The first repair guy came out on the morning of the 16th and said both the fridge and freezer were way warmer than they should be but he couldn't tell if it was the compressor or a leak in the closed system and scheduled their best closed system repair guy, David, to come out on the 21st. Late in the day on the 21st Dave arrived, didn't even look at my fridge and said he could hear it's the compressor and to contact LG because the compressor is under warranty. Have LG send approval for the repair to them and he will come back. I contacted LG after he left and they sent the approval right over to SAAR. On Monday the 26th, SAAR kept saying they didn't get the approval and LG said yes they did. Finally after calling back several times, SAAR said they got the approval and scheduled Dave to come out on the 29th between 3 - 5 pm. Dave called me about 1:30, said he got two flats on the roadway due to debris, he limped it to Discount Tire, but it won't be repaired til after 5 pm and asked if he could come in the morning at 9 am, I said fine. At 8:18 Dave called and said he was sorry to have to do this, but he couldn't make it til noon. When asked if he was sure he was going to make it at noon, he said yes. At 12:11 Dave called and said he was on his way, but he was 45 minutes out. Dave finally arrived at about 1 pm and put in a new compressor. 24 hours later, neither my fridge or freezer are working! I lost most of my frozen food and a good portion of my refrigerated food! This company is horrible, look elsewhere

Perhaps the most important is that he is the guy doing the work, with obvious experience worth the investment.

Jason came out to look at our freezer drawer that was not closing properly but would still shut and…read morecreate a seal. He diagnosed it down to one of the rails holding the drawer in place. He said the part would take 10 days to arrive and was on his way out when I noticed the drawer was not closing at all and was much worse than before he "diagnosed" it. Had I not noticed, the food in our freezer would have likely gone bad over the next 24 hours. Before Jason left, I brought the issue to his attention and he immediately got defensive, sarcastic, combative, and condescending. I was clear that I wasn't asking for a miracle, I just wanted the door to be in the same condition as before he took it apart (not worse). He wasn't having it and eventually left. In the interest of getting the part faster (the rail that Jason said needed to be replaced) - we asked Jason for the part number and told him we were going to order it ourselves, which we did. When the part came in, we opted to go with a different service team, Appliance Care and Repair, who were fantastic. The problem now was, however, the part that Jason told us to order was the wrong part altogether. It was the wrong rail. Appliance Care and Repair had the right part within days and our freezer issue was resolved. When I called the parts store to inquire about returning the part Jason told us to order, I was told it was going cost a 25% restocking fee, which was about $14. I contacted Jason, explained the entire situation, and asked if he was interesting in reimbursing us for the restocking fee (seeing that he charged us a $99 diagnostic fee to basically break our freezer more than it already was and then give us the wrong part number). True to form, he accused me of harassing him and didn't oblige. It's no surprise that other reviews here share my sentiment. I'd recommend looking elsewhere for your appliance needs. *update* When I arrived at the parts store to return the part, they informed me that whoever I spoke to on the phone was incorrect and there was actually no restocking fee; so all was well there. It's nice to see Jason's professionalism in the matter below as he suggests I need money ($14) and recommends me for counseling.
