I wanted a silk press and the instructors are making efforts to ensure all students know how to do a proper silk press. Taya was my student stylist and it was her first day back in the floor. Poor girl had me as a client to welcome her back lol. My hair is thick and plentiful! It took some time to get the blow dry right but fortunately the instructor was there to provide ample guidance. Taya's flat iron skills were already on point, so fortunately that part was smooth sailing. All in all my hair came out amazing and I left a satisfied client. Tory, whose hair looked like what I wanted on my head, asked me questions about what I wanted, played with my hair, talked about styles, products, and our dogs, then worked her magic. Trinh worked her magic and in about 2 hours and ONE session I got my hair to the color I wanted. I liked her technique and how she applied the color in layers and gave it depth.
