The moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by the intoxicating aroma of Mediterranean spices--warm garlic, herbs, and fragrant seasonings that awakened my senses and excited my taste buds for what was to come. I ordered the Kufta Lamb Kabab served over basmati rice, along with a salad, a side of babaganoj, and pita bread. The lamb kabab was heavenly--succulent pieces of tender lamb infused with fragrant Mediterranean spices, creating a perfect balance of savory, smoky, and slightly earthy flavors. Each bite was incredibly flavorful and melted in my mouth. Everything about The Kabab Spot is fantastic. The food is consistently delicious, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is casual and relaxed. It's the kind of place that makes you want to come back again and again. I think 3 is a fair rating here. Food/flavor I'll give a 4. Might be being a little generous there but I'll stand by a 4 for the area (fort myers food tends to stink. Prices are a 2 lol. Buddy needs to check himself a bit. $13 for a large fry? $13 for a doctored up piece of cheesecake. Are we on 5th Ave or a whole in the wall? I saw that they had a social where they took shawarma, wrapped it in thins pita bread/ or naan bread, I forgot and basically made it a middle eastern burrito that was crunchy on the outside and oh so delicious on the inside. It was my wife, myself and our friend. We ordered three. It was a drink, fries and the shawarma. The food was insane and that's why it has 3 stars. If the food was bad, it would have one. So why only 3? No prices, I asked to pay before I got the food and they said, "don't worry. Eat first then pay." So we did. We had no idea that for 3 meals, it would be $73 or so dollars! So is the food delicious? Oh yeah. Is it worth it? Oh hedge no. Run. I was sucked into a cool's funny add they did on instagram and it's totally my fault. And I get it. The foods INSANE. Me and my wife went there the other day and honestly the food was great we got the mix without the chicken the lamb was amazing the beef was good but a little dry still very tasty but the lamb definitely worth going back the salad was fantastic the hummus was very good a tasted fresh all the sauces are good. 6 dollars to try them all might be a little high but definitely worth it at least once. Unfortunately not even the salad had enough of the citrus flavor expected in fattoush. The hummus needed salt. The garlic sauce tasted sour. I paid 14$ just for the one small cup of lentil soup which was more of a lentil puree. The shawarma had barely any flavor. The lamb kafta was probably the best of the proteins. I went to checkout the Kabab Spot restaurant and Hookah bar after work one day. I ordered a small order of their Hummus and I got a bottle of water.
