She asked me what my short term and long term goals were for my skin and she was very thorough in explaining what each item was that she applied to my face! She uses a combination of high tech equipment and effective cleansers and moisturizers that cleared up my pesky acne scars that wouldn't go away! I came to her because of her social media, all of her pictures made me believe that she was a good esthetician , She did chemical treatments one right after the other one which caused hypepigments , on top of HydraFacial and dermaplaning which is another form of exfoliation to the point that the layers of my skin became so thin and sensitive . I didn't know I was supposed to wait 4-5 weeks and she made me come back to back . Maddie is simply a godsend; she's extremely knowledgeable and passionate in her profession. She helped create my AM and PM routine, and the results are easily noticeable. Please tread lightly with using this esthetician. I wanted to treat myself to a nice facial and had been following Beyond Beauty for sometime. I took a leap and booked my appointment. The service was good and we did all these treatments. Only thing that was weird to me was I like to be informed as the facial is going on what's the purpose why you are doing what you are doing. She left the room for some time when she did the LED therapy (which she said for 5 min only and it was for sure longer than that. Not sure if that was damaging to my skins as I'm not sure how long that should treatment should last. A week goes by and noticed purging happening which I was okay with and is pretty normal. It seem to get worse as weeks past and wasn't getting better and I was concerned as I wasn't sure what I was doing wrong. I reached out and she said she would reach back. Never heard back. She did have some personal matters so I was understanding. I reached out recently via DM she responded immediately and asked that I send her my current skin care products. Never heard anything after this. I Just want to share my experience. Don't Believe the hype of social media. I'm currently trying to heal my skin as I've got all this texture on my face and crazy breakouts. I get hormonal breakouts during my cycle but nothing compared to what's happening to my face now. I went to see Maddy at Beyond Beauty and got microdermabrasion. My face feels like a baby's butt forreal. It's sooooo smooth!! Maddy is so sweet and communicative! She says she's specialized in working with people who are undergoing cancer treatment and have really sensitive skin. She researched all the products I am currently using to give me recommendations. It's like having your own beauty-best-friend. Like other reviewers, my favorite part of the facial was the cryo globes that helped calm down my skin after the microdermabrasion. I think I'm going to buy some of my own and use them at home by keeping them in the freezer. Please give her a try and don't get turned off by the generic bland office building. I'm writing this review as a warning for everyone that is looking to receive a facial from "beyond beauty esthetics" , I myself am a medical aesthetician, working amongst dermatologist in Tampa FL, I'm going out my way to write this review for a prior client of mine Roxana, that called me panicking and seeking for help. After her terrible experience that was handled so unprofessionally (which you will find her review and pictures on a recent review here) , she moved from Florida to Texas and bought a package of 3 hydrofacials on top of chemical peels and dermaplaning . To make this as short as possible with important information everyone should know about. You should never receive an advance skincare service back to back they should be always spread out between 4-5 weeks, because that can cause scaring, broken capillaries, hyperpigmentation and more from over exfoliation and the chemical peels. Roxana was receiving all these treatment within 2 months . After one hydrofacial a good aesthetician will book your second hydrofacial 4-5 weeks after your first one with no other facials in-between. Not only is this poor aesthetician is incompetent, she had Roxana come in for back to back hydrofacials on top of chemical peels . The aesthetician even perform dermaplaning before her hydrofacial which dermaplaning is another form of exfoliation. When Roxana emailed me her pictures I was dumbfounded in what I saw. She had broken inflamed skin , Hives, massive breakout, milia including calluses on her face from so much friction, all of this over exfoliation also was thinning the layers of her skin. She was told by the service provider to "ice it" which ice only helps inflammation nothing else. The owner also "service provider" couldn't acknowledge her mistakes and couldn't comfort her client by apologizing and compensating her at least. while I'm not surprised she obviously didn't learn much from school. Coming from a medical Aesthetician that truly goes above and beyond for her clients. Please be careful and take the time to look for Roxana's review. Anyone can pay for "marketing and IG followers" to make themselves look like their great aesthetician results speak for itself . So please be careful. This kind of service is never okay and it's never the clients fault always remember that. read more
