Online booking was very simple & straightforward, which I prefer to calling in for an appointment. I arrived at the office first thing the morning of my appointment & found it to be clean, discreet & well appointed. Upon my initial consultation, Stephanie listened carefully & thoughtfully to my concerns & proposed a multi step treatment plan to accomplish my goals while remaining sensitive to the costs involved, too. At this initial consultation I happened to mention some unrelated symptoms I had been dealing with. Stephanie suggested I get my hormone levels checked because my symptoms were indicative of a hormonal imbalance. Stephanie was willing to write the order to have the requisite labs drawn, something neither my PCP or GYN had been willing to do to date. My symptoms had gone largely dismissed by my healthcare team for several years, which was incredibly frustrating. Sure enough, when the results came back, I was depleted in necessary hormones that correlated with the symptoms I was experiencing. She's now located inside Primary Walk-In center on Warren Ave in East Providence. Very convenient from 195 and plenty of parking. I will have at least a few more sessions on my face with her, but by now it's mostly finishing up a process I thought would take years. The pain of the laser isn't so bad (she's got those squishy stress balls, yeah they help), she's quick, makes sure you're lotioned up to ease the soreness afterwards (at least for face treatments), and makes paying and scheduling effortless. Desiree was very knowledgeable about the service and explained in detail exactly what the treatment was, and how my textured oily skin would benefit from the treatment. I am not sensitive when it comes to pain, so Desiree explained the different levels of microneedling and before trying the highest setting, she tested my tolerance. I gave Desiree permission to go a little aggressive on my skin, and yet she was still very gentle. After my session, I immediately noticed a difference in my skins texture. When I first called and talked to Tara, I thought she was so sweet. She needed to book me three…read moreweeks out which she knew was longer than I wanted to wait. She said she may have an appointment a week and a half earlier and she'd follow up and let me know. I never heard from her. A week prior to the appointment that was booked, I realized that my kids happened to be off from school that day. I called and left a message asking if it was OK if I brought them (COVID, capacity restrictions, etc.). I asked for a call back either way. Nothing. Today I packed up my kids, activities and all so they'd behave, and drove to the office. I called when I got in because the door was shut and the shade on the window was down. Five minutes later the lights went off in the office but no one came out. I called again. Nothing so we all packed back up and left. It's been a frustrating and disappointing experience. There's a point where there's a lack of organization and customer service that seems somewhat narcissistic. This might be there.
