I'm not from Germany, but the taste felt very authentic and close to Turkish-style döner, which made it even more special for me. While shopping, we got hungry and because this place had decent reviews, we stopped by. We ordered a wrap and salad -- Each had similar ingredients -- meat, vegetables, a bit of kick, and some sauce. I thought the salad was good and my husband said the wrap was as well. It's no frills with pick up and bring to open seating, but it quick, and they had a some good beverages to accompany it. It was my first time ordering from this chain and I went the safe route and got something that seemed most familiar: a chicken over rice bowl. While it was a solid bowl overall with all great ingredients and sauces, the main ingredient (the rice) was undercooked and hard. It could be that I went during closing time and their rice has been sitting there for a while, or they just don't know how to cook their rice since I see some other reviews saying the same thing. Please fully cook your rice!!! It ruins a whole bowl of perfectly good ingredients/toppings if the rice is too hard to chew or digest. I was excited to have visitors try here but despite the nice staff, the meat was given to them from a crock pot instead of from the spit causing their sandwiches to be dry and lack flavour. I took a special trip to Industry City in BK from Jackson Heights, Queens on January 3, 2022. After my grocery shopping at Sahadis and the Japanese grocery store at Japan Village, time to get my kebab fill at Kotti. I had my 'go to' Chicken Kebab sandwich. What made it great was Ali, the counter lady. She had great Customer Service. She was very short staff that day but she was still in great spirits. We had a good talk of my love of Germany. I went crazy eating Turkish food when I was there on my 2nd vacay in 2006. Will be back again soon. Like that they had indoor seatings because I didn't want to freeze my assets eating my kebab. read more

It's unfortunate that a Döner in NYC costs twice as much as the most I've ever paid in Germany including near Museum Island outside Hackescher Markt S Bahn station in Berlin (so more expensive than most places) just last month. I think we need Döner trucks. read more

Wanted to try something different in IC. Staff wasn't very friendly, but they had a doner slider for $5 so a great snack! We got all the toppings and they were tasty. We were so happy to come across the food stand version of this place at a street food fair across from the Macy's at Penn Station. We ordered the chicken on a Turkish bread. The bread was so amazing - crisp, fresh and delicious. The chicken was perfectly marinated with lots of different little veggies on top. The bread, sauce and chicken were all so great, making this chicken Mediterranean sandwich we've had. We definitely look forward to coming back the next time we are in New York! Finally tried this place which I had long bookmarked. Tucked away in Industry City, Brooklyn, but still open even on Sunday when a lot of restaurants in Industry City seem to close. I had chicken doner kebab and thoroughly enjoyed my choice. Coming in a generous portion, the bread was perfectly toasted, crunchy outside and chewy inside. Chicken was tender, nicely marinated and veggies fresh. My fav was the pickled red cabbage which added the perfect level of acidity and sweetness. $15 for a kebab is not quite what I would call a budget friendly meal, but it's in Industry City so you pay extra for the ambience. The salads were hearty and filled with tender chicken, complemented by an excellent array of dressings and sauces. We have met Erkan, the founder of Kotti, at his Saturday Smorgssburg Booth. He is really from Berlin and he brought the authentic taste of Berlin Döner with him. As a German I approve this! With big appetite try the Dürüm or the Sandwich. With small appetite try the cone. And there is even a very good veggie alternative with grilled veggies instead of rhe meat.
