Purchased a Samsung TV for $5,000 and it doesn't work. Was told we had to follow protocol prior to having it replaced, which was to have a Spencers tech out, then if that didn't resolve the issue, a Samsung rep came out. Waited a couple days for them to replace the optic cord. Followed protocol and it still doesn't work. Now Gary the sales rep says he can't do anything. His boss will need to do the return authorization, but of course he's not working today and no one will call him. so another 2 days wasted and entire month of back and forth. We worked with Paul Vasquez for the purchase of a new refrigerator and gas stove. Very friendly and and great person to work with. My daughter told us about Paul as we had to purchase a new dryer last year when we were out of town. We went with the LG side by side as it had everything we wanted, he gave us a great deal on the floor model as none in stock and they would not expect more in until sometime in August. Our current Whirlpool which was 10 years old had a broken refrigerator door. Diego delivered and installed this morning. He was great and although getting the old one out and new one in, it was a tight fit, but he was so polite and did not act like it was going to be any problem at all. Yeah the unit was delivered by Gregory in a perfect and professional manner. But this is not the Stove we wanted. We wanted a Stove with safer Knobs and an Air Fryer Oven and we're well aware of Restocking fees and the cost for the additional options. Well Spencer's charge 50% restocking fees we have not used the Stove and insured it was covered etc. I got the feeling they didn't care after they made the sale. read more

I wish I had read reviews here before buying rather than relying on a few neighbors suggesting I come here. We bought a new KitchenAid dishwasher in August, 2024. It is now November, 2024 and one rack is rusting and has damaged some of my white plates. I went to the store and was told to contact their contracted repair company. I asked what the solution would be if the next rack rusts again, as it was so soon after purchase, and the manager told me that "if you get run down by a car once, what are the odds it would happen again?" This was completely weird and inappropriate. I should have answered, "I shopped at Spencers once, what are the odds of that happening again?" The repair company said they don't replace parts. I had to call KA. The repair company essentially agreed with me that the sales people don't really know about the warranty and repair process as they get referred a lot of people who they can't help. They clearly don't stand behind the brands they sell or really want to help you after the sale. read more

This was the best appliance buying experience I have ever had. Did the research, so we knew which appliance we wanted. Shopped around and found the best price at Lowes. Called Spencer's and spoke to Greg Hayes. We told him the product and price we got at Lowes and asked him for a quote. He beat the quote by a substantial amount and arranged next day delivery. Delivery was done on time and very efficiently by an expert installer. We would highly recommend Spencer's be you last call when shopping for any appliance. read more

I am extremely frustrated with my customer service experience at Spencer's TV & Appliance. I purchased a washing machine from their Mesa location, and it broke within six weeks. Instead of replacing the appliance--which would have been the reasonable solution--I was told I had to wait for a repair part. That part is back-ordered, and Spencer's has made it clear they are not willing to do anything else in the meantime. I have now been without a functioning washing machine for over two weeks, and by the time the repair is completed it will be three to four weeks, with absolutely no guarantee that the repair will even fix the underlying issue. The machine caused significant damage to my laundry room, and I have had to spend money at laundromats just to keep up with basic laundry while Spencer's refuses to expedite the situation. I contacted customer service and was told someone would follow up in a week--unacceptable given the circumstances. I then contacted their corporate office, spoke to someone, received no return call, and when I called back the following day, I was simply told the same thing: they will do nothing until the part arrives and they "see if it fixes the problem." I have spent thousands of dollars with Spencer's over the years, and to see this level of indifference and unwillingness to help is disappointing and ridiculous. I will be posting this review on Google, Yelp, and multiple platforms so other customers are aware of the lack of support when something goes wrong. read more

I purchased a water softener from Spencer's on 3/22, and I still haven't received any call regarding delivery. Spencer's or the delivery company was supposed to contact me to schedule the delivery, but no one reached out. When I called the salesperson, she said she would give me the delivery company's phone number and that I needed to contact them. When I explained that I never received any call, voicemail, or text, she argued that they "might have called and I missed it." Instead of listening, she ended the conversation by saying she would call the delivery company. Her behavior came across as rude, and it felt like Spencer's doesn't care once the purchase is completed. I also tried reaching a manager and was unable to get through to anyone. Overall, very disappointing customer service after the sale. read more
