No one wants their AC breaking down in the middle of summer, but that is exactly what happened to us. Luckily, I was able to find BG's on Yelp. I called and talked to Bernardo. He informed me that he didn't have availability for the same day service, but he told me that he could be there the next day. Bernardo was on time and super professional. He fixed our AC and got it back and running in less than two hours. Considering that this was an emergency situation his price was very reasonable. I can't say enough what great service and quality of work they offer not to mention their customer service. I had a waterline burst on New Year's Eve. On New Year's Day I called a few people and no one answered and I came across BG's. I called them and they answered and came to my house within an hour. The next day they came, and started the rerouting of my waterline using pex through the attic. Bernardo is very understanding of customers needs, their budget, and finding a way to meet both objectives price and quality. His prices are very competitive and not high at all. While he was here, he went above and beyond by checking my kitchen sink, which, believe it or not also had a leak. While he was here, he also fixed a toilet and one of the sinks in my guest. Restroom had very low water pressure and I had brought a few plumbers that couldn't find the reason. Bernardo found the issue and corrected it. I found BG's Plumbing and Rooter through other reviewers. I saved the business page because at the time I didn't need a plumber. Well it finally came in handy. My toilet got clogged and no matter what I did I couldn't unclog it. The plunger wasn't even working. I reached out to BG's the next morning (about 8am) and I got a response between 10-11am.. Bernardo the owner told me he could be there within 10-15 minutes. Unfortunately, I was at work, no one was home, so I pushed our appointment till 3 pm without issues. The plumber came out and under :30 minutes cleared the toilet. I'm sure it wasn't nothing too crazy from what it sounded like, but I was concerned because I had water coming out from under the toilet. That is another story. The total cost was $120. I'm sure labor and materials wasn't that much, but it's the standard cost of a call-out minimum. I was happy with the outcome. read more

Outstanding honest plumbers! Bernardo responded to my text immediately. We had a bathroom sink leak. He showed up the same day with Johana. They are both some of the most kind and honest individuals I've seen in this business. They not only fixed the leak, they educated me on the work being done so I understood exactly what needed to be fixed. There were two other minor things needing to be fixed and instead of charging me to do those little jobs, Bernardo explained how I could easily buy and install the parts to save me money! I called them to move a gas line for a new range because the current gas connection caused the range to stick out about 4 inches. They returned my call quickly and asked me to send photos to get an estimate over the phone. I sent them some photos and told them what I wanted. They texted me back a quote soon after. They showed up a few hours later and did the job quickly, while still making sure it was done correctly. They cleaned up after the job was completed and the range was finally able to fit nicely. I had gone without a water heater for a few days and already purchased a water heater, but could not install. I called up BG Plumbing and they responded right away with an available slot the next day. Cost of labor was very reasonable and made sense for the difficulty of replacing a 40 gallon water tank. Since it was so sudden, I was asked to help a bit and find the parts, though with my (and the hardware employee's) lack of knowledge I was unable to obtain the parts. Bernardo was cool with it and when he arrived, he and I went together and got the parts. Bernardo got the water tank replaced with no problems at all. I was there to offer help and as I was there, he explained all the steps he was taking to ensure that my new water tank would last, as well as educating me on what the parts of the tank were so I would be able to understand and maintain it for longevity. Bernardo is a great guy and did an awesome job. Like it says on his van, he got it done right the first time. I don't recommend this company. The owner/operator was quick to report in person to my residence to provide an estimate. However, the owner used improper equipment and poor safety procedures which ultimately resulted in physical damage to my home (aside from the original HVAC issue which was not willingly resolved). The owner blamed my "very clean floors" for the mishap, and then proceeded to throw an apparent temper tantrum when I merely asked if the estimate included a small discount for said damage. I even offered to repair the damaged areas myself if he paid for the materials which also resulted in more negative commentary from him. I've never seen someone act as childish in an industry which otherwise requires maturity and wisdom. Prior to this encounter, the water leak was seemingly contained in one distinct area; immediately after this encounter, the water leak became severe and rapidly expanded in other visible areas. Thankfully I had a reputable Orange County-based company handle it later, and they said whoever was up there last (hint, you know who), actually made things a lot worse. I will probably undertake legal action. read more

Called Bernardino to inquire about a pipe that was leaking under my roof on the side of my building, I had no idea what it was. He answers the phone himself and knew exactly what the problem was. They came out in just 40 minutes, creatively fixed the issue to they didn't have to pull the toilet off (went though the shower drain instead), removed the clog and had our bathroom up and running again in less than about 30 min. This couple is the best! It was so hot a few weeks ago I could not cook in my kitchen! My AC Unit finally crashed! Bernardo came to the rescue! He and his wife are a perfect team!
