 stars. Its okay if you need to get some booze to celebrate the new porsche you bought next door, but I certainly would not drive past another BevMo to get here. Its small and there is not much right next to it (outside of the porsche place) so it is not convenient for a multipurpose stop. There is a Cost Plus accross the street I suppose. In terms of BevMo, 5 stars for the beers. No doubt. They finally brought the Irish Smithwicks to me here in the US and for that alone I will always be in debt. But in general, the large large variety of micro-brew and foreign beers here is the main reason I go often. On top of that they have a good selection of hard alcohols and some off brand mixers that you dont see in most safeways. Add the lil cigar selection, the caviar (have you ever noticed they have a nice selction of caviar?) and the occasional chip, chocolate or if push really comes to shove, cheese - and you have for a really conventient/good place to fulfill your foody pampering needs... But here is where I am gonna downgrade them - the wine. I know people go on about their 5 cent wine sales and deals... But the last time they did the 5 cent wine sale I noticed that the base price of a couple of the wines that I knew was a bit higher then I would expect so the sale was not what it seemed - and come on why does it have to be 2 of the same bottles. Add to this, they do have a lot of wines, but I am not that big on their help to select a wine. The people there are never that useful outside of directing you to te cabernets. Wilford Wong is no Robert Parker - he has lead me to some funny wines. I think th main point of wine at BevMo is the wine deal... the 7 dollar bottle. For me wine is an investment and it is more important to me that I get something tasty/good for a little more then drinkable at 6 buck. read more

Great selection of booze. Usually the place I go to when I need some weird booze or need a keg for a party. They're fairly priced, though I find Costco cheaper for most booze. The people are awesomely knowledgeable about booze and seem happy to work there (who wouldn't be?!) If you're picky about your beers or your scotches, this is the place to go. I'm not too sure about their wine selection, some great wines but a lot of duds. I wouldn't get things based off their recommendations -- but that's just me. Of course the selection of snacks, wine, liquor, beer, etc. etc. are unbeatable however customer service needs to improve. when we press the button to have someone unlock the liquor cabinet for us, sometimes it takes over 20 mins to wait. also they usually just have one cashier working (even on weekends) I've noticed that some employees are kind of snarky and sarcastic, which is fun in doses but it's been kind of prevalent each time I go:) I can handle a little snark but I see that it's off-putting to some customers. also some are a bit lazy---I kept cases of water and soda in my cart so cashier could scan them--but he told me to take out the cases of soda and put them on the register...uh ok? read more

I wish we had a BevMo back east... though I guess my wallet and waistline would be smaller and bigger, respectively, if there were. Not that their prices are bad (especially as a Club Bev member), but they run those 1 cent sales so often that I would probably be buying pairs of wines left and right, day and night. So, yeah, probably not a good thing. The prices aren't, say, Costco-level, but if you don't have a membership there, and even if you do (but don't want to trek all the way there and/or it's already closed), BevMo is the place to go for your wine, spirits, and beers. They've got high end scotches, they've got Barefoot wines, and everything in between. They carry a truly impressive array of liquors. The only thing they don't have--and something I've been searching for for months--is Jam Jar wine. Oh, well, you can't win' em all. But you CAN score two bottles of wine for the price of one (+ a penny) here... you're welcome. read more

Employees can't tell you where things are as they don't know! I'm a club bev member and get frequent emails with specials. I thought employees would know what specials there are for members.........! Big selection of everything, including sake, which is a pleasant surprise. It does seem like they have more items on sale more than in previous years and that made us not only buy what we needed, but bought gifts that we probably wouldn't have done at the spur of the moment. (made easier when it's some really good stuff AND on sale!). The parking is just as easy and the selection is just mammoth on so much... that it is a dangerous place to shop... and i like J-M's idea of getting some nice high end quencher here and paying the corkage fee at a Santana Row restaurant. You're definitely ahead of the game... that's one of the key things I wish we'd learn from Australia. A huge percentage of people bring wine to restaurants... some even bring six packs! Gotta love it! I admit it's closer to Santana Row which is good for BevMo, but I do miss the ability to check out Porsches next door (that was fun). read more

I enjoy walking around BevMo and looking at everything. I love that they carry Gluten Free beer (Omission is the best) and that they are very helpful. There usually isn't a long line and I have never run into a person there who is rude which is odd. I have been to a few other Bevmo's and people were quite snarky in the line. Some of their products are priced a little higher than the store but I like to think of it as a specialty store so it doesn't much bother me. I hate their parking lot - but I feel that this is the best one that I have been in. read more

I'm pretty sure this BevMo doesn't care about customer service. I came in for a nice bottle of whiskey as a gift for my husbands birthday. I didn't know exactly which bottle I wanted to get him, I just knew I wanted to get him a nice one. Tell me why I asked a lady staff to assist me and all she did was point me to the glass to where the whisky was and carried on to what she was doing. I stood there for 30 minutes before I could get help with getting the bottle. I ended up leaving with a $150 bottle of Macallan edition 2 and he was happy, but i was def turned off with the lack of assistance. read more

I'm not sure what Kevin N is talking about, but this BevMo is quite possibly the largest I've seen. (and I've been to pretty much every other BevMo in the south bay). In fact when I walked in, I thought "Damn this BevMo is HUGE" The stock is aplenty, it is indeed the "Target of Liquor Stores". this location moved from Kiely down to the Winchester intersection and I actually like it a lot better now - much easier to park. Much nicer layout - no constantly bumping into people with a handbasket full of liquor trying to balance it all. Fantastic store overall. Can't wait for another 5 cent wine sale. read more

MFH is a beer whore, one who likes fancy beers but will not hesitate to drink a corona. If it's beer, he'll drink it. Because I care, I want him to be happy while keepin' it classy. Ahh, Bev Mo. Your bright red lettering and squeaky clean new store ambiance drew me inside (not to mention your buy one wine, get a second for 5 cents sale). I wandered past your overpriced candy, nuts, and chips in search of my favorite beers. The tally: --Moose Drool (yeeesss!) --Wyder's Pear Cider (hell yeeessss!) --random sodas and flavored waters (nice to know they carry them) I emerged empty handed, if only because I had walked there and didn't want to step back into work with a half-downed bottle of Wyder's and a trickle of satisfied drool down my face. I like the size of this store and I find the service to be incredibly helpful when selecting wine. They are not too pushy, but seem to come at the right time. Some days they have free tastings and that's pretty neat. They are pricier than other places, but you can't beat the 5 cent a bottle deal when they have them! read more

This is the only BevMo in that I know that can get in my favorite beer, Who you Callin' Wussie Pilsner. Every time I call they have it stock and put a few six packs aside for me. All the employees are awesome and I've never had a bad experience here. I'm set on my beer for a few more weeks, I bet when the time comes around, they'll have my beer back in stock. i just can't understand this. i asked for 4 empty boxes (given, i was not buying anything) and i was treated like i was a beggar asking for a cash handout. this is just rude and bad public relations. it was so ridiculous and upsetting. if a business has a thing that they throw away regularly, it only goes to serve the business and the environment to give them away; this serves to increase goodwill all around. they have mountains of unused boxes and i'm sure they crush others multiple times a week. i know they use them for paying customers, but only a fraction of them. i had to push the employees to give me 4 boxes, out of dozens they have stacked up. it makes me never want to go back to this store again. read more

Giving this place 5 stars because of the customer service. Most Bevmos close at 9pm. I came here around 9:02pm, and the girl was nice enough to let me in and buy a Bottle of Crown. The alcohol here is definitely cheap, but the customer service will keep me going here, thanks again guys. read more
