I don't know if all prosthetic providers do this, but Beyond Prosthetics new manufacturer built me a custom-fit CROW boot, but before my specialist could examine and approve the boot, I had to pay $1600. Long story short, the boot will never fit me without causing ulcers and I was dismissively told "just lose weight and it might fit". My surgeon and I were both frustrated and angry, he offered me an off-the-shelf boot that fit perfectly and only cost $70. Brian, you are great, your supplier is creepy and getting rich without responsibility. DO NOT PAY BEFORE YOUR SPECIALIST CAN APPROVE THE DEVICE!!! read more

I remember having foot problems at the age of 9 and I began seeing different podiatrists, orthopedic surgeons, and shoe stores to get custom-made orthotics. None of these orthotics helped alleviate my pain and my feet kept collapsing. About 5 years later, I booked an appointment with Brian. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. I was referred to Beyond Prosthetic thru the VA. Brian made both my temp and perm leg prosthetic. I was a bit of a problem child getting a correct fit with the permanent prosthetic. Seems I had what Brian believed was a nerve bundle close to the surface after shrinkage (never a good thing for a guy). For me it felt like I was hit by a foul tip or line drive right to the shine. Brain listen to me as to type of pain and where it was located. Brain form a pocket in my prosthetic to relieve the pressure, pain is gone. I've just past 500 miles walking with Brian legs. Currently the only problem I have is weakness in my legs cause by my inability to walk for a few years. Brian is the best! His staff ain't bad, either. My sister is 6 yrs post-stroke, and is hemiplegic on her right side, and aphasic in speaking--she understands just fine. Her old foot/calf brace was causing a lot of pain, and wasn't being terribly useful anyways. Brian charges ONCE. He happily makes any adjustments to the aids that he makes, and his observation skills are top-notch. After trying three times to make the first brace work better, he started all over again. This time he watched how my sister rose, stood, and moved her right leg, and understood what he'd done wrong, and fixed it as best he could, given that she really needs some PT that Medicare won't cover, and I can't either, and we're waiting on Medicaid, which will. After she gets the therapy, she may have to have a new one made, because now, her right foot is really trying to be a club foot, strongly turning inward. I'd like to suggest if you need more than one return visit for additional adjustment, that you bring the office a little something nice to show that you value what they do. They're always willing to help us with doors, and you're likely to be offered a small bottle of water (more if you want). The below has nothing to do with Brian: The building itself has some ADA issues--the elevator needs replacement, building entry doors are not powered/motion sensitive, there are darned few handicapped spots (3) for a **medical offices** building, and none of them are suitable for vans or wheelchair access. In a building with five or more offices that see mobility-limited patients, a mere three narrow handicapped spots is ludicrous. Try 10-12, with at least 4 van accessible. If you are trying to get a non-motorized wheelchair into the building, it's dicey because most arms are not longer than the wheelchairs, and thus can't easily manage the entry doors, which open out, per fire safety regs. read more

Brian has been working with me for almost 3 years now since I was involved in an auto accident that left me with a badly broken right ankle, that eventually needed to be fused. His expertise in prosthetic design and fitting made learning to walk again much easier than it would have been without him. He works closely with my orthopedic surgeon, and always listens to my concerns, experiences and needs when custom making my braces, of which there have been several. He is unfailingly supportive, and clearly gives a great deal of thought to what will work best for me as an individual. He also listens and considers any suggestions I might have, even the ones that won't work! He and his staff know the insurance requirements and how to ease authorizations through the system so that I was able to get what I needed when I needed it. I wouldn't go to anyone else! Awesome Service!!! We couldn't be happier with Brian and the office staff. We were referred to Brian by my son's orthopedic doctor for his orthotics. My son has been wearing orthotics for over 3 years now but never found true relief. However now that we went to Brian my son is walking so much better with much less discomfort. Awesome customer service I wish most places treated you as nice as this place does. He even found a German brace for her which is a hard find. My gf, my dog, and I felt welcomed and I knew this place was going to be great because the man leaves Reese pieces candy in the lobby, not in a jar but in individual bags. I was referred by my Orthopedic doctor, Abidi for an orthotic fitting. I made the first appt with Brian. He took the impressions of my feet and let me know it would be after Christmas before the product would be available. I finally got a call from Matt and I scheduled the follow up for the fitting. As the other reviewers said Brian took the time to work on my orthotics until he got it just right and still he let me know if they weren't right to call him for follow up. I wore them for several weeks and returned to have one side built up per the doctor. Brian, again was patient and worked tirelessly in spite of the fact he was very busy. He made me feel as if I was the only one in his office. Before leaving that day I decided to order a second set of orthotics. I received those a few weeks later and Brian again took the time and waited until I felt they were just right.
