One of my favorite things about traveling in Europe (particularly Germany) is the prevalence of Turkish doner kebab stands, which are far more delicious than our beloved halal food carts. I'd always been really frustrated that I can't find any kebab in the US that tastes like the stuff you get in Europe, until I found this place. The chicken doner sandwich here is AWESOME and is served with remarkably fresh tomatoes, cabbage, and lettuce, with the red and white sauces just like they serve over the Atlantic (these are not the same as the "hot sauce / white sauce" of halal food fame). If I am ever in Brighton Beach (not often) I make it a point to stop here. So good. read more

When I arrived they took my money but didn't bother to check if my order was ready and just told me to wait. 20 minutes later I asked if my order was ready and guess what? It's been ready since I arrived and I waited for no reason. They should be checking for orders after you pay... and of course my food is cold after I get home to eat it. read more

One of my favorite Turkish joints around this area. Some items are the menu are pricy (Mixed grill and gyro), however, the food is well worth the price. I come here with my family every now and they have not failed to deliver. Although I've already stated that it is pricy, I would definitely recommend the mixed grill above all else. Such a great place! We were just waiting for a friend in front of this place and suddenly a hand with a sample of chicken appeared. And the kids loved the chicken, so they made me to go inside. I got falafel (vegan) and it was one of the best I've ever had, came with a lot of veggies and wasn't dry at all. When we're walking back to the train again, we just waved at the panel and got offered free coffee. Made our day at beach even more gorgeous! Both the service and the food was awesome! read more

It's downscale, with fluorescent lights and diner tables, but really good meats, and big portions at low prices. I like the doner, sliced off the rotating meat wheel, plus rice and (iceberg lettuce) salad for $11. Add $3 and get a big mound of chicken to boot. For drinks, there are some interesting Turkish drinks along with the sodas and iced teas. I'm really fond of the sour cherry drink they have, that I haven't seen anywhere else. If you have room for dessert, the baklava comes in 4 pieces, that I ate all by myself. read more

I've eaten in the restaurant before and I've always had a great experience. Today I ordered via seamless. Seamless gives you an estimated delivery time, my order was delivered 20 minutes after the estimated time. When I took the food out of the bag, the soup cover came off. The lid was not closed probably and caused the soup to spill on the other food. Besides that, the food is delicious! read more

I just spent a day working on the ASPCA's mobile spay/neuter van, which was parked right in front of this place. Being a lover of gyros, souvlaki, and middle eastern food, I instinctively went in. The guy at the counter was super nice, and informed me that their gyros were great (although a display case full of all kinds of kebabs, skewered on mini steel swords looked tempting). I got a lamb gyro and a chicken gyro. Each came stuffed w/ delicious gyro meat and let/tom/onion toppings w/ a side of white yoghurt-based (tzadiki) sauce and also a side of Harissa type red hot pepper sauce. I finally found a turkish restaurant that is almost as good as Angora in Medford. Take the B or Q to Brighton Beach to find this gem in a most unusual neighborhood. The shepard salad is fresh and excellent. You must try it! The kebabs are pretty good, my only complaint is that the portion of meat is small, especially for 13 bucks! I usually order the lamb kebab and doner. They have both lamb and chicken doner. They are both nicely spiced and marinated. They are generous with bread as well. Don't expect fancy decor in this establishment. It has more of a pizzeria feel to it. read more

This place has gone downhill and continues so. I used to love it, and ordered from here for delivery on MANY occasions. I am done ordering from here. Last 3 times each, they completely forgot to include multiple items that we ordered, including 2 main entree wraps. It got so frustrating to having to deal with their incompetent staff who cant take a simple order over the phone that it is just not worth ordering from there. Their prices are pretty high, but service is terrible. In addition, they give you one tiny plastic cup of white sauce that is barely quarter full for a big platter that you order, and charge you for additional white sauce, and they watered down their white sauces. Even though the staff is really friendly this is not a place for vegans. Their hummus and breads have milk in them so something like a falafel wrap or veggie sandwich which you would think is safe isn't the falafel is salty fyi. read more

I have eaten here a few times, this time I ordered the lamb shish rice dish. It was fine, the lamb tasted good the rice was very watery. I asked for some water and they gave me a bottle of water. I just wanted some tap water and they told me they don't give tap. This is not true since I saw ppl with glasses of water and no bottles. OMG! This restaurant has amazing food! I went a lot of Turkish restaurant but Beyti Turkish Kebab is the best! Servers take care me so well and they can speak several language fluently. I ordered Adana Gyro and lentil soup. The meat was thick and FRESH. It was the same Turkish food i have eaten when was in Turkey. Beyti has a lot to live up to, being located within 10 minutes of a million great turkish places, but they still manage to beat out the compeition. The sandwiches are the best I've had, whether you get Kofte, Adana Kebab, or a Gyro, they are perfectly stuffed with the right mix of fresh ingredients and seasonings. The cigar bread is a simple favorite that comes in a much larger portion than usual (6-8). The chocolate pudding with cocnut on top is TO DIE FOR and the hummus is top notch, none of that greasy imitation stuff. All in all, the food is excellent and very affordable; my girlfriend and I regularly order a feast for about $34. On a final note, just last weekend we called for delivery in the middle of a pounding thurnderstorm. The delivery guy was out at the time, but they didnt mention this and instead sent one of the cooks ON FOOT to our apartment. This is a level of service I have literally never experienced before in my life. Kudos to this place for getting you GREAT food at a GREAT price, no matter the cirumstances. read more

I do love getting the salmon kabob here along with their fresh baked bread which is done on premise. The lamb is very tender and at times get combination plates with lamb gyro. I took a friend here for her first time and she couldn't wait to come back another time. It can get crowded at times with warmer weather because beach crowds going to Brighton Beach. Which with that said if going to the area one can stop by to eat prior to going to boardwalk or walking towards Coney Island which is bit further but less expensive than eateries out by Coney Island. I have not eaten the chicken kabob or chicken wings, have tried the chicken gyro which was good but wasn't as great as the lamb gyro. When I have eaten the lamb gyro I tend to ask it a btoa ore toasted and they really give a nice hefty amount in your sandwich. At times you need to get your fork and eat away at it to be able get a mouthful, not that I'm complaining, just that good and that full. Plus you can ask for it in a wrap or in their baked bread which when out of the oven makes it taste that much better. Granted a few people gave low ratings but a person should just go and judge themselves read more
