This BevMo is my "go to" in WeHo. I stock most of my parties from this particular BevMo bc the basics are always in stock and there is a very large variety of snacks too. The staff is always very helpful and courteous. My last two visits I assisted by Hector. For some reason this location also gets a lot of vendors giving away free shots, so if you like free shots this a great location to be your "go to" as well. read more

I had been to this store many times in the past. This place is an adult Disneyland with all kinds of liquors, wines, champagnes and spirits. They have a subterranean garage with a ticketless system that is "state of the art". When I walked in there was only one person at a checkout station. This was Hector, he greeted and welcomed me warmly. As i perused the isles, I was taken aback at how empty it looked. One of the people actually asked me if I had any questions to which I explained that I had ordered a case of Pinot Grigio and was picking it up. He referred me to Hector behind the counter who would set me up. I loved browsing this place it is so immaculately curated that I wanted to wander and get lost in the logistics of it all! I picked up a few bottles of Prosecco and got a shopping cart that had a long silver pole jetting from it. When I checked out and the case of wine was brought to the checkout, I assumed someone would help me out to my car, it's then I realized that pole on the cart was a deterrent to leaving though the front door. Hector said the only other person was working on internet and phone orders and that he couldn't leave the register. I decided to purchase the wine bags in order to try to transport them myself to my car. It was an impossible cause. Finally Chris the manager( stepped away from the online orders) came out and helped me carry the bottles to my car. I was very grateful! All this to say REALLY? You have hundreds of thousands of dollars of inventory and are afraid of a shopping cart being pinched? GoPuft had acquired BevMo so someone there should somehow streamline customer service. I often order BevMo deliveries, but went to this location in person for last minute items for a large event. I was asked by my son-in-law to pick up a number of rather obscure brands of beer that I could not find elsewhere. Danny knew each beer immediately and helped me locate them. He also helped with all of the heavy lifting and met me at the load dock to transfer everything to my car. The checkout guy was also very kind - I believe his name is Hector -and did a great job helping Danny with my huge order. read more

I had an outstanding experience as a customer at BevMo, thanks to Chris, the assistant manager. I was ordering beverages for a party I was hosting, and Chris made the entire process easy, stress-free, and honestly enjoyable. He took the time to walk me through all the different keg brands, sizes, and options, and made excellent recommendations based on my party size and what would work best for a crawfish boil. His product knowledge was impressive, and he even helped me figure out exactly how much ice I'd need, along with the right tubs and accessories. Everything was executed perfectly.... the tubs that were delivered were brand new, delivery was right on time, and every detail was handled professionally. What really stood out was how much Chris genuinely cared that everything went smoothly. He went above and beyond to make sure my party setup was right and that I had everything I needed. I used to love coming here, but the customer service has really declined. I walked in to no greeting, while employees are standing at the register talking. I passed several others as I was headed towards back end of store to find more employees chatting it up and passing customers to take beverages together into the break room next to the refrigerator. I had a consistently terrible experience at this location and had to post both on google and yelp. The full review with updates is on Google. Been to the store yesterday twice as a pick up driver. No improvement, if anything it only gotten worse: the new employees don't seem to be willing to stay, the old ones - are still not friendly and unresponsive. As a pick up driver I had to wait for over 10 minutes for an order with one (1!) bottle of whiskey in a heat outside because they won't open the door, but will ask you to only ring the doorbell once (they will yell at you if you do it more than once lol), even if they don't react on it. It took 10(!!) minutes for a person to finally come out and he told me the order wasn't ready yet and slammed the door in my face. One would expect that the employee of BevMo would come back and follow up with me regarding my order status during the heat wave. Especially since they are the ones that told me to wait. But, unfortunately, no one ever did. I waited for a response from any employee for another 10 minutes and then I ran the doorbell again, until someone else came to answer the door. And I noticed that my order has just been seating there the entire time, ready. It was probably even done when I first got there, they just didn't bother to check, which happens often at this location. The second time I came the same day, I had to cancel the order. On top of non existent, hostile and even aggressive customer service, they have an issue with the building management. There is a parking lot that was designated for drivers in the back of the store (there are signed on the door that say pick up / delivery drivers, and that this is the only place to pick up from, not the front of the store), but when I got there at 8 pm, the security guard tells me to turn around and that I can't park there (even tho I could see another 10 vehicles parked there, and those weren't gopuft cars, but regular delivery drivers) and that I have to go into the parking structure and then take stairs, and go through a dump to get to there pick up door. Mind you, they have no dolly, no cart, nothing that would make it easier. You guys need to get it together Also for those who order their stuff for delivery from this location, be ready for enormously long delivery times and don't get offended if your order gets cancelled by multiple drivers. This store, its horrible customer service and inconsistent parking policies and lack of proper management are the reason for it. I'd put 0 star if I could. As a customer it makes me very disappointed, the store is very conveniently located for me and I've been coming here for 3 years. These situations and more before made me feel disrespected, belittled, I don't feel welcome coming there as a driver and as a customer. This place has become ridiculous, I am a human being and no one deserves to be treated like that. read more

Big, spacious and helpful... The BevMo of WeHo is a must go! The BevMologist aka BevMo crew is some of the most knowledgeable in various departments for your specific needs. While we could not track down a specific brand of Bloody Mary Mix known as Major Peter's w/ Tapatio we did manage to find some new ones to try and various things. Due to the Scotch Whisky) shortage for various factors including the the battle overseas (many Scotch Whisky producers source their barley from Ukraine) there were a few go to items I didn't see on the shelf in the darker delicious spirits section. BevMo does a great job filling in space where it can and now that most, if not all locations are carrying a few grocer and everyday items as well it's kind of a one stop shop depending on what you Beverages & More needs are. Grab some craft beer, frozen pizza, ice cream and a new toothbrush as well as toothpaste for after. Or take advantage of the forever 5 cent deals (buy one get on for a nickel) along with some school supplies, board games or frozen veggies in the freezer... Definitely living up to the & More name. The parking for BevMo West Hollywood is shared with neighboring businesses like Target, but also street parking while metered (free on Sundays) is a super easy find and a nice short stroll. The person who rang us up also offered to assist us on the floor and was one of the best clerks I've had here. Sorry for a negative update... But the experience & quality of this store seems to have declined further :(( After my last couple of unpleasant visits, I decided to give this store another try, -- and stopped by to purchase a couple of items. But alas, this was probably my last visit. VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE. In addition to the issues mentioned previously, there were now additional problems. For starters, some isles were cluttered with empty boxes, and other stuff... (does anybody even care? What if someone stumbles, trips, and falls due to your mess & clutter?) -- The attached photos clearly depict the mess! On top of that, they now have a new totalitarian rule -- of requiring *everyone* to present an I.D., regardless of age. Seriously ?!... When a person is in his/her middle-age or senior age... I am curious - why are they still required to show an ID? -- The store is yet to provide reasonable answer. (Sorry, a response like "A 70 year-old man can look like he is 18" is not quite reasonable!!). Also, please realize: excessive & unnecessary capturing and entering of personal ID information into your system -- is a serious violation of consumer privacy... Sorry, but I've had enough with this degraded store! Unless they plan to change their absurd and excessive "I.D. Policies", and improve the in-store environment (along with other issues described in the earlier review), it is highly unlikely that I would return to BevMo anytime soon. For now, So long! P.S. Horrible store. I ordered a bottle of E.H. Tayor Single Barrel online and it was cancelled. At first I thought, "hey no big someone probably beat me to it" and the system hadn't refreshed yet. But it's been saying that the item has still been in stock for two weeks and every time I try it gets cancelled. I'm pretty sure that the workers are saving it for themselves. DO NOT ORDER FROM OR SUPPORT THIS LOCATION. I've had 2 orders of wine in as many weeks that I placed on the BevMo! app where half of my bottles of wine were missing. This wasn't in either case a problem with inventory. In both cases, their app specified that they had over 20 of these bottles in stock AFTER I placed my order. I've had multiple delivery people warn be about this location for the past few months that they've had problems with them before. While I've only had a problem twice, it's clear that many other customers have had problems, as well. Tonight, my delivery person (from Shipt, which is a separate company from BevMo!, but which BevMo! uses for their deliveries) went back to the store, put the manager on with me on his phone, and when I told the manager he had 25 bottles of the wine I ordered still in stock according to their app, he shoved the phone back in my delivery person's hands, shut the door to the store, and locked it - while I was still on the phone. I highly suspect that the manager(s) of this store are either deliberately withholding peoples' online orders in order to retain both their profits AND inventory. Or, perhaps, they're simply highly incompetent. Either way, I look forward to my phone call with the BevMo! corporate offices tomorrow. Because you can try and mess around with me. But now they're bullying the delivery people, too. February 6th, 2022 at 7:00 PM was when the incident occurred. To the manager working there at that time: You're either deliberately or accidentally incompetent. Either way, you've wasted so much of my time and the time of my delivery person - who has agreed to corroborate exactly everything that went on - that I am going to waste SO much of yours. What the hell happened to this once great store?!?! Over the years I have spent some serious money on booze here. I haven't been in a while and decided to go in today and get some of the rarer whiskey, gin and tequilas that I like. It was like walking into a weird convenience store. Rows and rows of potato chips, shampoo, soap, toothpaste, laundry detergent etc. Then a few compacted / compressed rows of booze. The whole vibe of the store has changed. After purchasing at full retail price, I discovered a box was indeed meant to be included with this bottle as part of the purchase. I spoke to the manager, and he began yelling at me over the phone, asserting that he had a legal degree, and that I was not entitled to the box because I agreed to buy the bottle without a box.
