The building was clean and didn't take long to get signed in. They don't have change, which was one inconvenience but luckily there was a Kroger across the street I got change from! The nurse practitioner, Sherry, was very sweet and informative! She really seemed to know about ear infections and cared about my pains! She prescribed me medicine for pickup at my local pharmacy and she encouraged over the counter medicines I could also take! I appreciate the attentiveness she had. I will be back and I highly recommend this family clinic to anyone! They even had waters, juices and chips laid out for their patients. It was only $50 to be seen if you don't have insurance! I am fairly certain they forgot about me. I don't think it's unrealistic to expect to see a doctor when you visit a medical establishment, but there was not one on site and I was seen by a PA who basically gave me a shoulder shrug and that her degree didn't cover what I came in for. After about 4 calls this was the only place that even hinted they could work with me. I went with just my regular ID and they gathered my info and have been able to go to them at no cost since. I honestly don't know WHAT anyone is talking about the staff being un-professional because the 5-6 times I've gone now (even during the plague) they have always been very help full and professional. My fingers started to bleed profusely blood hitting every inch of my apartment. When I tried to run the finger under cold water it bled more and so I applied pressure for about 15 minutes and then my finger continued to bleed. I called my mom and I told her what happened She had recommended that I go to an urgent care. I looked up the nearest urgent Care and Next Level was only 9 minutes away. Not knowing if they'll take my insurance I was in route! As soon as I walked in I let them know my situation and let them know that I was high risk bleeder with the laceration. They immediately took me back without any hesitation! Mr Brian was professional and attentive making sure he had my insurance card in my driver's license to gather my demographics. He brought me bowl with soapy water and medication so I can soak my finger. Then Mrs Ana came into the room to assess my finger. And then I saw and briefly spoke with Ms. Karime who took my vitals. I received a tetanus shot today so I wouldn't get lockjaw. And then Ms. Ana began sewing up my finger with four stitches. She numbed the area with lidocaine to make sure that the area was numb before she started. She explained what the lidocaine was for and that it would be a little sting and a burn initially. She explained everything thoroughly so I wouldn't be in surprise. They treated me a lot better than any emergency room staff out of all my years of going to the hospital! The staff at Next level in Pasadena was extremely kind, patient, and and professional!!! They treated me a lot better than when I went to urgent care at Memorial Hermann in Friendswood last year. Because even though they were nice, they still joked about my situation and made fun of my career. I didn't appreciate that at all. I don't need that type of joking when I'm going through something serious and life-threatening. Thank you Next Level urgent care being there for me when I needed you the most! I was even given some extra gauze and bandage so when I clean the wound I will have something to wrap it with. I will recommend this urgent care to anyone that asked me for recommendation. Even if I'm asked this question on Reddit. I will let everyone know that I was treated with the utmost care!! Also wanted to mention that Brian who works the front desk is cute. I'm happy that he was able to enter in my information from the insurance card correctly. This is the infusion center my daughter goes to when she needs IV saline to try to recover from any…read morekind of flare (usually caused by viruses). She's almost always the youngest person there but she's an old soul so has made some special friends while spending several hours per infusion anywhere from 1-3x/wk for anywhere from 1 week to 9 months (the longest ever which we hope never happens again to her!). They relocated from an old, depressing space in the main hospital to this newly remodeled space in the medical clinic maybe a year and half or so ago and it's so much nicer! All the nurses are wonderful! They always do their best for my daughter. They are mother-like to her so I don't even go in anymore because both of us trust them to take great care of her and treat her with dignity. Something often tends to go wrong with the initial orders and they are so helpful getting it resolved. My daughter hasn't needed IV saline therapy for a long time, thankfully, but it was wonderful coming in to find the familiar, caring nurses still working in this department.
