Such a beautiful little coffee shop! The girls who rang us up and made our coffee were both very kind and professional. I will say, I love that they've got a lot of popular viral treats in their case and on their menu, but I was a little underwhelmed by the coffee itself. We got the iced Dubai chocolate latte, and the peanut butter marshmallow latte. They tasted good, but texturally and consistency wise, it could definitely use some work. Overall though, it's definitely worth stopping by if you're wanting something specific that only they serve, but if you're specifically looking for coffee only, I'd probably recommend someplace else. read more

My wife and I just moved here and she found this place after watching the viral TikTok videos about the fruit cakes. This place is so pretty, I really wanted to give it a five star review. However, we just moved here and the two times that we have gone, we have had the same issue(s). Neither of us order a drink - we both only have ordered dessert from the dessert case. After moving through the (very short) line, you would expect that your dessert is ready pretty immediately. They give you those buzzing coasters to let you know when it is ready. Twice, we have been here and sat over 15 to 20 minutes to wait on our order. After wondering, what is taking so long to plate something already made, I went to the counter to see what the issue was. The first time, I wasn't given a buzzing coaster. I saw other people going to the pick up counter with them, and I went to the hostess to see if I should have received one. She said she thought she had put the order in and given me one, but we sat there for much too long watching other people grab their desserts and she never questioned why we were still there without anything. Right in front of the bar remind you. But, no problem. Mistakes happen. A couple days later, we return for a second try. This is the time we got the fruit cakes. This time, we were given a buzzing coaster. We went and sat down to wait. Yet again, about 15 or 20 minutes pass and nothing happens with the coaster. I returned to the pick up bar and our desserts had been sitting there for however long. I only know this because I asked the wait staff if they were for our numbered coaster, she said yes. They were time stamped. The outside of the fruitcake is supposed to have a crunch. Both of these were soft and melting the second that we touched them. The things we have had here have been very tasty, but the set up for ordering and the wait staff are subpar. While the staff seems nice, they will see you just sitting there, aware of your order, and nothing happens. Or you order and it doesn't get put out at all until you ask (if it isn't coffee). So odd. Ambiance is really nice though. Desserts are pricey. read more

We were walking back to the hotel at night and Qahwah Palace was calling my name as we walked by. While seeing peoples desserts through the window, I knew I had to grab something to take with me. It's very bright inside with a very modern and unique aesthetic. After looking at the dessert case I was overwhelmed, but decided on the sleeping chocolate bear (with Dubai filling) because the detailing was so cool. I also ordered a pistachio milk cake and a iced strawberry matcha. One thing about taking it to go is that you don't get the great presentation of the desserts. Eating them back at the hotel was still, good but enjoying them on site would be better. The desserts were great and my matcha was delicious. This place would be the perfect date spot or somewhere to go with a. group of friends and try and bunch of different desserts. read more

Tried the new coffee shop on main st and it was definitely a unique spot with beautiful ambiance- I see why it's gotten popular on social media! We got our coffee and food in to-go containers since the kids were with us, but it's definitely a place you want to go and sit for a bit / don't be a in a rush to get your drinks and food because they do tend to get busy and service was a little bit slow when we went. However there's plenty of seating it's beautiful inside, so go when you're not in a hurry and you can enjoy! The iced tiramisu latte was decadent and very tasty. Definitely a dessert treat. The Turkish coffee was super strong - not sweet at all but veryyy strong and rich. The Oreo milk cake was so yummy, texture was like a tres leches, so very moist and it was by far my kids favorite treat. We also tried the viral strawberry dessert (in a sweet white chocolate shell that's shaped like a strawberry, filled with strawberry cream filling). It's was good but very expensive so I think it's partly because of the novelty of it - I think their milk cakes and other treats are much tastier and better value. I don't want to take away from the beautiful and tasty desserts or even the insanely classy interior design here, but the drinks are where Qahwah Palace rules. The inside is spacious and has meeting rooms in the middle so you could work from here and there was ample seating even on a busy weekend. The service was quite slow so have patience when ordering and getting your drink. The peanut butter in this drink resulted in a more chunky texture and while tasty I'm not sure id want this texture in my drink again. read more

I'm visiting from Los Angeles, and while passing by we found this place and decided to give it a try, and I'm so glad we did! Everything about it was absolutely amazing. The coffee and desserts were delicious, especially the pistachio Latte. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, with such genuine hospitality that made the whole experience even better. The atmosphere is beautiful, and the seating area is so cozy, you could honestly sit there all day and enjoy it. I truly wish they had a location in Los Angeles! I visited Qahwah Palace today from Atlanta. I asked for a latte but with the tangerine syrup as orange lattes are my absolute favorite. I was told they would ask if that's doable. Mind you it's a latte with one pump of syrup, of course it is doable. I was told they can't do that but I could choose vanilla or caramel. Excuse me? What kind of ridiculous customer service is that? You have dozens of flavored syrups, yet only two are available in coffee? I wanted a latte with a pump of syrup. Regardless if the employee thought it was good or not, it should have been done. 0 stars for the rude behavior exhibited by the staff. The woman with long hair should be retrained. Unacceptable way to treat a customer and shows how little their employees know. Think beyond caramel and vanilla ladies. We should be far more cultured than that. read more

Is it a beautiful shop? Absolutely. Are the women kind? Yes! But they have to figure out how to serve more people faster. Waiting almost 20 mins for a latte is crazy. You chose a busy location to open up. Then you need to be able to supply faster. People waiting for their coffee to go mixes in with the line of people trying to order. As an avid coffee drinker who has been in Greenville for years, I love to try new cafes. Qahwah is different than every other. The coffee was great and was reasonably priced. The menu is neat with authentic Middle Eastern coffee along with other coffees from around the world. The atmosphere is clean, comfortable, and spacious. Qahwah provides a unique cultural experience in Greenville; it may very well become my favorite cafe in the city. Definitely worth a try! read more
