I had a broken glasstop on my range, and it was covered under my home warranty policy. The Beyer technician wrote in his report, without evidence, that something had been dropped onto the glasstop to break it. He wasn't speculating, etc., but just saying that that had happened. Consequently, my warranty service, American Home Shield, would not accept it as normal wear and tear and would not repair the range. Simply WOW! Not only did I receive fast, competent, professional, and amazing support - but the team at Beyer CARED! I had a part that was still within warranty by the manufacture, and they showed no hesitation to support me through the process of getting the manufacturer to standby their product. They could've elected to charge an arm and a leg for this repair, but stood on business to ensure that I would be a return customer. I am truly sorry to live a poor review because it probably does not reflect on the entire company but they were contracted to do warranty work on behalf of my home warranty and it has not been done and has lead to hardship. I was given a date and a time frame to repair my microwave. I arranged to be off work. I was notified only via text that the time frame had shifted. I called and was told that they would no longer be honoring the earlier time frame. I was explicit that, due to work reasons, I could not be available when scheduling. We rescheduled for another day again shifting my work schedule. Then, after hours, I received a text message notifying me that my microwave repair appointment time had changed again, once more landing on top of my working hours that, at this point, I can no longer can shift. When a contract is taken it should be fulfilled and, if a verbal agreement is reached it should be honored. Having an appliance that is under warranty serviced should not cause someone to lose income for their family. This is totally unacceptable and exceptionally poor service practice. I don't know to the degree that it affects other consumers. My family however has not only been adversely impacted without a way to prepare specific consumables for medically fragile and high needs children (which they were informed of) we also are at a point where work hours are being lost. It is not about "we made a scheduling mistake" it is about people's lives. Every contract every promise and every agreement should be upheld as a sign of good faith integrity and reflect the professionalism that one would expect from any business. read more

Beyer Appliance Service replaced the display on my Samsung Range because it was blinking like crazy. It cost almost $400.00. This was July 2024. The technician told me it would not happen again and if it did, they would stand behind it. It is now starting to blink again, so I called them and they want to charge me $99 to take a look at it. Beyer's tech spent 10 minutes and said there was no leak and insinuated I was a liar because the gas co's pamphlet said "see email" and I didn't have one in hand. I showed him the door. Horrible experience with Beyer Appliance Service. I purchased an extended warranty for my ice maker machine that was installed in the cabinet under my island. The warranty company assigned Beyer Appliance. Beyer insisted they had to remove my ice machine from my house to do the repair. We provided cardboard for the technician to move the machine on my floor without scratching it. They returned it ten days later and said nothing was wrong and reinstalled. The tech was unsure if the drain hose was set properly into the drain and told us to call them if we saw any water on the floor. The next day my floor was wet outside my island. I called Beyer to remove the ice machine so I could dry out my floors, which they did, but by this time my hardwood floor was starting to buckle. The technician took pictures and said that Angelique would be calling me. Over the weekend the damage continued to spread throughout my kitchen. I made several calls to Angelique and finally she called me on Wednesday and said to get an estimate of the damage and email it to her, but she would be out of town until Monday. I sent the estimate and told her we had access to the back of the cabinet. After several days, she emailed me and said they would accept no liability for water damage and offered me $500. The damage to my hardwood floors is in the thousands of dollars. I am consulting an attorney. read more

I need my washing machine fixed. I made an appointment with my home warranty company ( I know that's why I need to write this review.) my company sent my order to Beyer. Beyer called me in less than an hour to make an appointment. The employee was kind and even had the SAME DAY appointments. Brian showed up with a smile and let's get this fixed attitude. He sees that this is not a QUICK fix and lets me know that he needs to take it to the shop. Later that day, they called me to schedule an appointment to pick up my washer. Beyer then sent a fantastic employee to pick up my washer. He was taking it out like it was his washer and his house. Both employees let me know that it could take up to 14 days. So happy it broke on my last load of all my laundry . Their follow-up was not the runaround. A week later (5 days), they figured out what was wrong and contacted my home warranty company, and I had a check because it was not fixable! Wow, thank you for the honest hard work all of you do. Individual was on the phone, saying I was threatening him, and he feared for his life. I asked the individual to put the back panel on. Grateful for the excellent service we received from Chris at Beyer. We've had long term issues with our dryer that other service companies failed to address. The challenge was that our dryer was void of any indication of which model it actually is, which made finding the correct parts difficult. However, Chris and the Beyer team went above and beyond to ensure they got us on track. Requested service on 5-10-23 and the service technician came out on 5-16-23 and said he needed to order the ice maker. On 5-23-23 he came back with a new part that was not totally correct, so he had to go get a wire harness and come back. After he changed out the ice maker he FORGOT to add the original shut-off lever so, I sent him a text that day. He said he had the part and would take care of it. On 5-26-23 I called his office, and they said they would be out on WED. the 31st. to install the missing part. On Wed. 5-31-23 the office called and said they needed to order the part. WHAT happened, the guy said he had the part. DID they just lie to me? As of today 6-5-23 it is still not completed. If you don't mind being lied to and everything being put off a week or two, this company might work. I guess that eventually, they will get it done. Nothing was efficient. Also, the technician was not worried about hurting my granite counter. He did not put anything down to protect it from his tinkering screwdriver, I had to take the lead and place something on the work area to protect the countertop. read more

Mark Carson was the technician that came to my house and I can't say enough about his service. He went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. My issue was with a wall oven wouldn't open after I used the self cleaning option and the oven had no power. The way the builder installed the oven was a complete mess. Mark had disconnect and remove my wall microwave, which was not part of his job. Normally I would have had to call someone else to make the oven accessible so that Mark could work on our oven. If you can avoid this place, then avoid it. Our home warranty company used Beyer Appliance to repair our dishwasher and spoiler alert: after nearly a month of working with Beyer Appliance, the dishwasher still leaks water. - 4/18/22: a technician came out to assess the situation and determined the unit needed new seals. The new seals were ordered. - 4/27/22: a new technician came to the unit with the seals but said he wasn't able to remove the dishwasher to put in the new seals. I had to have a handyman come out for $75 to take the dishwasher out... all he had to do was twist the legs so the face of the unit dropped out enough to be pulled out. - 5/2/22: the same technician came out and admitted he wasn't able to figure out how to lower the legs before to remove the unit. He then installed one of the 2 seals that was needed but said the other seal he brought wasn't going to work. He also said he wasn't allowed to put the dishwasher back in. After I called and spoke with a manager, he decided he would get the unit put back in. The unit still wasn't working though because the front seal wasn't able to be replaced during that visit. - 5/5/22: same technician came out and replaced the front seal. At this time he said we shouldn't use the unit for at least 24 hours so the seal could form in place. Once we were able to run the unit, it started to leak about half way through the cleaning cycle. - 5/13/22: same technician came out and within 10 minutes said there was no leak and left. I called in to let them know the dishwasher definitely still leaked and that it was not fixed. I was told that if there was a leak, it would have started to leak within the 10 minutes the technician was there. I spoke to a manager at that time who was already on the defensive knowing she had to speak with an upset customer (which by this point, I was very upset... who wouldn't be!?). When I said I've been dealing with this for nearly a month, she cut me off and said sarcastically, "I'm confused... because you called us on May 3rd.." and proceeded to explain a situation that didn't sound like my case. When I tried to interrupt her, she yelled at me telling me that I keep interrupting her and that she can't talk. So I let her finish what seemed to be an intentionally long explanation of a situation that wasn't mine. Once finished, I asked her what address that case belonged to. She rambled off an address that was not mine - to which I asked, "what's my address"? She then said, ohhhhh! I was furious by this point. She has ZERO business managing anything and I asked her if she was f-ing serious right now lecturing me and being rude. She hung up on me at that time which I found comical since she just spent an entire call being extremely rude to me and I never hung up. Says a lot about the culture at Beyer Appliance and their lack of willingness to help their customers. I recorded a video to show that the unit still leaks and sent it to my home warranty company. Unfortunately The review platform doesn't allow me to post the video. You can see from the picture, though, that the unit still leaks and Beyer Appliance refuses to fix my unit now saying they didn't observe the leak. Thankfully my home warranty company is taking care of this now. Save yourself the headache and avoid this place. read more

They came to fix my refrigerator in November because the second shelf was freezing food. Still doing the same thing so had them come back in May, where they replaced the damper (same thing they did in November). Still freezing food so call them back. The tech turns up the refrigerator temp (out of recommended range) and leaves, says no issue. I call the office to have someone else out. Have to argue with the lady because she says if her tech says nothing us wrong, nothing is wrong. Tell that to my frozen yogurts. Finally, they agree to send someone else out. He comes, says yes, there's an issue. Orders parts . Three weeks later they come to fix it. Still not working. Now they send him back and he agrees, yep it's still not right but doesn't know the answer so they decide to send shop Manager. He comes out and says they changed out a thermostat piece which immediately caused the damper to shut. Hallelujah! The nightmare is finally over! No, it's not. Now my refrigerator is 64 degrees and all my food is spoiled. Of course I realized this on a Friday afternoon. So I'm without a refrigerator (and have a lot of spoiled food) until they open Monday. They've been here no less than 6 times and have actually made my problem worse:. The shop manager had texted me to say they were on the way on Wednesday, so I texted him to let him know the refrigerator is not cooling at all. I know it's the weekend, but he's their leadership, right? Thought he might want to know. He replies, "Call the office Monday". That's it. No, "boy I sure am sorry this is happening. We will be out as soon as we can, let us call you first thing Monday morning.". At least act like you care about what the customer is going through. Punctual, friendly, knowledgeable. A part needed to be ordered. They called on Thursday when the part came in and Guillermo installed on a Friday and did a great job. Very professional. Beyer was chosen by my Home Warranty Company. My first mistake was not reading the reviews. I called the morning of 1/16 and the appointment was scheduled on 1/21. The technician was on time however, the appointment went downhill from there. I went over the issue with my dryer he in turned told me what he thought the issue was. The technician never looked in the dryer after I told him it make load noise while the dryer is on. He heard the noise, but never took off the front to check it out. Made his assessment and was on his way doing nothing telling me it was normal wear and tear. On to the next company. Oh the other company has 5 . Took the front of the Dryer off noticed quickly it was a idler pulley issue resolved in approximately 20 minutes! Now that was customer service! read more

They were sent out from my home warranty to repair a fridge that 2 other companies were too oblivious to repair. He replaced the compressor and everything seemed to work fine for a while. A little over a month later it stopped again, not cooling at all. I called them and the incredible rude lady who answers the phone said i needed to put in another warranty call(and pay the fee) just to get them to come check out what they obviously didn't do right (the tech said everything was good on it and it will run another 20 years). They tell you theres a warrany, but you still have to pay again to come out and check why work they already did is bad. A bit of time later i decided to go ahead and call for another warranty repair. They sent Sears out, who said they won't even touch it because whoever replaced the compressor rerouted all the necessary metal tubing to rig it in some way, which is why the coolant leaked out and stopped working after a month. Beyer was the only one to ever repair it since it's purchase. And more no one through warranty will touch it to repair due to liability. Thanks Beyer, and for the hundreds of dollars i had to pay for you to leave me a useless nice stainless fridge that noone will touch unless i dish out of pocket more than it's worth. There is also other reviews on google where they did the exact same thing to other peoples fridge, rerouted, used old parts, etc, and now they cat even get them repaired properly. read more

Beyer came to us because of a claim we had filed with a home warranty company for repair of our dishwasher. On one of their visits to perform the repair in mid January, the technician needed to pull the appliance out from under the counter. Afterwards he put it back under the counter and told us we would be contacted about the next steps. On January 18, 2019 (a few days after they were here) we discovered water and garbage under our sink. While trying to figure out the leak, we noticed that the drain hose from the dishwasher to the garbage disposal had apparently been cut (presumably so the Beyer tech would be able to get the dishwasher out from under the counter). The hose was clamped to the dishwasher, but he did not undo the clamp (I have a picture of the hose, but don't see how to add it on Yelp). In my view, the hose was cut instead of being unhooked from the disposal, and the tech said nothing to us about it. When I phoned them (Beyer) on 1/18 (around 1:00pm on Friday), they seemed unconcerned and told me the soonest they could come out was Monday. Brian is awesome! Beyer Appliance Service was selected by my home warranty company, and I got lucky. Brian arrived at the start of the arrival window, and called ahead to let us know. This was while Covid 19 concerns are raging, and my wife has a compromised immune system. Brian donned mask and gloves before coming to the house, and kept them on the whole time. Brian took the time to understand the problem, dove into the repair, and gave me as much detail as I wanted about what was needed. I had a very bad and troubling experience with this company - - both with the level of service and the professionalism. Most importantly, and shockingly, the repair technician WROTE A LETTER to my property management company stating that I have a cat with specific details about what the cat looked like and how I was interacting with the cat in my townhome. Not only is this completely untrue, I don't have a cat, there has NEVER been a cat in my unit, etc - but it is EXTREMELY disturbing that the technician would write a letter to my property management company about me. I have tried to work with the company for 3 weeks to find out what would possibly prompt a technician to contact the property management company. It would be troubling to feel like I was spied on IF the story about the cat was true, but it is completely false. I left many messages with the company and was promised an investigation and a return phone call - and never heard from about this. This has prompted my property management company to try to evict me for the cat! It has been a nightmare. Also, it took 5 visits to fix my washing machine - which they never repaired - before we needed to buy a new one. I scheduled a service for an appliance malfunction. The scheduling window was 7am to 11am (really??) - I sent a text to Byer asking if I would get a call before they got there. Well, little did I expect the guy would call at 6:40 am while I was finishing my shower. They cancelled the service and One Guard went along with that. I think the people that work with home warranty are in a big hurry to do many jobs since I doubt the reimbursement rate is very good from those companies. Not too happy with them. read more

I've used Beyer twice through my home warranty now and I've had the best experiences. The team is so good at their job! They are always on time, call ahead and super knowledgeable. I had both my fridge and dishwasher serviced by them and both times were on point and efficient. The only thing to keep in mind is they are incredibly busy. Usually services are booked 1 week out but I'd rather have it fixed well than have someone else come faster but misdiagnose the issue. read more

I have a home warranty and they sent Beyer Appliance to fix my dishwasher. They sent Kelly... wow he came out twice and said there was nothing wrong and the dishwasher continued to leak. They sent Armon Brown and what a surprise he KNEW what was wrong and fixed the problem. ALWAYS ask for Armon he has good customer service. On a side note I now have a floor that is RUINED because of Kelly's inability to know anything. By the way Kelly kept insisting that the warranty company would never pay for anything. read more
