When I picked up the insoles, the receptionist scheduled my fitting appointment for **over three months later**, telling me that we could schedule as many fitting appointments as needed within a year. I trusted what I was told. A few days before the appointment, I called to reschedule, only to be told there was no appointment in their system.I was confused because I had scheduled it in person. The employee even commented that there was "a reason" the previous receptionist no longer worked there. I was then transferred to a supervisor. Instead of acknowledging the scheduling mistake, she repeatedly told me that the complimentary fitting was only available within three months of pickup and that I should have read the paperwork more carefully. The problem? The receptionist never explained that policy to me--and apparently scheduled an appointment outside that very deadline. If the fitting truly had to happen within three months, why would your employee schedule me for an appointment beyond that timeframe? They then claimed there wasn't even an appointment scheduled. UH...WHAT?? The supervisor never apologized or took responsibility. I was simply told that if I wanted the fitting now, I would have to pay for an office visit. I understand having policies, but when your own employee gives incorrect information and *makes* the appointment, the customer shouldn't be blamed for it. **Terrible communication, terrible customer service, and zero accountability. Would not recommend.**

As a resident I will agrée that as individuals the staff is made up many wonderful people who are very caring and possess an incredible amount of Patience! Especially when considering how overworked and underpaid they are. As a result there's a high turnover. My issues were with the administration and, or, administrative staff and their policies. I missed an appointment with my neurosurgeon because social services failed to make Transportation arrangements as a promised they would do. The on staff doctor assured me that he would make a girl to a local neurosurgeon for me and I never heard that word from him again don't matter. I express the desire to apply for IHSS home Care service for whenever it will be released that never happened. In fact everything they told me they would do they didn't including sending my prescription information to the Walgreens I requested they send them to. Nurse assured me that she had already done it as I was leaving it's true down to be completely false. The beautiful swimming pool for physical therapy was one of the main attractions to me to choose this location come to find out it is only available for outpatient physical therapy and hasn't been filled with water since covid 19 in 2022.

The responsiveness of the nurses and CNAs insured I was well taken care of since I could not get up to do anything on my own. The Occupational and Physical Therapy teams were top notch - they really know their field and made sure I was well educated on my own care once I was released home. Instead of providing a clear rehabilitation plan, setting measurable goals, and actively working through obstacles, there was often little guidance on how patients could advance toward recovery. Equally concerning, the physicians appeared reluctant to provide clear medical opinions regarding therapy needs, rehabilitation potential, and the most appropriate path to recovery, despite being in the best position to guide these decisions. A rehabilitation facility should be focused on problem-solving, collaboration, and helping patients achieve the highest level of independence possible. Unfortunately, our experience reflected a lack of leadership, coordination, and commitment to patient progress.

I don't know if all prosthetic providers do this, but Beyond Prosthetics new manufacturer built me…read morea custom-fit CROW boot, but before my specialist could examine and approve the boot, I had to pay $1600. Long story short, the boot will never fit me without causing ulcers and I was dismissively told "just lose weight and it might fit". My surgeon and I were both frustrated and angry, he offered me an off-the-shelf boot that fit perfectly and only cost $70. Brian, you are great, your supplier is creepy and getting rich without responsibility. DO NOT PAY BEFORE YOUR SPECIALIST CAN APPROVE THE DEVICE!!!
