Bianchi Theatre is is nestled in Paramount, on a unsuspecting street, surround by industrial buildings and a shared parking lot with the Paramount Swapmeet. Its small, almost commuter like. Very convenient for a quick stop to see a movie. The service is blasé. There are typically a lot of customers from 5-10p (Tuesdays, Friday-Sunday) so they are always is a rush to move the line. BT caters to a younger crowd, so beware. If there is a popular movie out and you plan to see it here, arrive early. Not just to beat the crowd, but to skip the juveniles that frequent. A lot of people also come here from the swapmeet before they head home. It's typically clean, but I have arrived on a few occasions when there was a bunch of popcorn left on the floor, or cups still in the armrest. It's a smaller theatre so don't expect a lot of movies to play here, especially indie films and limited releases....then there's the $5 Tuesdays! One of the only reasons why I continue to come back. read more

Ok this is a movie theater. And when it's a major movie premiere all the cashiers should be open. And my suggestions on having a line to where if your coming to get a refill three should be a line for that purpose as well. Cause you get there in plenty enough time before your movie starts. And then have to wait in line almost 35 to 40 mins is so crazy and frustrating. I mean the seat are so damn close to where you can't even move your arms to get comfortable with out touching the person next to you. So I will be going to Downey theatres. I came here last minute to watch Selma before work. They have quite a few matinee times which was great! The theater is in an industrial part of town but it easy to spot (with the help of GPS). There were two windows open so we walked right up to purchase our tickets. $8 matinee I didn't get any snacks this time because I had just had breakfast. But the popcorn smelled good. The theater was pretty clean. The crowd was okay. Some people were pretty Lou during the previews. And one woman even answered her phone during the movie! $5 Tuesdays make it worth the trip to Paramount. I've found the theaters to be clean. The staff is efficient. If school is out, you can expect long lines on Tuesdays, but I do think a bit of a wait is fine for such a great deal. Taking the Tuesday discount out of the equation, this is a 3-star theater on account of the parking situation. When the swap meet holds business hours, good luck finding a spot. Shout out to the ads for Pika Tortas Ahogadas and Downey Pizza Co that they ALWAYS play before a movie lol a trip to Bianchi isn't complete without seeing them (they need to update the Pizza Co one smh) read more

This is my go to place .... when I'm bored . It's pretty close to home and very chill. I know the seats are nots as comfy as other theaters but they will do for a day of "just get out of the house" type of day ! Lol the staff is friendly . It's not fancy or up to date like Regal or Cinemark, but it's not ghetto neither. Just a regular movie theater. Great thing about this place is nobody hardly goes there lol. Seen Blade Runner, Coco, Justice League and several other big movies and there were only like 10 or 20 ppl the most. Even Star Wars it was only me, my wife and some guy recording the movie on his camera from the top seat. I'm not sure how this place makes money, but it's my go to place read more

Ive been here a couple times with my family. A little small, a bunch of young kids. Seats are super comfortable. Concession snacks are not 2 pricey. Overall pleasant visit. Only downfall they dont have the popcorn powder. Other than that this place is alright with me. read more

This theater has been one of my favorites for years but over time they've been neglecting the maintenance on this theater I'm currently at the theater and the chair has a metal wire sticking out that hurt me I have kids I wouldn't want them to get hurt or anyone in general they need to update this theater it's gets full on Tuesdays for $5 dollar so their is constantly having customers. That's why from now on I'll be going to cinemark or amc even if I have to travel more. read more

Worst theater I've ever been to. I don't know if it's the people that work here or the people that come here. The lady selling the tickets looks like she HATES her job and the one ripping up the tickets looks like he's in pain being here. The people in the theater are loud as can be and have their kids screaming and acting like we are at a circus! The early tickets are 5.50 so that was cool probably explains the crowd, but next time I'll pay the extra 5 bucks to go to the AMC or Edwards Cinema. I love coming here because it's not overcrowded like Edwards or Regal. I can come here at any time and I get great seating, affordable movie food and a clean theatre. I love coming here on Tuesdays at night when the movies are $5. Later you come the better as you avoid the 7-9 pm movies were kids are still filling up the seats. The only thing I dislike here are the churros they sell. Stale. I've returned one that was beyond stale and even though they made me a fresh one it was still not fresh. This place is a bit complex to rate. I have been coming here for 10 years, as a kid it was better than what it feels like as an adult. I appreciate the student discount and the senior discount. From previous experience, the student discount has to show the semester enrollment depending on the person selling the tickets (NOTE: not all student IDs show semester enrollment). The price is reasonable (with the discount and compared to other movie theatres), however, bianchi has not been remodeled and the seats are only wearing off more. The floors are not always clean and the negatives are based on the busier days and times. For example, $5 Tuesdays are beneficial for families. I like to watch my movies in peace without people talking in the background and answering phone calls/ texting in the middle of the movie (true story). This place is starting to look like Norwalk 8, if you know what I mean. When I'm feeling like a fancy movie date with the hubby, then I choose a more expensive movie theatre like an AMC, cinemark, regal, etc. read more

Only good thing about this theater is the parking and the cheap ticket prices. Other than that the concession stands line are way to long 30 minute wait on the weekends and over price compare to AMC and Cinemark and to many rowdy and loud teenagers talking during the movie and kicking on the back of your seat!!! read more

I came to this theatre to watch 1917 ... everything was great ! Until it seems that the power went out and the movie turned off. As this completely threw me off and was an extreme inconvenience.. The girl working at 9:20pm tonight at the Customer service stand was nowhere close to providing good service. She seemed confused and told us we could go back and watch the movie .. As it was going to continue in 3 minutes .. when we walked back in the movie was already Re-playing .. with the lights on .. the lights even distorted the picture on the screen. There was no compensation upon Bianchi theatres as this was an inconvenience .. not only will I have to come back and re watch the whole movie from the beginning but I have to make a whole new trip when I could be watching another movie .. not to mention we were not even refunded for the online ticket fee .. dissatisfaction to the max ! Don't be fooled by the low amount of stars. Under certain conditions, this is the BEST movie theater you could ever want to go to! Those conditions being that it is a weekday in the middle of the day and you don't mind bizarre and inefficient movie theater staff creeping you out. By the way...it's the closest theater to my house and I live in a bad neighborhood...so put 2 and 2 together. But to me, the REAL problem is the staff!!! WTF!!!! This place is cool I like it & its very local to surrounding cities, the $5 Tuesday's are amazing but just be prepared to very crowded due to the many of people who want to take advantage of the DEAL... they have certain staff members who are also awesome..... mainly my favorite is the young and tall African American guy in concession his energy is great and always positive when I go in to watch a movie... very polite and well mannered; if you need nachos goto him he'll make sure you'll taken care of nicely read more

Unbelievable! Movie started at 2:10pm! It is now past 3:00 p.m (got here at 2pm w. Tickets already purchsed)! Missing the movie I paid for, to spend more money at the concession stand! Someone please explain why their are 2 people working the stand on one of the biggest opening weekends of the year! (Plus the manager keeps going to the back only to come help at the concession line every 10 guest! got 1 person at the guest services WITH NO line, and 1 person at the front door taking tickets every 4 minutes from people. Yet a full line at the concession stand! Never again! Will rather spend the few extra bucks else where w. Services like this! A case of a small independant operator obviously being in over their head. This theatre WAS nice when it opened, but it quickly went downhill. The customer base has been hard on this theatre and Bianchi has been unable to maintain quality standards (facility or operations wise). These days, it almost apears they are in survival mode, just trying to keep the theatre functioning. Poor service, poorly maintained facilities, and a less than desirable customer base make this theatre a place to avoid. read more

Clearly disappointed in this movie theater I took four kids with me 2year old 4yr and 5yr usually when they are 5 and under they're free in this case by size understandable I didn't buy the ticket for the 5yr old she was a little off at the pool that was out there you didn't realize that until after the fact. So the lady that was taking the ticket let us in with the two tickets that I bought one for me and one for 10 year old that I had with me when I went to go get seated I was coming back to go get popcorn the lady was inside the movie theater and told me I needed to buy another ticket when I got to the door the manager was standing there as well I felt like I was being harassed alright going to get put out because of their mistake. It was embarrassing and unprofessional. When she could have told me that at the door don't get me wrong the one that were collecting to take it was very nice about the situation it was the one who sold me the ticket that I had a problem with. So therefore I didn't enjoy the movie too busy with that on my mind all night. I would have left but I didn't want to disappoint the children so as I walked out I see the same lady at the ticket booth didn't charge the other little boy for a ticket that was a little taller than the pole that was OK tho.. the point of the story is I don't think it was very professional and I fell race le violated and would never attend this movie theater again in life. I will also be writing a letter to corporate office about the situation because I didn't enjoy the movie because of this incident. read more

It's very clean, associates are nice and the best part is every single Tuesday all movies are $5 dollars. With everything being so expensive, who can beat that, right? The theaters is good but make sure you guys look carefully when you order a jumbo popcorn! When you order a Jumbo popcorn you can get 1 refill so I recently went to see endgame and I ordered a jumbo popcorn and every time I go I always get a refill on the popcorn so yesterday when I ordered this young guy marked it as if I got a refill already even though I'm barely arriving to the theaters. At first I was confused and I let it slide and later on when I came back to ask for a refill he said I already got a refill even though I didn't and I was upset. I literally bought a popcorn and he still manages to mark the jumbo popcorn as if I already got a refill smh ! The young man is skinny and curly hair. Honestly, I only come here on tuesday's 5$ movie or 3D 7$ you cant beat that for a local movie theater. The theater is not so far from me so I started to buy my tickets earlier in the day. Why? The lines are supper long on tuesday most likely the movie you wanna watch is already sold out unless you watch a late function. A lot of high school kids though that are very loud, annoying and disrespectful. Brought my daughter to watch frankenwinnie 3D and it was totally worth it.
