I had my consult with the secretary because the laser tech was in an appointment, I would have rather met the actual tech. I bought a package for the bikini area. At the appointment, I noticed that the tech did not outline the area to be covered. I told the tech I wanted to keep a "racing strip", which I had cut short but did not shave off. The tech told me not to open my legs!? So I sat with knees in bent position and the crease didn't get any laser. She started in a back and forth row pattern on the top left side but then did a brisk pulse down the labia. On the right ride, the tech (Lynn) did not do a "row" pattern and just lasered random spots. Then she hit my racing strip with two pulses and now I have two circular bald spots!!! I'm livid! She didn't pay attention to detail at all. The labia area and crease had zero effect at all. Probably because it was not done thoroughly. Do not go to Skinsational for laser hair removal treatment!

This was for three cool sculpting sessions I spent over $5,000 on a treatment that was completely ineffective. When I asked the med spa to consider a partial refund, there was no willingness to discuss it--instead, I was pressured to purchase additional treatments. When I requested a full refund, I was told that results were "not guaranteed." I have filed a report with the Rhode Island Attorney General's Consumer Affairs Division because I believe the marketing surrounding these services is misleading. I hope others read this and avoid wasting their time and money as I did. As an aside, the doctor also provided three sessions of Emsculpt, which were equally ineffective--I get a better workout doing regular crunches.

I informed her that our coupons had now expired but she said it was perfectly fine. As we were booking the appointments, she suddenly said "oh, I''m sorry, we can't take your expired Groupon". Someone there was telling her that they wouldn't honor it. I have had Groupons expire before and I am fine with whatever the business says, but in this particular case, it's the business that canceled our appointments and our Groupons were not expired on that original date. I guess it's a sign, but I also think this is poor business practice, and for her to go from a very cheery "yes we can take your expired Groupon" to, "oh sorry, we can't honor it" in a matter of seconds speaks volumes of their complete lack of professionalism. Oh, did I mention that the Groupon expired on March 24, 2026 and I tried to reschedule with it on March 26, 2026. Two whole days!!! Of course we have to respect the decision of the business, but really!!! You are on Groupon because you are trying to increase business, or at least that's how I believe it works, and this is how you conduct business with potential future clientele. Oh well! Parking is horrible down in the area where they are located anyway.
