Got my hair done by Lorena. She took the time to have a detailed consultation with me before getting started. She asked about the results I was looking for and was able to give me suggestions. I was more than happy with the results. She was able to highlight my hair in a way that frames my face and adds warmth. I've had my haircut three times now by Phillip and I am totally addicted to the way he cuts my hair. He's able to add so much movement to my medium to short haircut. It's just amazing. I told him I wanted my hair to feel or look luxurious in the sense that it flows and has lots of texture and movement, even though I didn't want my hair to be really long. I have been coming to this salon for a few years now and am so happy and grateful to have found it and my incredible hairstylist Marisa. The salon is extremely clean and decorated beautifully. The staff is very warm and welcoming. They always offer coffee, water, tea, etc. They are also pet friendly! Marisa is everything I ever hoped to find in a stylist! She's kind, loving, fun, and a great listener! (What we all want and need in a stylist!) She cares about you and your experience with her. We have done a variation of blonde treatments throughout the last few years... I loved all of them! She is extremely talented and I can't express how happy I am to have her! Prior to finding Marisa, I had tried another salon where the stylist was working on multiple clients at the same time. I didn't feel like a valued client. Nico is your guy! I came in after watching him work for the last two years. He was so accommodating the moment I walked in the door. Our conversation was amazing! Not your typical salon gossip. I absolutely loved my hair. He corrected my color on one treatment and it's so shiny and healthy. The kicker was I ran into him a couple weeks later and he asked me if I liked my hair AND if I felt beautiful. I've had some of my closet friends do my hair and none of them asked me that second question. Everett! Remember that name: Everett. This is who you must ask for at this salon. Here is the story of Rena meets Everett: well, to know this tale you need some back story; initially I went to a different salon... and an over priced disaster happened on my head. I had just started my amazing hair style journey: in preparation for my nieces wedding in March...and the cut I got, at this other salon, was cut into what looked like a mushroom dome around my face. It was literally taking over my face. Two weeks prior to the mushroom cut My son was like: "I got this guy...he's got Zhuuuuzh; he's got style; talent; edge etc. and I think you'll like him...and Yes he told me this before the mushroom haircut happened: I know. So, I called my son...After the disaster cut, and he was lovingly doing the I told you so talk and I was like: ok kid just give me your guy's digits. He gave them up and Strictly instructed me to text Him immediately. So I made the 911 text to save my hair and Everett got back to me asap. So let's talk about price because I know you're asking, yes yes yes Rena but what does he cost?...yes it might be a little higher than some of you kids may be accustomed to paying buuut I'm just going to say that it is an appropriate price for his talent. If I had just listened to my son from the beginning and waited for Everett's availability from the start, I would have had the haircut I wanted from the beginning at his price and his price Alone: instead of having to pay $110 at a different salon for a haircut that he then had to fix. He's worth it boys and girls; He resuscitated my hair. I wasn't sure if it was possible but he did it. It's got a pulse....and on its way to recovery... should Be fully recovered in few months (in time for my nieces wedding) and for sure by summer. He's the GOAT of hair. Everett! Remember, ask for Everett if you call the salon. My hair looks so amazing. Also, if your don't know the term GOAT I don't know what to say but probably ask Everett. Hair of my dreams! Keratin tip extensions done by Marisa and assisted by Christopher David. These extensions blend so well and are super easy to maintain. I have very fine hair and had some pretty good growth after taking them out and putting back on. I don't think I could go back to not having these extensions! As far as I'm concerned, this is the best salon in LA. You know this because it has been around since the early 90's. I actually knew about it because I had been a receptionist at a salon where Philip Carreon and Robert Ramos had worked before venturing off to start their own Salon. I then started to go to have Philip cut my hair because I had always admired his style. All that said, he has been cutting and styling my hair on and off since then. (I have left LA for periods) I've gone from very short pixie cuts, to longer layered cuts to Bobs. Every time Philip nails it, every year, every decade. Philip Carreon is a master of his craft. My hair was in rough shape due to a number of things, but he was able to give me a cut that looks beautiful, healthy, and very full (my hair was looking pretty damaged and thin). He also wisely advised me to stay away from bleach for the time being, but was still able to lighten my hair to a beautiful color without it and without any damage. It's the first cut I've had in my life where I can just wash and wear and it looks great every day! I highly recommend him. read more

Afshin, Afshin, Afshin! I got referred to Estilo salon, to see Afshin Amandi, cause I was in desperate need of a color correction after having a bad dye job. I can not speak highly enough of his work! Afshin gave me a complementary consultation and he discussed in depth the process it would take to get my hair back to the color it once was an how much it would cost. He's the first stylist I've ever seen that after I got my hair dyed, I didn't go home and try to touch it up myself! Ever since, I only see Afshin! The other stylists are really friendly, and their work is really clean from what I've seen. My hair has been half blonde half red for over 5 years, and I decided I wanted to see Afshin to dye my hair purple.
