I called the dealership where we bought it (and JUST paid it off this month!!!) to ask if there was a replacement I could get and how much. The gentleman at the dealership was every nice and made sure I was asking for the correct part, but when he told me the price, it was going to be $1000 just for the mirror and top cap, and that's not including labor. I was crestfallen. I just had to do some home repairs and don't have $1000+ for a new mirror. I googled for some places to get parts like Amazon and Advanced Auto, etc and while the prices were about half of what the dealer wanted, none of them had OEM Honda parts. They were third party, which doesn't always stack up in the quality department. Then I remembered that I could check with salvage yards and "pick a part" places. I came across A1-Rylie Auto Parts in the Dallas area and saw they had the exact part I needed, an official Honda part and in the color I needed - for $175!! I logged into their live chat and spoke with one of the representatives named Kevin M to ask some questions about it. Was the part in working order, do they ship, how much is shipping, is it scratched to hell, and so on. Kevin checked to see if the part was in stock, assured me that the part was pristine (it totally is) and gave me a grand total including shipping. He got back to me quickly, and answered all of my questions expertly. After we finished chatting, about an hour later I got an email from him with several high quality photos of the mirror assembly I ordered before he rung it up. He had a picture of each side, the camera, the mirror itself and a shot of the camera in the mirror working. He said he just wanted to be sure it was the part I need just in case there were any corrections needed. I told him that was exactly the part I needed, and then faxed in my order. I checked in about an hour later via their chat service to confirm the order was in and Kevin confirmed they had the order and that they would try their hardest to get the part out that day, if not the next. I requested a tracking number when it was shipped and was told I'd get one without a doubt. Keep in mind I placed the order YESTERDAY - 11/10/2022. This morning 11/11/2022, I was sent a UPS tracking number via email and thought to myself, "well this probably wont arrive until Monday at the earliest, but at least I've got the part I need with little effort." Cut to about 2PM this afternoon, Im sitting in my living room watching TV and there's a knock at the door, UPS had dropped off a package. I checked and sure enough, it was from Kevin at A-1 Rylie. Sure I live about 150 miles away so it's relatively close, but still, LETTERS take longer to arrive in the same town than this mirror did to arrive at my place. And the packaging? This thing could have survived a nuclear explosion it was so well packaged and protected. Heck, it almost took longer to unwrap the thing than it did to install it! I installed the new mirror without any issues, and now have a fully functioning passenger side mirror, AND I saved probably over $1000. TL;DR: Buy with confidence from A-1 Rylie. I sent a message asking what the gear ratio is - a question any REPUTABLE auto dismantler would know or at least know how to check. They tell me they are a self-pull yard. I ask if they can at least tell me the gear ratio before heading that way and I ask if there's an option to have the axle pulled for me and I can pick it up. They say yes and quote me a price. I ask again the gear ratio but they don't know. They quote me a price and say I need to bring a core. I ask how much with no core. They quote me a price and I say fine, I'm on way - figure I'll just live with whatever ratio it ends up being. Just as I'm getting on the freeway I get a message saying "you pull." WTF!? I have NEVER been given the runaround like this from a wrecking yard!! I feel that they have no idea how to run a dismantler! At this point I'm giving up on them and going to look elsewhere! After just shy of $10k, 8 trips back to the store, and a month of listening to systems with…read moreissues.... We will NOT be back. I had 2 sound systems installed in 2 brand new vehicles. When i picked up the Bronco, Joel Joseph had "misunderstood" me and did an additional $600 worth of sound deadening. Then I paid for Alpine S69c speakers, and they installed Alpine E series speakers, causing the amp to fry them. Then They broke clips in one of the speaker grills (they replaced after they realized i knew) . They did not install one of the covers that go over the speaker, and caused vibrations. Then they installed another amp incorrectly, and caused another set of speakers to blow. Then I keep finding little nicks and scratches on the trim. Then they charged me for a specific subwoofer, and then its on back order, so they put a cheaper subwoofer in, and charged me full price for more expensive subwoofer. After install, the chime was twice as loud, and when opening the doors, the ding is way too loud. I asked them to fix, but they said they didnt turn it up and it wasnt their fault, even though it wasnt that loud before. I asked for a full refund, and to return the cars to stock, they refused to give a refund. So here now im here to warn folks to be careful when dealing with them.... Check your stuff. Im sure Joseph will respond to this saying they do good work and they guarantee their stuff, and if i had an issue i should go up there etc etc.... Well Joel.... i did. 8 times. Im done giving you chances to get stuff right that should have been done right the 1st time. 10k should have gotten me 2 AMAZING sounding systems.... instead i got 2 systems that sound like they came from Buckner.

I am pleased with my new car stereo. I decided that I needed a new car stereo that had an Apple Car…read morePlay integration so I didn't have to keep looking down at my phone for navigation instructions. I wrote up a list of what I wanted and sent it to the car stereo installers that had the best reviews on Yelp, including one I had used in the past. I must have sent this to 5 of the top-rated car stereo installers in Dallas. And guess what? None of them could respond intelligently to the requirements that I put together except for Joseph's Auto Toy Store. My challenge was that Joseph's did not have a 4 or 5 star rating on Yelp--although the shop does on Facebook and Google. So, I kept trying to get the other car stereo installers to respond to me via email and Facebook Messenger and Yelp messenger. I even tried calling a couple of times and got 'voicemail box is full.' (That is a huge pet peeve of mine--clear your voicemail boxes people!) And after 3 weeks of this, I replied to Joseph's via a Yelp message and explained my dilemma. Joel, the owner, replied back that they've been in business 36 years and have great customer and supplier relationships. He replied to my messages via Yelp so fast. So, I figured I'd give him a try. Yesterday, I stopped by and got my stereo installed. There were some complications that I think other car stereo shops would've taken longer to fix -- like a part was missing and it was raining. Joel called in a favor and had someone drive the part to us in the rain, even with all the Dallas traffic. Once installed, there was an issue with the steering wheel controls, and they caught the issue on their own --without me having to notice it--and used a hardwiring work around because there were no manufactured connectors available to match the unique configuration of the stereo and my vehicle. This did take longer than I expected, but I know that with any of the other shops I called -- who couldn't put two sentences together over text or email -- that I wouldn't have received my car back yesterday and that I'd still be waiting. My overall assessment of this Joseph's Auto Toy Store is that this place is run by professionals who know what they're doing and can communicate clearly. Unfortunately, no other shop I called--including Best Buy--gave me this impression. If you're a buyer that appreciates workmanship and communication, this is the place for you.
