    Side of fries

The food was really good and the waitress and hostess were very nice. I was a little bummed kids aren't allowed on the patio, but the indoor seating is nice too. The bathroom and dining area was clean and had good vibes/lighting. I docked a star for a few reasons. The drinks were a bit small- about half size compared to most other restaurants. We had to wait on refills a couple times. They also forgot my mom's entree so we all had our food and had to wait about 10 minutes for them to prepare her food. I'm not sure what happened with that and they did not offer any reconciliation for the extended wait on her sandwich. I got the Asian Salmon salad and it was amazingly delicious! My husband got the Southwest Chicken salad. He liked it but the chicken was dry and the dressing a bit lackluster (especially compared to my peanut vinaigrette that came with my salad!). My toddler and baby shared a kids burger, fruit, and chips, along with a side of fries. My mom got a half club sandwich with fruit. I didn't end of getting a pic of her food. I would give this place a second try for sure!

Service was top notch! Nachos were an enormous mountain with generous toppings. Happy Valley Hefeweizen was ridiculously smooth. It was quite empty, but having been an Utah holiday, as to be expected. If you are not from Utah... this is a "restaurant". You must order food to buy any alcohol. Even if it is chips and salsa.

My mother in law LOVES Desert Edge because of how consistent this place is. They do a good job and bring out the food hot each time. My husband and MIL are really big on temperature, so that's very important to us! They have Diet Coke but the brew is a little less carbonated than I'd like and they bring it in a small glass. We started with chips and salsa. The roasted salsa was smoky with a little kick. Really good! My MIL got the pastrami and Swiss panini. This is her FAVORITE sandwich! She would give it a 5/5. My SIL had the grilled turkey and cranberry. It's like thanksgiving on a sandwich. I've seen her get this sandwich multiple times because she likes it so much. They both got the kale salad with goat cheese on the side. Normally this is really good, but today it didn't have enough dressing. My husband got the sirloin open face. He loves the flavors especially the carmelized onions. I got the turkey avocado sandwich. I wasn't a huge fan of the bread. The fries though were 5/5. I would definitely recommend this place. I feel like their menu has something for everyone. It's also super awesome to walk around Trolley Square before or after going there. I love the vibes and the stores in the mall.

Sirloin open face and Crispy Fries - Side, Fjord Explorer 20oz

Perfect small brewery to stop in for a pint and a lovely dinner. I got the Fjord Explorer which was delish (I love a crisp beer!) and the open face Sirloin sandwich with fries. The sando was actually nirvana on a plate, and the fries were deliciously crispy. The service was super friendly and attentive and I sat in a cozy corner booth where I could look out the window while the sun was going down. The music was playing but not too loud, and other tables were just close enough to feel comfy but not so close I felt like an honorary dinner guest. Highly recommend!

Come for the beer, stay for the food! FAST review Food: Amazing! I had the French Dip. The meat was amazing. I added the Greek pasta salad which was great. My wife had the Turkey sandwich which was also really good. Add in a couple of their own brews and it was a great lunch. Atmosphere: we were there mid-day, and it wasn't crowded. But we sat out on the patio and as the sun was getting low it was hot, but it was beautiful. Service: Great. The young gentleman who served us got our drinks and order to us quickly. Tip: on a good day sit on the patio and definitely try their food.

This place is soooo cute!!!!!! Love the atmosphere in the trolley station but the decor is perfect! Got a spot along the window so could look outside. Patio looked cute! Beer was amazing!!!!! Service was excellent and the food was good!!! Fries were definitely bar fries but I had the curry chicken sandwich and it was delish! Can't wait to go back and try something different! Can't believe I didn't know this existed before!

We came here to try and get some essence of the old Red Butte Cafe, which we miss desperately. We return because there is never a wait. I have not found that any of my Red Butte favorites have been recreated here to my satisfaction. The French onion soup is basically cheese with a little broth on top. Depending on what you are looking for, that could be incredible or a disappointment. The good news is that it is not a bowl of soggy bread, which always ruins French Onion. The highlight for me is the poutine. I have been looking for a good one since my favorite place closed down. This poutine is not your standard fare, but it was delicious!

Came here to grab some drinks and food with friends. It was a pretty chill place to be, especially during the weekday. I love their patio area. Service here was great. Our waitress was very quick in getting our stuff and kept checking on us if we needed anything. She would also give suggestions on beers and cocktails if needed. The food here was good as well. I thought for a brewery it would be more bar like food. I was surprised with the quality I got. The fish tacos was really good and the sides it came with was delicious.

This dish is amazing! The gravy poured over the fries was soo good. The steak was cooked perfectly. The fries weren't soggy and crispy even with the gravy on it. Huge portion

"Don't worry honey, it's okay to look, and also throw money at the half-naked women! I promise you won't get in trouble!" Uh-huh. ;) Alright, I digress. Awkwardness aside, Prohibition is a really great place to enjoy a classy dinner, where the meat is served on a place AND on stage, and the cheesecake comes with the price of admission! Speaking of admission, as my wife and I were guests, being shepherded along by our friend, I cannot recall exactly what the "cover charge" was (not much, if I remember correctly...less than $20 for two?), and if reservations are *required*, I cannot say for certain, but I would say they are *recommended* at the very least, because our showtime was packed. Anyway, once paid, you are escorted through a secret bookcase door (SLC residents sure do love their speakeasies, don't they?), and into the dining hall and saloon, where you're soon to have your socks knocked off...well, someone's clothes are coming off, anyway! We were given a table that I dismissively thought was tucked away pretty far in the back and out of the way, but it ended up being one of the best seats in the house, as the table where the performers gathered, prepped, and returned to was just adjacent to us, so we were about as up close and personal as you can get, without getting yourselves arrested. Each of the dancers brought their own style, flair, and wardrobe to their performances, which were spirited and energetic, and a touch racy, without devolving into outright debauchery. It may be an (18+? 21+?) venue, but alcohol restrictions aside, I wouldn't hesitate to take older, more mature teens to a show with similar content. We ordered a smattering of smaller dishes, as we weren't particularly hungry, but the Mishima Wagyu tacos were fantastic (as you would expect), as was the Fedora Fin (Za'atar-crusted ahi tuna), and all of our cocktails. As the show is timed event with multiple performances per night, both food and bev are fired out of the kitchen/bar faster than the bullets from a Tommy Gun, but with far better accuracy. The whole operation here was honestly very impressive, from start to finish. Coming from a progressive city like Portland, it's always struck me a little odd that places that, by reputation, strike you as more conservative end up having some of the best, most wild entertainment venues, that you only wish you had back home. Prohibition is one of these places that I would rather see in my downtown, instead of the litany of seedy strip joints pushing for maximum titilation, but with only a fraction of the class and sophistication. Prohibition is good, clean fun, masquerading as something illicit, which is the heart of what makes it work so well.

It was cooked perfectly, packed with flavor, and one of the best burgers I've had in a long time.
