I wish I could go here more as I live far away, but I always go when I can. Cheney has some of the best shopping and food options than anywhere around. When I said "so you are telling me that I spend about $500 and you just won't honor it at all? Even with a rain check or a substitution? Even though the ad is still on the website?" She said "that's right." I sent an email to the store manager but I think that's a really poor way to treat a long time customer. A rain check or substitution would have been fine - I get it - they ran out. But not saying anything at all and then just letting me leave thinking I've got a turkey until I get home is not okay.

I came here specifically looking for a new suitcase that's decent sized and under $100 bucks. This TJ Maxx had a corner section of just luggages and all different sizes. Their selection was bigger than I expected, with both soft and hard shell cases, and the price ranges were pretty good and fair. I found a Lucas brand light-weight (not familiar with this brand) semi-hard shell case with 2-inch expander and 360 wheels for $80 bucks. The inside had a full zip enclosure with 2 zip pouches and 2 scrunch pockets, which was what I was looking for. Check-out line was kinda long but again to be expected during holiday season. With that said, I noticed employees worked diligently and kept the line moving.

This was previously a 5 star review from my experiences with customer service. I run a nonprofit horse rescue and get coupons from Purina for horse feed. I have frequent problems with them, but today was the worst. I was running behind and despite my clear communication that I was giving her 3 coupons (said 3 times), she only rung up one. We had already swiped the card, so she had to process a refund. I expressed I was running short on time and she said it would be quick. She then processed an EXCHANGE and called us "even" and wanted to ring me back up for the 2 coupons she had missed. So she wanted me to buy 2 bags of senior feed ($29) at full price, not need or get a real exchange, then pay the discounted price ($9) for the same two bags. At this point a manager (Jim) had come up and was backing her up saying it all made sense and that we were "even." Though I had been charged too much and not refunded anything and they wanted more of my money. I asked him for reassurance this wouldn't happen again and he just mansplained that the job was hard. No apologies, nothing. The customer service rep (Sheila) was the only thing that saved the situation by understanding the situation and taking over to help process our refund and get our coupons applied. I spend hundreds of dollars in this store weekly, and this situation has me considering finding a new feed store that actually supports nonprofits and the coupons we need to keep working. If I do go back, Sheila will be the only reason. I am extremely disappointed in this situation.

When shopping at this Target, I have encountered mixed experiences. I typically do my essentials…read moregrocery shopping at this location, and it generally covers what I'm looking for. The bathrooms are generally unclean and could use hourly cleaning due to their high traffic. On many occasions, I've found some great pieces, whether it is a knick-knack, makeup, or clothing, etc. When doing exchanges or refunds, it has been a mixed experience. On some occasions, depending on the employee one encounters, it is either fun, average, or unprofessional; there is no in between. One encounter I had was incredibly hostile, and unfortunately, my nephew, a minor, was there to experience a grown man who was a Target employee who targeted my nephew with racism, projected hatred, and entitlement. I asked the Target employee a simple question while checking out. The man was volatile in his retort. The employee screamed at us in an attempt to humiliate us in front of others, and then aggressively threw a basket in our direction. It was an absolutely unacceptable and inappropriate experience. It was clear that the man had a mental health illness and had not been a safe individual to work within a shared environment. He was easily triggered. I reported this man to the manager, and it was handled immediately. As for the value of the products in the store, I would say it is mid-range, with high pricing. You can easily overspend so definitely go in there with a conscious budget.
