i've been coming to this store for the last month and a half and tonight i was treated in the worst way possible by the manager lakita. the cashier was a male with blonde slightly curly hair and i asked him for the price of a specific item he did not know so he asked lakita who is the manager. she looked up very sarcastic rolled her eyes and neck and said she did not know, which left myself and the cashier stunned....being in customer service for over a decade i was expecting her to go and find out the price of the item that i wanted. i instantly declined the item based on her attitude and her non-willingness to assist myself and the cashier. i told him just forget it don't worry about it.. i don't want it now because she has an attitude. when she heard me say that she aggressively began walking towards the cash register and stopped. i was under the impression that she was going to fight me or get in my face. i then ask the cashier who his manager was and unfortunately it was her this was so disappointing because i felt like i had no one to run too. she then began to make small talk about me to the security guard and they thought it was very funny. the security guard is possibly hispanic tall female kind of large body... she is also very rude and unwelcoming neither one of them speak to you when you walk in the store or tell you to have a good night but they look at you like girls off the street that are aggressive. and they thought that my unfortunate encounter was very funny and i don't appreciate that. no one appreciates being laughed at by employees and security of the business they're patronizing. read more

Solid because they carried the Sam Adams Octoberfest, both the big pack plus the Sweater Weather pack. (Yes, I'm a fall beer lover that Bill Burr would make fun of haha). Negative stars because of the cashier. There should be a rule to not allow cell phone play during a shift. Sure, we've all texted on the job at some point. But the guy was not leaving it alone. When I walked up to the line, he was still texting a good minute at least before acknowledging me. Then a poor older lady was looking for help. I guess there was nobody on the floor because she had to come over to the cashier to get assistance. She was actually interested in the high-end stuff. She asked about getting a fancy liquor. He just pointed and was like, "It's over there." She said she knew, but it was behind a locked case. He said, "Oh, someone has to unlock it." Then there was the longest awkward silence after. The lady was really polite and finally said, "Could someone please unlock it for me?" Only then did he find someone to help her. I felt bad for her that she had to hunt someone down and ask in 3 different ways to get her request. She should have been treated like a VIP. read more

This morning, I received an email notifying me that I would receive the order (but the date/time on the order was for yesterday). I just called and the woman on the phone told me that she would schedule the order for 6-7pm tonight. And now I just got a text messaging notifying me that the order will arrive in 50 minutes. Don't go to this place, they run Gopuff which is a scam. They drop things off the order and make you run around to get a credit on your next purchase? Do yourself a favor if you happened to have ordered from them and got a incomplete delivery, don't waste an hour of your time trying to get a refund, just dispute it on your credit card. IF you want your alcohol on the same day you place your order, then right now it's better if you actual go to a liquor store (or grocery store) that is allowing you to walk in (or at least taking your order at the door). BevMo! is not set up adequately to handle processing online order fulfillment in a reasonable time frame...for those customers seeking alcohol in the same 24 hour period that it's ordered. As long as you're stocking up and your purchase is for use at a future date, I strongly recommend to shop somewhere else. The main thing that I am semi-frustrated with is that no where during the online ordering process does BevMo! inform you that the order fulfillment could take as long as or longer than 24 hours to process. However, the app will definitely charge your card immediately. I called to store after waiting over 5 hours, and the team member that I spoke to said that they are running at least a day behind. To be clear, I do not hold the local team members responsible for this...it's more of the responsibility of corporate or regional to ensure that they are able to handle the logistics and operations here. For those experiencing this as well, please refrain from yelling at the local team members who are actually doing their best to keep up with the demand. I like the variety and convenience of shopping at BevMo but will be looking for an alternative. Over the past year, I've caught the staff at this store over-charging based on the in-store advertised price or not honoring coupons, even though they were clearly scanned. Each time there is no apology or explanation, and most importantly no change in behavior. Have to assume this is extreme negligence or being done on purpose. My friend badly needed to use the Restroom. Jeremy's excuse for not giving us the key was that I was standing on top of customers when I was standing at the empty cash register next to Jeremy's cash register. I explained it was an emergency and he expressed no sympathy that my friend had a medical condition. We also felt discriminated because we were Asian and everyone was white. The white lady who asked for key after us was treated with more respect. Will not go back again until Jeremy is fired!! I've been looking everywhere for the limited edition Absolut SF, and when I called around, this was the first place who carried it. Jackpot! It's basically a big warehouse store for all kinds of libations, but also with a large selection of gourmet sodas, cheeses, accessories (ie. fast-pour spouts, wine chillers, etc.). Prices on their hard liquor seemed very good. The buy-one-get-one-five-cents wine sale seemed very good, though honestly you can do just as well at Trader Joe's or Pavilions if you shop smart. They carry everything they are priced right, and there's an hour of free parking underneath the complex. Win. read more

They have almost everything that you can dream about - either on hand or that they can order, or send you to a different location. Called the store and was put on hold until I called back again to ask for a manager and the clerk told me he was "probably busy". This store is pretty good. I come to this one the most, they always have the liquor Im looking for. Although lately they've added a grocery store, but it's very expensive when Target is right next door. You can pick up snacks but I would not suggest buying your dinner ingredents out of here. I like that I can come here and get out quick, but I always get an uncomfortable feeling from the cashiers. They're never waiting at the register for customers, you have to put your stuff there and wait for them to appear. I came in to purchase some GlenDronach Scotch and, on the way out the door, the bottle fell out of the cardboard tube. Although this was a 12-year scotch, I aged two years watching the bottle hit the floor. Mario, who cashed me out, said not to worry since the container broke in the store. BevMo doesn't have the best prices, but they send coupons regularly, and also send a 5% off bonus every time you spend $250. If you use and combine those coupons, you've gotta good shot at the best prices for booze, etc. The big problem with THIS Bevmo is, they're the only store that hasn't let me combine coupons. Today, they'd only let me use my $10 off $50 purchase OR my 5% off bonus coupon. Others BevMo's, like the one in West LA on Wilshire Bl., gladly let me combine both coupons in the same purchase. Today my son ordered water and soda to be delivered as the store is only open to pick up or delivery at this time. The website stated delivery between 2&3PM. At 3PM he called to see if it was on the way. A woman answered and said it would arrive "In a few minutes." It did not arrive. At 6PM he called to see where the order was. The woman checked his order and said it was ready. He asked if it would arrive tonight or tomorrow. She said it would arrive tonight as all the items were in stock. At 7:20, I called to see what was up. Nessa answered the phone. I asked for a Manager, she said the Manager was not in. She could help me. I asked about the order. She then tells me she told my son that the order would not arrive tonight, but tomorrow between 1&2PM. He should check his email. He checked his email that was generated at 6PM when he called. It stated the order would be delivered today between 2&3PM which was impossible as it was 6PM when the email was sent. I told her what the email said. She then says she's not responsible for the email system after telling me to check the email for an update. I was angry, and she told me she was going to switch me to Customer Service as I was yelling at her. My daughter works for Trader Joe's IN front of customers daily. This person deals with them on the phone at this point. My problem is not that I had to have the delivery items ASAP. It is the fact that there was not 1 straight answer given, it would've been as simple as " Here are the facts, your delivery will be tomorrow between 1&2PM - Sorry for the inconvenience." That's all, not 14 different stories by 2 different people. Not interested in basically calling my son a liar, he told me what he said, and what she said - He even told her at the time it would be fine for it to be delivered tomorrow. She insisted it would be today. If Bevmo can't handle delivery, then they should not advertise it. ALL stores are slammed, ALL employees are under pressure. I know my daughter is under that pressure. What makes me mad is the absolute confusion at that store. And, the Manager is not there to organize the situation. POOR leadership. Yeah, maybe he needs to work overtime to get it in order. Like most of us do. Never again, one last thing..After I got off the phone I did call Customer Service, and they were overwhelmed and were not taking calls..just emails. So, had I let her transfer me to Customer Service I would have gotten a recording going nowhere, super bad service. UPDATE 3-24 We rec'd an email that the delivery will arrive several hours later than Nessa stated. Also, they reduced the order. My son was told yesterday at 6PM the order was complete, and ready to be delivered. Interesting how suddenly today my order was reduced. When I first walked into the building I was greeted by a very nice young man who was willing to help and answer any questions I had. He was very pleasurable and made my experience trying something new a little easier. However, that quickly changed when I got to the counter. The girl at the counter was very dismissive to me. I watched her greet and speak to the person in front of me in line. When it became my turn, her smile immediately changed. I did not get a hello, or even eye contact. She asked me for my bev card number and I gave it to her, and she began scanning my items. I noticed that one of my bottles rang in a few dollar more than it had been advertised for. I mentioned to her that "I believe that price was wrong", and she completely ignored me. So I mentioned it again ... again nothing. Then when she was done, she just gave me the total. I ordered the wine I needed online and it was ready and waiting for me when I arrived. It took them about 20 minutes to fill the order, which was impressive. You get an email when your order is ready. This BevMo is humongous! Even though parking is a tad annoying because you have to go into the underground garage shared with Target, it was surprisingly easy to get from lot to BevMo. I ordered online to save time but seeing as the store was not very busy, this was unnecessary. Once inside there are aisles upon aisles of alcohol. From wines and beers to ciders, mixers, bar tools and snacks. Overall they have a decent selection. I think they could offer more variety in terms of bottle size. At events it's fun to pour magnums and they didn't have many magnums. I also think it's nice to offer more half bottles or splits. Prices are fair and they often run the $.05 promotion where you buy one wine and get the other for $.05. Recently they did this on a great Bordeaux that I've seen sold elsewhere for $30/bottle. The staff was friendly and eager to please and more than willing to escort me to my car with my order. One hour free parking in the lot. read more

I will say this is a stressful time and I appreciate her answering my questions - the delivery was late but it was explained that they have had an influx of orders.
