Both classes were led by Barbara and Corgi, who were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and relatable. From the moment we walked in, they made everyone feel comfortable and welcome. What I appreciated most was how interactive the classes were. They encouraged lots of questions and really engaged with the group, which made the experience feel personal rather than overwhelming. They struck the perfect balance of being informative while keeping things fun and lighthearted. So much information can be stressful but the way it was presented was easy to digest. I loved doing it with my partner and think it was such a great way to get him more involved in this process that can lean so heavily on the mom. Beyond just the classes, The Pump Station offers so much! Mommy and Me, classes for Grandparents, Car Seat Installation, Stroller consultation. They also have a great gift store and registry program! I will absolutely be signing up for Mommy & Me classes and love supporting a small business who put so much love and care into what they do.

More importantly, their website said the stroller I wanted was in stock and available in 4 hours for pickup, but when I got there it wasn't available for purchase and it had to be ordered. When I brought it up to the cashier, he said it was because they have it in store their inventory but not at the store? Huh?? After doing more digging I saw there was a "Terms and conditions" asterisk in fine print you have to click on to find out this information. All I saw was the green check mark that says "In stock and ready for pick up in 4 hours." Any other place I have ever been to- this would mean it would be in stock at the store. When I brought up, calmly, that this was confusing and they should fix it because I drove two hours to get to the store. The cashier said nothing. Not a "Aw geez, I'm sorry. I can understand your frustration and why that's confusing." I'm a reasonable person. I've worked in customer service all my life. The demeanor of the cashier alone has put me off from ever visiting this store again or recommending it. We went to Uppababy a few blocks down and they were SOOO kind that it completely made my day. All I needed was some kindness. To the owners of the Pump Station- the people using your website are most likely VERY tired moms. I personally am getting 3-4 hours of sleep a day. Tired moms need clear signage if something is in stock or not. Time is precious in this season of life. We also need KINDNESS. My body is broken and recovering from giving birth. I am exhausted! I would expect a place who sells baby items to understand this. Overall, would never recommend this place and will tell everyone I know that it was an awful experience.

At some point in my first pregnancy I gave up trying to look nice because the process of finding clothes I liked and felt good in was so disappointing. I figured that wearing cute outfits was just one more thing I would have to give up in pregnancy. This shopping trip made me feel like myself again! The clothes were all soft, high quality and flattering. The staff (especially Heniya) is warm, helpful and so supportive, and really made this trip special. Heniya correctly guessed my size for me by sight when I asked, and put tons of stuff in my dressing room while I was shopping. When I didn't like an item she thanked me for transparency and helped me find something better. Even though I'd expected "Beverly Hills" prices, it was reasonable and then an unexpected sale cut most of my choices in half price-wise, so it was much less than I've spent on maternity in the past! I've purchased clothes from this brand online, but it was totally different coming in and shopping in person and I'm so glad I did. I got a bunch of nice pieces I'm excited to wear. I will definitely be going back!

Everything they carry is very luxe, high end brands and most of the materials seemed to be organic. The sales person was really nice and answered all of our questions. I walked in and the sales woman was helping the only other customer in the store. She never once acknowledged my presence in the 15mins I stood there with my hands full of items. All of my excitement was gone... I put my items down and left. And of course that wasn't acknowledged either. I'm extremely sad and disappointed. Luckily there are other amazing baby stores on this street so I was able to find the cutest things - and they were HAPPY to assist me!

This way we wouldn't get fooled and controlled like we were! You might like her pics online but... Please take the time to read our entire experience ( see pictures followingthe numbers, because yelp mixed all the pictures) with Diana Hinek. We were not sure about hiring Diana's service at all because $3000 it is/was steep for us. We had to save up for all the other expenses we're going to encounter w/ a newborn, private midwife, pregnancy expenses, the fact I wasn't able to work and my husband's job was going to get hit hard by COVID . She offered us a 'maternity photoshoot' included on her price package (I really wanted), so we used our emergency savings, signed the contract and paid in full by the 36th week of pregnancy just as she asked us. Because of Covid, around April/May of 2020 we didn't want to risk going out in public to do the maternity photos, baby as expected for mid-May, Diana then offered us to exchange for a newborn session and we accepted. The home delivery was nothing we expected. We had to get transferred to the hospital in a state of emergency. Diana wasn't able to come with us inside of the hospital, (understandable) so she offered to do a video of all 3 of us and a few more pictures at our home as soon as we were back and ready. I had a complicated delivery; I could barely walk for many days so we got in touch with her 2 weeks after we arrived home. She came to our home and without consulting us she already came up with a plan. She was going to film us narrating all the facts starting when we got transferred to the hospital and then she would make a video clip with the pics/video footage she took it, the ones my husband took it in the delivery room and match the audio with the images to have a story with beginning, middle and end. We didn't like the idea much and we were absolutely not ready to be looking at a camera lens to tell what happened, the whole thing was a bit traumatic, but she insisted the results would be good so we end up agreeing with her. We were concerned about syncing our voices with the images and footage since we were narrating in Spanish and Portuguese. She told us not to worry about it because she understood Spanish (she's Italian) her husband understood Portuguese (he's French I believe) and he would help her syncing our history to the images showing on the video. Ok then, we trusted her. After her visit we started having some issues with our son, we spent a lot of time going to pediatrician offices and emergency rooms. It was hard to make an appointment for the newborn photoshoot, we had to cancelled twice. One of the times we had to cancel without giving her too many days of notice, the priority it was/is my baby health!!! (We need to be clear here, because that wasn't a priority for Diana). After that, there the problems started!!!!! We were expecting to be able to choose the pictures we wanted so she can edit and add to the video. Also, the presentation, the music, the style of the editions, and the voice over we recorded, etc. Exactly like you do for a wedding or any type of photography job. For our surprise we weren't able to choose the song for the video! I was able only to say that I like, Andrea Bocelli and Bach, and she said that she would see how would work because of the song has to filled the full length of the video. !

Natalie's experience and calm/comforting demeanor were invaluable from the first night she came to work with us. As first time parents navigating the chaos of the first few weeks postpartum, we benefitted greatly from her guidance on all things newborn - feeding, pumping, soothing/swaddling techniques, bathing, and introductory newborn sleep principles. Without her guidance, it likely would have taken my husband and I weeks or months to figure out newborn cues and behavior. She is a natural with babies and could always sense what our baby needed - he was always calm in her arms. Towards the end of her time with us, he was sleeping longer stretches during the night which was incredible progress after the first few weeks. In addition to supporting us with newborn overnight care, Natalie also helped with baby laundry and washing bottles/pump parts. It was a relief waking up every morning to clean laundry, bottles, and pump parts. Natalie was also instrumental in establishing my breastfeeding journey - I think I would have given up if it weren't for her guidance and support. She spent hours providing guidance and teaching me principles on breastfeeding that I didn't receive anywhere else. Lastly, Natalie is a talented massage therapist - her postpartum services included weekly postpartum massages/foot soaks. Each weekly session was truly a gift that helped with my recovery after childbirth. Hiring Natalie was one of the best decisions we made to navigate the postpartum period.
