I love Bianca! I've been going to her about a year and I've seen her five or six times. She always does a great job. And she's a great listener. She really takes the time to listen to what you want and then consult you about it so that by the time she starts you really feel like you and she know exactly where things are going. She's a total Pro. And she's also very down-to-earth and friendly. On top of her professionalism and hairstylist skill, I enjoy spending time with her. One thing that really impressed me was I have been asking hair stylists to make my hair a white blonde for years. And for one reason or another none of them would ever do it. Some of them would say they would do it and then it would just be this yellow blonde, and others just would say oh I don't want to do that because it'll ruin your hair. So when I went to Bianca I explained this to her and she explained to me how we could do it and make it work. And I've had it a white blonde now for almost a year and it's totally fine, and I love the color. Lately we've actually been tenting it purple which is also really awesome. Sooo happy I found Bianca! I've always had a blonde panel in my hair and wanted to do something new.. but not let go of my precious blonde (seriously, years of work I couldn't let go of). Bianca suggested an under color and it was perfect. First we did a mix of blues, green, purples, and pinks.. it was a little subtle so I came back after a couple months and added more hair and narrowed down to blue and green -- and I love it! She's kept it so real too about what is attainable and what would look good. Having dyed my hair blonde for a while, and having naturally jet black hair I understand the process for getting vibrant colors. I started going to Bianca based on the recommendation of my wife. My wife has been going to Bianca for a couple years and repeatedly told me to go check her out. Here's the thing, I am very specific about my hair and extremely detail oriented. Also, I was concerned that maybe she wasn't seasoned in cutting men's hair. BOY WAS I WRONG. I have been switching between Barbers and hair stylist for a couple years trying to find the right fit. I finally listened to my wife (I know, I should have listened sooner - I will never learn my lesson). The point is, Bianca impresses me with her skill every time I see her. She listens carefully to my requests and isn't afraid to provide honest feedback. She will of course do whatever you want, but if you'd like her opinion, then all you need to do is ask and she will be honest about what would work best for you. Another perk of going to see Bianca is you get to have your hair done in her private suite, which means you don't have to talk over other hair dryers and can be in peace if you please. Also, I can walk there, which is amazing, but let's be real, sometimes we get lazy. Have no fear. The parking is convenient - when does that happen in LA?! This girl is legit. I'm not one to normally leave yelp reviews but I felt inclined to after my visit today. I went in with a vague idea of what I wanted but was unsure based on the texture of my hair (think fine baby hair). Bianca listened to all of my concerns and then made some suggestions. She wasn't pushy or cocky, just gave me her best recommendations and then got to work. Suffice it to say, when she was all done, I was absolutely ecstatic with my hair. She was able to cut it in a way that gave it volume; something that I am always concerned about with the type of hair that I have. She did an amazing job, and is such a sweet person. I've been going to Bianca for cut and color for about a year and 4 months now. To put her work lightly, IT'S AMAZING. SHE'S AMAZING! I've never done a yelp review before but that's how great I think she is! When I see Bianca it's usually to redo my roots and switch up my color and if I'm being honest, it can be a bit pricey at times. However, I get a lot done (usually get a trim as well) and it is so worth it. It's not crazy expensive or anything but like any good service, you need to pay for it if you want it done well. She uses good products and gives great recommendations on how to maintain color and keep your hair healthy. My favorite thing about Bianca is that she is not a BS-er. She tells you what would work well for your hair and is not afraid to tell you the truth just to make some money. For instance, when I first went to her I wanted to go from my brownish red hair to silver. She was very clear about how it can be difficult to take out red color and that in order to keep my hair healthy it could be a longer process than expected, doing one lightening session and then coming in about a month later to do another In order to get it light enough to retain the silver color. She ended up making my hair a golden blonde and I loved it so much I kept it for a while then went back to go silver. She knows that some people would go to another salon and pay a lot of money to get it done quickly but she wants your hair to be done right. I have a few experiences like this that really showcases her integrity. Every time I go to change my hair color (has been 5 times now with Bianca) she is straight up about how long it can stay in with proper care and will make the color a bit more intense to have it fade out to exactly how I want it! So, as I'm sure you can tell by now, I love Bianca, she is an amazing colorist and not to mention super cool and really fun to chat with. If her work didn't stay in my hair as long as it does (went blue 2 months ago, still going strong) I would gladly see her more often. read more
