If I could give zero/ negative stars I would. I went to this salon for Andrew because my mom had gotten me a groupon as a gift. I called ahead to make my appointment purpose very clear, that it would be the first of three in order to accomplish a grey balayage since I am a brunette and olive toned. I was fully aware of how long the process would be and was ready for a change due to my genetics for premature grey hair. Just before my appointment time Alison texted me on her personal phone number saying they moved to a different suite than the one listed, not a huge deal but kind of late notice/ unprofessional. Upon arrival, they didn't know who I was, that I had a groupon, or what I wanted done during this appointment. I maybe got to speak with Andrew for 5 minutes before Alison butted in, while she was with a different client actively sitting and attempting to cut hair. Andrew had suggested a test strand to see what color could be accomplished that day, saying it would take 15-20minutes to do. Alison cut him off and said that it would take 30-45 minutes. Alison was extremely aggressive and repetitive telling me that I wasn't going to be happy with the color job or cut. At first Andrew kept giving solutions when Alison was giving negatives, I assume he just got fed up before he left the very small room. Alison then said that the groupon wasn't even worth what I was asking to get done, but I was gifted a balayage and that's what I wanted- it's not her opinion and she's not who I was scheduled to color and cut my hair. After I had had enough of that awful woman yelling at me, I just picked up my bag and left crying about 30 minutes after my appointment start time. I knew what I would have been getting into if I had stayed, fried hair and a bad cut. Very frustrated at the extreme negligence for any semblance of good customer service and unprofessionalism demonstrated by these co-owners. DO NOT GIVE THEM BUSINESS. read more

I bought 2 groupon deals for my friend and myself. Huge mistake. It included haircut, deep conditioning, and either all over coloring or partial high lights. For my friend, didn't even ask what color high lights she wanted. They just went with blond. She has always gone with ash blond in the past. She asked for short layered hair and bangs. She got a trim and the bangs at least. As for the deep conditioning, well they did apply conditioner. Now for me, I asked for blond hair hair color on roots to match rest of hair. Andrew consulted his wife and she said to go with medium dark brown, so of course I now have 4 inches of brown hair and rest blond hair. I hate this look. It looks tacky. As for haircut. I got it cut a lot shorter but the ends are very uneven ending up in sort of peak. Again no deep conditioning. I read so many reviews on him. I wanted this to go well seeing it was a gift for friend's birthday. I get him and his wife are partners on everything but try listening to your clients also. read more

To begin, my appointment was at 10:00 and they started at 10:30. I was fine with waiting. Then I explain the color I wanted and even showed a picture of the balayage that I wanted. I wanted a cool blonde. I also asked him to Frame my face. Well he really didn't know what he was doing because he stood there for a long time contemplating... on what? I have no idea. He begins dying my hair in a method I have never seen before and does my face framing last which should have been done first because I wanted that to be the lightest. Finally, it was time to wash the dye out. He blow drys it and I start seeing it's yellow and brassy. So I ask him to fix it. He says oh I must have misinterpreted what you were saying I thought you wanted yellow. Who the heck wants yellow hair first of all and second of all blonde and yellow are two different colors and I never said yellow. Anyways, he goes back and retones. It still didn't work, colors uneven on sides of my head, yellow here and there, brassy streaks, I got some white random pieces of hair. I didn't ask him to fix AGAIN because by them I don't trust his work and I don't want him to ruin my hair. Plus I had been there from 10:00-2:10 and I was just done. Anyways, I do not recommend this place and will not go back. Hope this helps someone because I wouldn't want this to happen to anyone else. read more

I thought these people were incredibly kind and "real"! Talked about their own life and asked about yours. Very sweet! I shared a picture of what I liked and although I didn't get it exactly, I'm still happy with the turn out and the cut is great! I used a Groupon so it was much cheaper than it should've been. As an honest review I would suggest not going here for difficult colors, but basics or something fun to spice it up seems easily done. When I was there there were three other customers and everyone walked out happy! Would go again ! read more

Not happy with color or cut I didn't say anything bc I didn't want drama and definitely not re color or cut my hair it could have been ruined worse lol I tip bc he was really nice and tried but I think he needs more training to color my roots were dark and he totally lighten my hair and turned it blond not what I wanted but it's a lesson. ! Found this one place because of an amazing Groupon deal and let's just say I was definitely not disappointed! I decided to go with balayage for the summer, but other then than that I really had no idea what I was looking for in terms of the kind of blonde. They took my very limited information they gave me exactly what I wanted! A beautiful golden balayage that compliments my dark blonde hair perfectly! They also helped me understand my hair texture so much better! For example, I've never successfully curled my hair... not without a lack of trying, but it never holds... turns out my hair is so soft that the curls just kind of fall out which is why I need basically a whole can of hairspray to get it to last even a few hours. Lol. The vibe of this place was perfect too, very chill and the location was super convenient. I will definitely be going back even without a Groupon. Thank you Andrew! read more

My wife had been wanting to get her hair done so we made an apointment. It's always hard when trying a new place, especially for hair because it can go horribly wrong. Fortunately this experience was the exact opposite because they nailed exactly what she was looking for and worked with her on color choices that really complimented her complexion and style. When i talked to her after the appointment was over, she said she LOVED her hair. When she got home, i saw what she meant because her hair was amazing. Just got my hair done here and I LOVE it! Not only did they get my balayage on point but the cut was exactly what I wanted. They work as a team and they never leave you questioning wether you can trust them or not. Very nice people and made sure me and my girlfriend were comfortable the whole time. Ok so I also had a Groupon an had to put it off because of covid so I waited an waited an waited I bought this in probably March for my nieces wedding in June. So I called finally trying to get an appointment with Andrew (it said on Groupon only with andrew) so it's way past the Groupon date for me to use it they said it's fine just talk to andrew so I did an he told me he had put me with allison. So I made an appointment (oh yes on appointment date she texted me she moved) so now IT'S NOVEMBER I went in for appt an I told her what I wanted ( told andrew what I wanted baylage an cut ) but I guess a husband an wife don't talk to each other hair dressers mind you. So I told her an she loudly says I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THAT I THOUGHT IT WAS JUST A CUT so I said no it's both SOOOOOOOOOOOO she said I have to reschedule AGAIN so she tells me the beginning of Dec not the 3rd because it's her bday so she texted me the next day that we have to reschedule AGAIN because she was exposed to COVID WHILE PARTYING FOR HER BIRTHDAY. So FINALLY I get an appointment she starts my color we talk while she's working I could feel her using the brush on my hair an she's brushing up the opposite way ?????? I'm thinking I have NEVER SEEN ANYONE do this before so she keeps working an finally hrs later I'm done I really thought it was good until later when my hair was 2 colors black an orangutan orange I'm sure baylage is supposed to lighten up in stages NOPE NOT MINE BLACK & ORANGUTAN ORANGE people notice my hair is different but CAN'T EVEN say oh it looks nice they look at it an turn away laughing. I wanted so bad for this to be a great experience and my new salon. I can only say that I was extremely disappointed. First, my stylist was an hour behind for my morning appt, then I showed pictures of cut and color I wanted,. 2 1/2 hrs later, walked out very disappointed. My cut and color looked nothing like what I asked for. When I got home my husband pointed out that I had a like of demarcation across the back of my head. The color was like a line across my head separating my base color from my highlights. I wanted to cry! Now, after money wasted, I need to have someone fix it. DO NOT GO HERE!! I asked to get balayage with like a caramel blonde and I got an ugly yellow blond that wasn't even blended. I told him that wasn't the color I wanted and him and his wife both tried to argue that it was the blonde that I wanted. They offered to "fix it" but I did not want him to do anything to make it worse. The lady seemed hella rude and was talking bad about clients. Awful! Don't bother for professional hair treatments. They really need to go back to beauty school for a lot more training. Horrible tiny highlights and 'hair stylist' reeked of cigarette smoke while doing my hair. Now I will find somewhere else to go to ix the mess I have. 2 hours of time on wasted highlights!!! read more
