My first visit to this location in 4/13/26. It's a large Costco with a very grand parking lot. The carry same goods and merchandise as other Costco's. Some great deals, some not so great. My go-to Costco location! For some reason, the flow of this warehouse feels more spacious than the one in the Valley. The parking lot is much better, too. I find a great variety and selection of products here however, I noticed that they some of their produce have mold or are bruised, which makes me wonder what kind of quality control happens before the produce hits the floor. I'm always satisfied with the selection of meats that they have. Staff is always helpful and their new way of checking clients out while they're waiting in line really makes for an efficient and fast shopping. read more

I know that not many people if any do a review on Costco food court. But I'm gonna give it a try. The Costco food court in Spokane on Newport Highway has an indoor food court and that's mainly because of the weather overall. It rains a lot up here and then in the winter time, it gets downright cold, whether it snows or not so they do everything inside. They have sit down tables. They have standing tables and you order everything at a kiosk and must use your Costco ID card to order and then use a debit card or your Costco credit card to pay which makes things amazing because you know that anybody ordering is a Costco member. We ordered two cheese pizzas to go, two hotdog that come with your drink. And we decided to try the new ice cream caramel brownie thing that they have and I need to tell you it is amazing. At first, I thought it was gonna be way too sweet since it's caramel on ice cream and brownies, but it was not. It was too perfection. Then I ordered their icy coffee. And it gave me a brain freeze right away so I hold onto that till we got home through it in the freezer and I'm gonna have that later. And as always at most places that offer soft serve ice cream I got the ice cream by itself in a cup and it never makes me unhappy. The value that you get at the Costco kiosk food court is above and beyond. We fed six people had leftovers for lunch for tomorrow for everyone. The hotdog is amazing and a great value for what you pay and if you eat it there, you can refill your drink as many times as you wish. In fact, people come in with their own cups while they're shopping and go over and fill their cups with drink from the soda machine and ice not sure that's the best thing or or not but they do it. So this is my review for Costco food court in Spokane on Highway two. The people that work in this Area have their stuff. Shall we say together to be able to keep all of these orders going and keep people moving through. While we were waiting on our two pizzas because they cook them fresh they went from ordered 30 to order 95 in probably 20 minutes while we waited for the pizza. read more

I'm impressed with their quality assurance. I've received notifications for recalled products I've purchased, especially food with alerts, rebate coupons for products that didn't meet the stated weight on the package. Unfortunately they don't always have the best selection. read more

The customer service was great at the pharmacy, but when I went to check out, it was a horrible experience. Cindy and her coworker were less than kind when I needed to check on the elderly handicapped gentleman I took shopping. The store was not busy at the time and they took my items off of the belt and returned them to my cart, for no reason. Then, they told me to go to the back of the line. It will be a long time before I feel welcome at this Costco again. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. I've been a loyal Costco member for years and never had an issue--until today. My daughter went to check out using my membership card, something that's never been a problem in the past. The cashier, Cassidy, immediately shut her down and said only the cardholder could use it unless she was paying with cash. When I stepped in to clarify, I explained that she doesn't carry cash and has always used her benefits with no issue. Still--denied. I calmly offered to pay for her to have her own membership, trying to resolve it right then and there. Instead, things escalated. Cassidy called over a manager who was just as rude, more focused on questioning who I already had on my account than helping us with a solution. They treated the entire situation like a criminal investigation and even held my membership card as if I had done something wrong. The lack of professionalism and empathy was staggering. It became humiliating and uncomfortable very quickly--all over a situation that could've been handled with basic courtesy. These were two employees I've never seen before, and trust me, I'll be avoiding Cassidy's line from now on. Thankfully, Jen at customer service was kind, respectful, and explained the policy without making a scene. She even said, "If you were in my line, this wouldn't have been a problem." That says everything. Costco, I understand having rules, but how they're enforced matters. There's a big difference between following policy and creating an unnecessary power trip. This was a textbook example of how not to treat loyal customers. I hope management takes a hard look at how some of their staff are representing the Costco brand--because this was nothing short of embarrassing. read more

This review is based on about ten visits. One of the worst managed Costco's I've ever shopped. The number of Costco's would be over thirty in a few states. Over a week ago, I shopped here after visiting the VA. I had four items and approached a cashier who was talking to her bagger. She was eating and complaining about life. There were no customers nearby which is why I approached. I stood there for at least a minute listening. I was not in a hurry and was chill. After a bit, seeing the bagger looking at me, she continued talking to the employee. I decided to back up my cart and go to another stall. The woman employee in her 50's grabbed my cart, halting my movement. The bagger began to shoot a scanner. I asked, "Can you let my cart go." She asked why, we are going to scan your items. I told her no, I'd like to go to another aisle. She let go slightly pushed it. Gave me a nasty look and said something rude. I ignored her, walked two aisle away. That clerk began scanning my items. The cashier from other aisle was mouthing something to me, laughing and mocking me. Another cashier nearby walked to her and joined her behavior. My transaction was quick and I took my cart to look for a manager. I had a employee in her 50's identify herself as a supervisor. I saw her name tag was a ten year employee but didn't identify herself as a supervisor. I told her what happened. I did nothing to provoke such humiliating behavior. The employees were still doing their actions. I went to the parking lot and called the assistant GM. He couldn't confirm if that was a supervisor I spoke to. I told the story. I said I think part of the reaction was possibly due to my veteran hat. I couldn't figure out why she and her employee friends mocked and made fun of me. It's sad to be at this age and get treated disrespectfully. I called Costco corporate but they told me they don't accept a complaint. As for the store.....I've seen employees be rude to other customers and the store is in disarray. Employees emulate supervisors and administration. In this store, I recommend a overhaul of the management and then slowly clean house of rude employees. read more

HUGE HUGE negative five star rating for this one. I came to go shopping after having a hiatus from the company for financial reasons. For my elderly father to come out with a horrible injury on his hand. As someone who works in retail, when it comes to workplace injury for a CUSTOMER? They did not show any concern, nor did they bring an upper lead to check on him they gave a small bandage meant for paper cuts and small abrasions to me without even looking or addressing my injured father UNTIL I pointed it out to them. They scrambled for a gauze and tape, but handed it to me, saying they're not medical which to me says something about their care towards their injured customers. There was absolute no concern towards what happened to my elderly father. Not a safe environment at all. No medical training. read more

This is NOT a review of this store, it is a review of ONE PRODUCT from their bakery department -- the banana cream pie. I read one online article (my FIRST mistake) which raved about how good this new product is. Because I love bananas, (real) banana pudding (Southern style), and (real) banana cream pies (with whipped cream, not chemical compositions), I had to try this one. I would have been better off flushing my $16 down the toilet, which coincidentally is where this pie should go. It was absolutely the worst excuse for a banana pie I have ever tried anywhere. The label reads "with real bananas" but the closest this has come is a truck carrying bananas passing by the store. Uncharacteristically, before buying I failed this time to read the small print (size 0.1 font) in the list of ingredients, which had at least 50 listed and most were chemistry experiments. This thing was too sweet, too creamy, and had zero flavor (or texture) of bananas (although there was a caramel drizzle on top which is fine for apple pie but has NO place on banana pies or puddings). It was much more like eating a tub (make that two tubs) of Cool Whip, which I would never buy (at least since the 1970's). In a word, it was "disgusting." Save your money. For half that amount, you can at least get a decent banana cream pie in the frozen section of your nearest grocery store. read more

Love to shop here as it's easy to get in and out of the store although the parking seems to be 90% full at all times. That in itself tells you how fantastic this store is. So I am from the land of Costco Corporate (Issaquah, Washington - it's where I grew up) and have literally been going to Costco since 1983 (first Costco was in Seattle, yo!) I've been to Costco's all over the country and even in other countries. I have multiple friends who work at Corporate and on the Costco magazine. I have always LOVED Costco. This is the Costco that is the closest to my ranch and my parent's estate, so this is the one we usually go to. The last couple of weeks, something has changed. The employee's have become very unfriendly and aggressive. The optical department refused to do measurements for me so I could ensure I was buying the right size glasses. Wouldn't check my ppd. (I'd just gotten both contact lens and eyeglasses prescriptions right there in their store.) Told me to "just go try things on." No, I want to be measured and then see what is available in my size, not just try on glasses randomly that other people have ALSO tried on (covid is STILL around, you know. And I've never had it and don't plan on having it.) They check cards now at the door (normal) AND again in the self check line (new), and literally stare/glare at you while you're ringing up your groceries and try to micromanage you. Even my super nonconfrontational elderly mother made a comment about how she felt like she was being treated like a criminal. (She is one of those people who won't leave negative feedback or speak up for herself, EVER, she'll just quietly leave and will no long patronize that establishment. For her to make a comment like that, you know she is very angry, even though she says it in the kindest most genteel way.) So sad, I hope this is not the way of the future for this once glorious location or the company itself. Next time I need to make a Costco run, I'll consider going downtown or to the Valley. read more

We've been Costco for longer than I can remember and this particular store is pretty nice. Parking is a bit roomier than the valley location, even though it's still usually pretty packed. The gas set up is nice too as it's out of the way of the parking hustle and bustle. The store itself is, well, like a Costco. There's not much of a difference between most of them. This one is no different. I have noticed lines are generally kept in check by opening more lanes. Employees have always been friendly. read more

What's not to love about Costco? I'm sure it's local or at least it employs local people. Honestly, this isn't my usual Costco, but I was in the neighborhood and decided to make a mad dash in and pick up a quick present (candy... best place to get candy). My trip in, though, was slightly scary, as when I was walking in the door, I heard a very large gentleman cough. Yes, he had a mask on, and I, of course, had my mask on, but you know... Then he didn't STOP coughing. I dashed away as fast as I could so that I wasn't even within 12 feet of the man. Back to the other end of the store I went and thought that I was safe from the coughing man. Did some quick shopping and then what do I hear? *Cough* *Cough* *Cough* and yes, it's the same man! So, I told my husband that we HAVE to leave NOW. I have waited a few weeks before writing this review, just in case I had more to write about, but alas, that's it. Nice Costco. read more

Friendly staff, usually not understaffed, pretty large location, decent parking lot that is laid out logically, and plenty of gas stations. You have a lot of variety and you're a clean store. However, you lack accommodating people with Physical disabilities, meaning you DO NOT have enough electric carts for shopping. I was in a horrible car accident a few years ago. The accident was the other person's fault. The point is you have 2 carts and they are never available! That's just sad. Costco is a wealthy business and you guys can afford more than two motorized shopping carts! Yokes has 7 of them they are almost always available & Yokes is a grocery store. You're COSTCO & you're the 2nd biggest Costco in the world. Please do something about this and get more motorized carts. I recently broke my ankle and went into Costco to get my medication for the pain, and after being there and talking to the pharmacist lady, my medication was not there after I talked to my dr and had it sent there. the First Lady was kind, but couldn't help me, and said my medication was not showing. She told me to talk to the Second Lady there, who was not very pleasant nor kind, to put it lightly. She was not accommodating what so ever towards me or offer me any outward assistance, and honestly she was rude and negligent. I absolutely love this new location. Plenty of parking, it's easy to get in and out of traffic, and the warehouse is huge and more organized than their previous location. Everytime I shop here I always find myself ordering from the food court before leaving. It is definitely hard to beat Costco's food court prices especially the quarter pound hotdogs with drink for $1.50. Its not as good as the polish sausage that they used to sell but who can complain especially about the price. Of course for me, the Ceasar Chicken salad for $3.99 is always my favorite!! Great location, super friendly personnel, clean environment, and plenty of convenient parking. read more

I sure am stoked on the new Costco. My husband even more so than me. Did you know there is enough room in the parking space area to fit a flat bed between you and the car next to you!? Mind, blown. Costco is a therapy for me, shoo - that and Target and it's probably because I can buy avocados in bulk and rest on furniture and drink a smoothie all in one area. But there is always something about a new location, that is fresh and clean and all the way up by my house. There are a few staple items that I adore about Costco: 1. Kirkland Wine 2. Pumpkin Pie 3. Meatloaf 4. Caesar Salad and Rotisserie Chicken 5. Kirkland Baby Wipes 6. Leggings All those items are staples of things I buy at Costco, oh and of course the avocados. I am in LOVE with the bulk amount of those perfect vegetables you can get. Really great staff, pricing, and experiences every time. read more

My younger sister is 16 and went in to just buy pizza from the cafe area alone which we have always done without our parents or a card and they wouldnt let her enter the store, when I called to see the issue the woman I spoke to, Laura, was very rude and in a way tryed to talk down to me. I recently bought Costco Kirkland Organic Peanut Butter because there wasn't any Skippy brand available. It is terrible! Don't buy it! If there is anyone in authority from Costco reading this get it off the shelf!! I have bought many Kirkland brand items over the years and have always been pleased with what I purchased. Not the peanut butter. Specifically, if you open the jar there is 1/2" of peanut oil sitting on top of the peanut butter. I mixed it up and it has the consistency of bottled mustard. Not spreadable with a knife. Ditch the Kirkland brand and get Skippy back on the shelf! read more

Today I stopped at Costco on my way home from work. I noticed a large number of people not wearing masks, which was quite a change from the last time I was there. When leaving I asked the receipt checker at the door if they were not enforcing the mask mandate anymore this employee responded No, to which I said that's odd because 6 months ago you guys were revoking membership's from people who would not comply. The receipt checker responded: well if you don't like it you can talk to member services and cancel your membership. I was simply curious as to what had changed and why and got t treated extremely rudely. And yes I did go talk to member services. I didn't cancel my membership as I have been a member longer than that particular employee has been alive. Do better Costco read more

A member since 1984, I've always had courteous and helpful service. As for what they stock, they carry most things we need - and some we just get tempted by! Since we can't use some giant quantities, we pool with our neighbors - many are on low fixed incomes. And there are always local charities to share with, too. I appreciate the good care they show toward their employees, and their efforts to support sustainability. Good job, Costco! I had to laugh at the California who resented being asked to wear a mask at different visits. (Considering the number of clerks who would man an entrance and the many thousands of customers going through, perhaps she could ask to have her picture posted ala the "wanted" signs so she could be recognized.)
