A few months ago during the evening, I stopped by this gas station to fill up and needed to use the restroom. The guy working there had just given the bathroom keys to a couple of girls, and when they came out, we politely asked for the key since we also needed to use the restroom. He looked at us and said, "Bathrooms are for employees only!" -- then turned right back to chatting with the same girls who had literally just used it. There are two restrooms -- one was blocked by a rack of food items, and the other was locked. There's even a big sign on the wall that says "Bathrooms", so I'm not sure why they'd have that if customers aren't actually allowed to use them. Just saying. Even if their policy really is "employees only," there was no reason for the worker to have such a rude attitude. I wasn't being disrespectful -- just asking a simple question. I had a bad experience at this location in apple valley, CA on dale evans parkway. me and my husband were driving from Vegas to Los Angeles and we decided to make a pit stop to get some gas and a few cold sodas. Nice new addition to our town. Ice cream counter is cool (or cold ), going to test deli next, store has little bit of everything, But, not very happy about cash versus credit. The rule there is "cash versus plastic". A lot of other stations place debit same as cash. But not here. If you want the lower price you require green dead presidents. read more

Hello Yelpers, So my kids and I are at this 76 station right now and I have to say, we've received exceptional service from Susan and Doug!! The employees here are so friendly and funny. They serve Thrifty ice cream. My kids both ordered a banana split. The prepping area is extremely CLEAN along with the rest of the store. This brand new gas station is clean and free of solititators! Not many gas stations feel safe in Apple Valley, this one is clearly lit and free from people begging for money. Which is rare in this area. They have a beautiful car wash and take out food. Staff is very professional and take pride in thier beautiful facility. Best looking and safest in the desert. read more

I would've gave it zero stars but then it would not have written my review. Went in fueled up $65 worth of fuel bought a $10 ultimate carwash the code was invalid had to go through the wash inside the store request a new code they gave me a new code put that code in water squirted out and then stopped the car wash just stopped working. Went back inside and Record proceeds to tell me you're the only one having a problem like I'm lying about not getting a car wash. Like I want to keep going into the store on several occasions to ask for assistance to get my $10 car wash. Nobody wanted to help me told me to come back tomorrow for a refund didn't bother to take my name my number so that the person tomorrow would know that I did not get a car wash. Then the clerk proceeds to say are you sure you didn't get your car washed I asked him to come out and look at my car and you tell me if it looks like it got washed it's not like I'm gathering up car wash codes. Went after seeing a facebook ad showing E85 fuel at $1.85 on June 28, 29, and 30. The pump showed the price as being $2.89, so I assumed the discount would be taken at the end of the transaction. When I checked my receipt, I ended up being charged the full $2.89. This was on Sunday, June 30th at 5:30pm, so according to the advertisement, I was within the promotional period. When I went inside and asked the front clerk, he referred to a copy of the ad in which they had written "11am-5pm" in sharpie onto the ad. They told me there was nothing they could do. Again, the advertisement that I had seen online showed no time period for this price. Upset at how the management changed their promotional price after they had published their ads. read more

Gas prices are a rip off. $3.09 a gal. for cash, then they charge you $3.29 gal for debit. That's .20 cents per gal for using your debit card. Never going again. Just got charged $3.00 f**ing dollars for 15 gal of gas. read more

This gas station is not only a gas station it's an icecream shop they sell thrifty icecream.they have this little bucket for 3$ you can fill it with any flavor I loved it bought 5 the guy that helped us was very nice good place to come and chill in a hot day.I will be back I came for the ice cream not the gas. Attended their grand opening on Saturday 7/29/2019. It was a total cluster. Noone knew what they were doing. I waited in a long line for gas. We were lined up on the streets some people started forming another line from the parking lot and crowding in from there. They had 2 girls at the pumps who were more interested in talking to each other than directing the patrons. Still I waited. When I was about 4th back in line 6 pumps came empty and Noone moved toward them. I approached the cars ahead of me and asked if they were going to get gas or what. Still Noone moved. I asked the attendants if the pumps worked and they said yes. I pulled up to one of the empty pumps..mind you there were still 4 cars in front of me and 5 more empty pumps. A black lady who was not a cop but had a gun and uniform approached me and said I just ed the line and needed to go back onto the street and wait again. I asked her I did not jump the line and pointed out to her that there were still enough open pumps to accommodate the other cars ahead of me. She must have been blind in one eye and couldn't see out of the other..also deaf in one ear and couldn't hear out of the other or had the intelligence God gave a retarded field mouse cause she just couldn't see, hear or figure out the situation ...so I left and I own a few vehicles but would pay higher prices before I would ever go back.
