Located in a older strip mall next to Harbor Freight Tools, this little diner offers a little bit of everything as one would expect including great service. Lunch service is filled with daily specials and soups, I started out with beef barley soup, it was quite good and served piping hot, my lunch entrée was liver and onions which came with two sides, I chose fries and green beans. This is not something I order often but was recommended by one of my associates and it was absolutely delicious the liver was sautéed perfectly and paired with thinly sliced caramelized sweet onions which were very nice, the fries were great as well as the green beans. I don't think anything ordered off the menu or wall board would be disappointing it's just that kind of simple homestyle cooking comfort food at its best. I'm sure I'll return when in the area there's not much that can top this in the area...

Cute small diner next to Harbor Freight Tools offers a classic daily special menu including the iconic Friday all you can eat Fish and Chips. We have been there a couple of times now and the dinner service is rather frantic. The food has been a little too salty and a bit too greasy to call great... but it's a nice place to stop when you need specialty items next door.

Popping in for a random breakfast.

Went here on a whim while in the area. My experience was interesting. It was mostly blue-collar families here. You can tell they were regulars and enjoyed the food and service. Actually, the whole time we were here (around 10:00 am on a Saturday), the place was pretty full! There are 4 TV's for your entertainment. The menu itself was pretty full and had a lot to offer. Our server was so attentive and nice. She filled our drinks like no ones business! We didn't like our breakfast potatoes, they tasted like they were rancid or something. She felt so bad that she took 10% off of our bill. I told her she didn't have to do that! We were full because the portions were so huge! Our server told us to come back for pigs in a blanket or the Friday night all-you-can-eat fish. I love when servers sell their products. I gave her a very generous tip for her kindness and enthusiasm.

Standard diner type fare. The food was good, but not really anything special. The service was good.

Service was friendly and the other couple seated near us were regulars and said they've never had a bad meal there. We ended up deciding to try the western omelet and a pancake with added blueberries and a biscuit on the side. After we ordered, the owner came and talked to us and said that they are famous for their eggs Benedicts and hollandaise sauce... If I'd have known that before ordering I would have tried one of those. He did bring us a little hollandaise to sample though and it was amazing! He also brought over a piece of baklava for my husband and I to try and we agreed it was the best we have ever had! Delicious and flaky and not too heavy...the owner said they make it without honey. My husband really enjoyed his omelet (it did look super fluffy and delicious) and my pancake and biscuit were good as well. They only brought out syrup packets though; I wish they had a syrup pitcher/jug but that's just personal preference. They also charged for the tap waters we ordered so that was definitely strange. Food was solid though and everyone inside was nice. I would go back and try an eggs Benedict and get some more baklava for sure! Thank you, Enchanted Cafe, for a nice Saturday morning breakfast.

It's a very old location (apparently there since the 1920's) nestled in the Portage Lakes area. Every employee there was super friendly and very professional. My group of three ate at the bar and the young lady who served us was very friendly. My stepdad and I ordered the crab stuffed grouper. This was a special and not a menu item. My stepdad commented that if it were a permanent menu item he'd go there once a week. It was 10 out of 10 good. The grouper was cooked perfectly and the crab stuffing was more crab than filler. I frequent Florida where fresh grouper is readily available, and this was the very best grouper dish I've ever had. It came with two sides and bread for less than $30. I'd have paid $50 and been happy. My mother ordered gnocchi with meatballs. Generous portion that resulted in her taking half home. She's very in tune with Italian food and absolutely loved it. They have daily and lunch specials, and incredibly accommodating staff, and absolutely great food. I will be returning sooner than later. If you want a great meal without the fine dining frills, I'd encourage you to give Rose Villa a try. They also make their own deserts and specialize in house made pies. I'm not a desert guy, but my other guests got a slice of pie to go and both raved about how good they were. 10/10 recommendation!

Had out of town guests visit me in AKRON. We planned to go out for a nice dinner. So, after asking…read morethem what they were in the mood for, there was only ONE CHOICE on my favorites list that hit all the "hungrys". Off to ALEXANDER PIERCE. When we arrived at the well lit parking lot, we entered and were greeted supurbly by manager and host and seated. We had BRITANY as our server / bartender. From start to stop she was spot on. Never rushed us, explained all their evening features from appetizers, dinners and desserts. The menu covers all that you can possibly desire. Angus steaks, fresh and overly portioned seafood, to delicious pastas. We all ordered a wide variety of meals. The SURF, SURF AND SURF was amazing . So were the SHORT RIBS. I had the twin bone PORK CHOP. Huge, flavorful and never disappoints. Almost forgot, the smokey bourbon old fashions, created right at the table. We got the tour after dinner by Jess, the manager. She shiowed us all the attributes to this Akron gem. The Barrell dining room, the Vault, Screen Suites, the Coat Room lounge and adjoining Parlor room. Then even the new Culinary room where they have classes on how to cook various dishes at scheduled times taught by a Chef. If you are any where near Akron, this is a must try. If you live in Akron, this should become your weekly treat. Akron has many choices in fine restaurants, but there is only one ALEXANDER PIERCE !

We couldn't have picked a better place to celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary! The entire staff went out of their way to make us feel special, greeting us with anniversary wishes, and our table was adorned with rose petals. Our waiter, Jake, provided exceptional, attentive service all evening. He recommended the calamari misto to start, which was amazingly tender. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his lobster bisque and the flavorful George's Bank sea scallops. My warm bacon spinach salad and lobster pasta were equally stellar. I truly enjoyed the homemade noodles, rich lobster, spinach, and sun-dried tomatoes blended together beautifully. (I was busy eating and forgot to take photos!!) Coupled with great wine and a complimentary champagne toast for our anniversary, it was a memorable evening from start to finish (plus a delicious slice of cheesecake to enjoy at home!). Highly recommended, especially for special occasions!
