I felt like I was dining at a the home of a free family and grandma was preparing the soup and lamb. The service was excellent from both waiters. The lemon chicken soup was A+, and the chicken and lamb we had was also great. My Greek salad dressing was fresh and the dressing was off the charts. N'Opa. We have had Greek food in very authentic restaurants from NY to the East coast of Florida. I'm sorry to say, this has been some of the least authentic, bordering on fast food. The Lamb Gyro sandwich was made with pre packaged meat strips. It was evident in the extremely consistent appearance of the meat strips and even more so in their taste. The Greek salad was mixed with a creamy white dressing. Very similar to a bottle of Kraft. Certainly not the light O&V and herb dressing that anyone familiar with Greek salad is accustomed to. Upon questioning the cook/owner repeatedly tried to justify it by saying the dressing was white because of the Feta cheese in it. What??? Certainly not what was expected especially after reading many positive reviews. Caveat emptor. read more

I hate to write a bad review, place has been here forever but my chicken pita was pretty bland. Very nice owner! I ordered just a glass of water and was charged for a bottle. While visiting Naples I was looking for something local, fast, and tasty; my gyro combo at Opa was just that: lots of lamb, cool tzatziki sauce, crispy fries, and an ice-cold drink. Gyro was delicious, prices were reasonable (by Naples standards), but sat at outside table for what seemed like an extraordinarily long time after ordering a sandwich and a salad before we got our food. Last night we had dinner and it was amazing! Being from South Florida I am a true foody and I have been to many Greek restaurants and this place, wow! I now live in Orlando area and have ate many places here as well. Well we walked in and no one was there and it is a hole in the wall so we were not sure if we wanted to stay but I am so pleased we did. You know it's usually the small ma and pa places that serve you their heart and soul. We had the appetizer sampler, gyros, musaka and baklava. 10 out of 10 for fresh and delicious. I wish we lived here this no doubt would be my weekly go to. I forgot to mention my daughter has severe food allergies and the chef was happy to come out and discuss in detail with us how it was safe for her to eat and he also plated our appetizer separately as to not cross contaminate. Many places can't be bothered. So thank you! Next time in Naples this will be our first stop. Wish I had taken more home for later! read more

Worst "Greek" food I've ever had in my life. I have ordered from here before and totally forgot how much I hated it. We ordered from here the other night not remembering our previous experience. Food has ZERO flavor. I've never been to a Greek restaurant with such plain tzatziki. No garlic no mint or dill nothing just plain. Chicken was completely flavorless. Greek salad came with Caesar dressing instead of Greek dressing and had no onion. Even the kalamata olives and the feta in the salad had no brine or tanginess. Watery tasting and flavorless. There were a few outdoor tables but not big enough for all 5 of us so we grabbed a table inside. Bottom line: 5 stars!! Outstanding service, excellent food, and really reasonable prices. Try the falafel appetizer if you can, it is absolutely spectacular. We did the gyro special for $7.95 and added salad and soda and it was delicious. I took most of mine home, and I can't wait to have it later. So happy. Nice family. We really enjoyed ourselves.
