Another locally owned business who NAILED it! This location was extremely close to my new condo- I was bummed the sellers opted to take the washer & dryer, so I needed a new unit promptly before move-in less a week out. I had called ahead to inquire on what I was looking for & the gentleman informed me they had the exact unit that was removed by the sellers in stock. Talk about luck! I really did not want to deal with a big box store. I promptly came over in person the following day to make sure I could secure it for purchase/delivery. More than happy with the customer service, here. It was a holiday weekend, but they were still open! I noticed the expansive showroom- such a variety of nice appliances! Both new & gently used/refurbished. It wasn't even 10 minutes in & he lead me to the combo I was inquiring about... headed right to checkout! But it doesn't end there... I got an "apology" as he was taking the time to look up the price comparison between big box stores- and literally went out of his way to not match it, but offer it for about 10% less! That absolutely made my day, right before I was told delivery AND install is only $50! Because obviously there's no way I could maneuver this on my own. It was a very easy transaction for a great price, delivery/install scheduled for the next week first stop of the day. ...and dang, that was a quick & flawless install! They arrived a little earlier than I did but were in & out (one man maneuvered this) in less than an hour. He took the time to check the connections & do a test run. All works perfect. It was absolutely flawless & I'm SO happy to have a washer & dryer to utilize after fully moving in tomorrow. The ONE thing I'm a little disappointed with: there is a check in offer on Yelp for a free stainless steel appliance cleaning kit. I did reference it & present the offer... but I did not receive the kit. So, please don't offer things if you aren't going to honor it. Can't complain about free, but just a little disappointing. Otherwise, this is a family owned business since 1945 local to Mesa. They take great pride in their business & you actually feel like family shopping here- because they take great care in making sure you have the right appliance for the right price along with peace of mind in a solid delivery/install. I'd highly recommend, and will absolutely be shopping here for any & all appliances in the future. This place puts the big box stores to shame, really. We ordered a new refrigerator to replace one that had crashed. We shopped online and bought over the phone after verifying availability. The delivery guys were the stars of the show. The front entrance was so tight that they had to remove the doors from both the old and the new fridge. Even then the sliding glass door had to be removed from the track for it to fit. We recently found ourselves in the unenviable position of needing a new oven at Thanksgiving time, during 2020's pandemic-induced supply crunch no less. Our builder-grade stove had finally bit the dust, despite treating it well over the last 15 years, and with Thanksgiving already ruined (thankfully just the two of us), we wanted to be sure Christmas could be salvaged. To that end, I contacted numerous places, from big-box stores to big name appliance outlets, both local and national, only to be met with continual disappointment. If you're looking for anything other than stainless steel, you are already at a disadvantage even in normal times, but during this current supply crunch, you're doubly screwed. We were getting estimate anywhere from January on up through "February at the earliest" no matter how much we were willing to spend. In my desperation, I finally started running through distributor lists for a few brands I was looking at, and came upon Mesa TV and Appliance. I was fortunate enough to get in touch with Matt, and after explaining my situation, he confirmed that they did not have the models I was looking for either. I ultimately asked if they had -anything- which met my parameters (white, non-induction, at least fan convection) and lo and behold, there was a single floor model that they had available. After doing some brief research, I realized it was perfect for our needs and decided to go for it. The best part? Mesa TV and Appliance was able to deliver it the next day, whereas everyone else in town had told me at least mid-December, even for in-stock appliances. By mid-morning the next day, we had our new oven, installed and ready to go. Everything was flawless, not a scratch on it, and their installer was super friendly and took extra time to get the job done right and the oven perfectly leveled. I could not be happier with the outcome and will definitely reach out to these folks again for future appliance needs, and will happily recommend them. I truly appreciate their helping us out during this crazy time, especially Matt. Without his stellar support, we'd probably still be looking for an oven, and certainly wouldn't have one already sitting in our kitchen. read more

So we left Spencer's TV & Appliance running for our lives. The pushy rude salesman kept telling us we better buy his washer and dryer or we were screwed. So we tried here. It is a little hard to find. Make sure you enter off Main St. Once there we were happy to find a clean store with a huge amount of nice stuff. But more importantly salesmen who answered your questions who didn't use to work as mafia debt collectors. We worked with Joel and liked his laid back style. We got a very nice but more basic washer and dryer set. We never used half the features on our last set and decided why pay for those this time? It got delivered within the week and the 3 guys who came were super nice and did a great job stacking the units in a very tight area. They all wore masks too. We would recommend this place to anyone. Sarah took care of us, extremely knowledgeable and took the time to find out what we needed and wanted, provided reasonable options, not once pushed for "a sale", and found the dishwasher we wanted but, not in stock so she had to order it. Without going into much detail, we had waited over a month for an online order at Sears, so waiting again did not sound appealing. Last August, I found myself needing 5 appliances for both my new home and our place that we were going to rent. I was planning on buying everything at Spencer's in Mesa where I bought a HE washer a few months prior. However, I found this place via google and was impressed with the prices. It was (and always is) important for me to buy local, so I went in to see what kind of deals were available with a big purchase. The salesman, Brian, really took care of me. He was not high-pressure at all. He also educated me on counter-depth refrigerators (the most expensive of the 5 items). I brought the quote for a Kitchen Aid fridge over to Spencer's and the salesperson first struggled to find the model, then told me there was no way they could come close to the price. Brian not only gave me a great price on that fridge, but he also happily matched a sales price from Ultimate Electronics that I saw advertised the next day. They also have a great price on the pedestals for washer/dryers, about $80 less than Spencers. Mesa TV and Appliance also has 12 months no interest financing available. I happily took advantage of the offer. 10 months after my purchase, I have not had any problems. You really cannot beat the prices and customer service here. We were recommended to go to Mesa TV and Appliance by our contractor for a new oven range, dishwasher and microwave during our kitchen remodel. When we went into the store the initial salesman kept pushing an induction stove on us - with no other options. We would ask him about others and he kept telling us that due to our kids we needed to really consider induction tops. We finally got another sales person to also assist and were able to look at and find a couple other ranges that we were interested in. When I went into the store for the second time to fill out the paperwork to order and for financing the sales guy couldn't figure out how to use the computer, and continued to tell me he had no idea how to use it and was used to Apple products. He was extremely confused on who I was (kept calling me my contractors name-attempted to change my contractors address in the computer to mine). I requested a copy of my receipt and asked what the total of my order was but unfortunately he couldn't figure out how to work the computer so the other sales guy told me they would take care of it and call me later once it was all handled. I called later to let Louie know that his sales person was extremely confused, wanted to make sure my order was correct due to the guy stating I was getting a "fridge". I then called my contractor and shared with her that I was worried about my appliance order. Louie assured me all was taken care of. I still haven't received any copy of my actual bill- so no idea what was charged... Well...no surprise the appliances got delivered and it was the wrong stove! Not even a stove we had looked at or the right style we were looking at! The delivery guy let me know that they would be calling me regarding the stove. I waited all day- got NO call so I called Louie and was told that the stove I wanted was more $. I was extremely clear from the beginning what stove I wanted and he quoted and charged me for the wrong stove- then delivered it and now I have to pay more because they can't get the right information! He told me the right stove would be in the next week- Wednesday. So I would need to wait another week. Well...Wednesday came and I received NO communication on the status of my stove. I called and was told it hadn't arrived- "maybe Thursday for a Friday delivery!" Friday comes- they call to confirm a delivery of 3:30-530 and I have family waiting at my house to take the stove- and the guy calls at 5:15 to try to cancel!!! When I did finally get my invoice/bill I was charged deliver and installation per item- which no one shared. They told me it was $80- not $80 per item plus deliver it installation. You might get a better deal here but their customer service stinks! They don't communicate, they don't know how to work a computer to give you a basic print out of your receipt, they don't get your order right so be prepared to wait an extended time and continue to hassle them for your order. Not impressed and been nothing but a headache! read more

I found a Maytag dryer online, which was a good price, but it would be a week or two before it would be delivered. So I decided to go to Mesa TV & Appliance and see if they had one in stock that we could bring home right away. I loaded my sister and our two girls into my SUV, and we talked with Louie, in sales. He was the only person in the showroom. The same Maytag model was $40 more than the online website. That was fine with me, if it was in stock, but it wasn't. So I found a well priced Whirlpool and purchased it, as well as the dryer kit. We talked about how I had bought several appliances from Mesa Discount TV and Appliance about 15 years ago. Louie then said that he wouldn't be able to help me load it in the car, because he hurt his shoulder yesterday, and the guys in the warehouse are off on weekends. I understand, because I have a bad back. I asked him to find someone else who could load it into my SUV. After lowering the back row of seats in my vehicle, the box still wouldn't fit. I asked if they could measure the out-of-box floor model so we would know if the dryer would fit. I also said I was okay with them tying down the box with my rear gate partially open. They asked if I had something to tie-down with, because they didn't. I was surprised they didn't keep twine in the store for exactly this situation. Costco has tied down large boxes for me on many occasions, so I just figured that this would be a common practice for an appliance store. Rather than measure the floor model to see if it would fit in the back of my car, Louie and another employee decide to just load the actual floor model. It fit fine,and they walked back into the store. I went inside and asked them what we were waiting for, and Louie explained the dryer was in my car. I was confused, because that was the floor model. I asked him to load the new dryer, which I had purchased, into the car. He said he couldn't open the box, because the warehouse was closed and he didn't have the tools. I felt like I was being punked. I asked him what tools he needed, and he explained he would needed box cutters and a wrench. I said that they would probably be in the warehouse (doorway directly behind him), where he could borrow them. He said the floor model had never been used and was the same thing. I explained that I had a bad experience with the floor model in the past, and would like the new dryer that I had purchased. I told him I would call my husband and see if he was okay with the floor model. I went outside to sit in my vehicle with the air conditioning on while I called my husband. At the same time, the other guy preceded to load the floor model out of the back of my car. I rolled the window down and asked him if he was going to load the new dryer up, or if he needed me to come back with my sister's vehicle (something we had previously discussed). He said with a smile, "Just forget it. It's only a dryer and it isn't worth it. We'd rather give you your money back." I went inside to see Louie, who was already processing my refund as I approached the sales counter. At this point there were four employees in the showroom. Nobody seemed interested in helping me to buy a clothes dryer, or getting it loaded into my vehicle. So we wasted 30 minutes of our Saturday afternoon, actually purchased a clothes dryer, yet came home without one. I am still confused...it was an easy sale for them, the price was fair so there was zero attempt at haggling, but my business still wasn't "worth it" to this company. So we four girls walked out of the showroom, and I have now placed the order online through a website that is $40 cheaper, and will deliver it to my house for free. I am a real estate agent, and have actually recommended Mesa TV & Appliance to past customers who were buying a new home. I'm not sure if any of them ever ended up buying there, but I can assure you that I will never mention this company in a positive way to anybody again. read more

I knew exactly what I wanted because I'd done quite a bit of research and I wanted to stay with a brand that matched my other appliances. I worked with Brian.
