    A Happy Customer With Icee

I would definitely recommend this theater to anyone who loves movies. Anyone who loves the theater atmosphere. This location is definitely an abandoned gem. I've been to the drive-in next door to this location but never gave it any thought to visit Bianchi. I decided to give it a try to see Harold and the Purple Crayon. This theater is beautiful from the inside out. It looks brand new to me. I'm a movie junkie so of course I signed up for their rewards program. Still not sure how it works but will eventually find out from the many times, I plan to visit. Ordering tickets online is a breeze. Nothing is complicated and the communication is awesome. My hubby is in his senior years so I was able to purchase a ticket at a senior rate for him. Once ordered, they communicate through email and supply you with a barcode to be scanned. You enter the parking lot off of Rosecrans onto Bianchi Way and make a right. Making a left would lead you to the drive-in theater. There's plenty of parking. They have a beautiful fountain which is photo worthy, alone or with friends. I deeply appreciated Samantha for calling us up by asking "who had online tickets". It felt good to move through the line under that provision. She was polite and very informative. The team members at the concession stand worked very productively. We stood in line but before we knew it, we were being handled by Ruby. Very polite and outgoing. I totally appreciate that this theater serve you snacks that are cozy and nostalgic. The nachos especially. Other theaters serve a box with chips and a small thing of cheese. Not this location!!!! Those nachos were old school. The kind you would purchase back in the day from an ice cream truck. The Icee was perfect and the popcorn was a generous portion for a medium. The auditorium was beautiful and private. The way it's situated, it gives couples an opportunity to sit alone. And those who like to sit to the back extra back support. To be honest, on my visit it was actually a treat because my hubby and I practically had the theater to ourselves. A father and son showed up but we were pretty much it. The restrooms were very clean and plenty. Also if you're a gamer, there's a mini arcade upstairs. They even have a mini dining area. I'm definitely coming back. This theater is gorgeous, simple and gives their customers everything they need to have a good time.

This is my home movie theater. It's been here since I was a kid so I've been coming here for years. It's not the best. I believe only one theater in here has the recliner seats but the rest are those old school folding chairs which aren't too comfortable. Upstairs is an arcade with a small amount of games available. The concession stand is standard your basic popcorn, nachos, icees, etc. Very busy on Tuesdays because movie tickets are only $5.00, worth it in my opinion, if you plan on coming early in the morning on Tuesday just be aware the swap meet gets full and parking becomes limited when I went.

I have been coming to this theater since 2018, I came back in 2019, 2022 and now 2024, best place to come to see a movie.

My first time going to this theatre; less crowded, cheaper than the other theatres. Quiet, clean & I heard they got recycling chairs in certain rooms. Across the street is a Drive-In Theatre!

Very first time at this theatre and I was a bit skeptical from all the reviews. My fiancé and I went to see a movie pretty early around 7pm so there was still light out and not much people but it looked like a really nice place. Unlimited parking so no hassling on looking for any, beautiful inside - it looks like you walked into a different world! There's seating inside for waiting/hanging out, an upstairs area, beautiful colors inside and good theatre snack options. Inside the theatre it was nice I would say it's not as clean as other theaters especially the chairs (that's my reason for the -1 star). Service is nice and it was fun to go to a local theatre that has gotten better. I'm not sure about how it was before but from what I read to what I experienced it has changed. I recommend giving it a try :)

Cool theater not to busy prices are way cheaper then at the mall or amc but they didn't have any personal pizzas on a Saturday and the nachos are trash ugh, overall it's a good family theater for sure. Oh we went to see boss baby btw

I really don't need to explain how bad it is, simply look at the picture and tell me what is

A convenient movie theatre for locals and those living in surrounding cities. Bianchi is next door to the Paramount Swap Meet and has recently installed a drive-in theatre which has gained a lot of popularity. This movie theatre holds a special place in my heart since this is my childhood movie theatre. I vividly remember my parents bringing a few of my cousins and I to watch the Rugrats movie 17 years ago for my 6th birthday. The staff here has always been friendly and helpful. One thing that never fails to change, however, is the painfully long wait at the concession stand during busy hours. Standing in line to buy popcorn for 20 minutes is insane. The busiest day of the week here is Tuesdays. Tickets are $5 and the crowds are massive especially on $5 Tuesdays during the summer time. I'd rather come on a different day and pay full price.

Ever since they remodeled the movie theater, it feels super modern and comfortable. The seats were honestly one of the best parts. They recline and have that soft cushioned sofa-style feel which made the whole movie experience way better. The picture quality was great, the sound system was solid, and overall the theater just felt really clean and well kept. We kept it simple and just got popcorn and a large soda to share. Honestly, it was more than enough for both me and my wife. We asked for an extra container so we could split the popcorn, and I loaded mine up with butter while she kept hers plain. Small thing, but the staff was cool about it. I also liked the location. It's right by Cheesecake Factory and the whole Cerritos mall area, so there's plenty to do before or after the movie. I noticed they even have a bar inside which looked pretty nice. Next time I go, I'm definitely showing up a little earlier to grab a couple drinks beforehand. We didn't try the food since we had already eaten, but the pizzas actually looked pretty good, and I saw they also have burgers and chicken sandwiches. Overall, this is honestly a really good movie theater and definitely a spot I'd come back to.

Our movie started at 11:00 a.m., and we figured showing up 5-10 minutes beforehand would be plenty of time, but the line was surprisingly long. Between purchasing tickets and grabbing snacks from the concession stand, you'll want to give yourself a little extra time. One of the biggest perks is their $5 movie promotion on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays before 6:00 p.m. That alone makes it a great value. We also picked up snacks from the concession stand. The popcorn was fresh, which is always a plus at a movie theater. We also ordered nachos but the cheese wasn't my favorite, but it was decent. We got a large Icee as well, and I liked that large sizes come with free refills. They also offer beer, wine, and seltzers, which was a nice surprise. The theater itself isn't huge, but it was comfortable and clean. You select your seats when purchasing tickets, which was convenient. I hadn't been to a movie theater in a while, so that was new to me. They also have a rewards program, and I signed up during our visit because it seemed worthwhile. This isn't a luxury theater with all the bells and whistles, but that's part of its charm. It's a simple, no-frills neighborhood movie theater that's affordable, easy to visit, and perfect when you just want to catch a movie without the hassle. We'll definitely be back.

I've been here before and have had some alright experiences but my most recent experience was…read morereally not good. I came on Sunday for the value day, it's 5$ for any showing before 6 PM. The theater was absolutely packed. The line to buy tickets alone was down the parking lot. When I got into the auditorium, it was slammed with people and they were so loud the whole movie. I'm aware that has nothing to do with the workers and the people running the cinemas, but man it was so bad. I mean people were coming in and out of the theater during the movie which is really annoying and distracting. People were talking and laughing during the movie and made no effort to be discreet or anything along those lines. People are on their phones too with the brightness all the way up. I can't even properly enjoy the movie with all this shit going on, it made me really want to ask for my money back. If you come to this theater on a Sunday, this is what you will probably have to deal with.

I haven't been here in years. So I decided to go with gf in tow, on a Saturday night, for 8:10pm…read moreshowing I did remember to come early to get a good spot to park. 39 minutes early is the latest to come. Otherwise you will be waiting in a huge line and may be fighting for a good spot, so you can be far away from the we*d smokers or smokers of any kind, if you are a nonsmoker like we are . Prices are still cheap. Only $14 for general admission (12 and older). Way better than walk in theater general admission prices. Pretty sure ticket prices are cash. So make sure you have cash for tickets. We came to see Mortal Kombat II. Which was amazing. I never saw the first movie. But you don't have to have seen the first to follow this movie. One reason I wanted to see this movie is Mortal Kombat II is my favorite video game (SNES) version of the MK video games. The best place to see an action movie is on the massive drive-in theater movie screen. Not Imax, etc. So we went here. Another great thing about drive in theaters is you can bring your own food and you can have privacy with your date inside your vehicle, if you know what I mean . Just have privacy glass. Because a family of kids can be parked next to your vehicle. If you want, you can bring chairs and sit outside your vehicle and watch. Which is also a great choice. Especially if you have kids. They will love sitting outside. If you do sit outside, bring a coat, blanket, etc. It gets cold at night. The concession is cheap af and not like walk in movie theater prices. For example, their large popcorn is huge. Yet its only $10 with taxes. We got ours with extra butter. They offer a lot of other good stuff too at great prices. But we only wanted warm popcorn with extra butter. I saw some raggedy ATM machines in there. Not sure if concession got them there so you can use cash to buy food. But I didn't ask as I already had some cash on me to buy popcorn. So make sure you bring cash for concession as well. Make sure you vehicle radio can tune to 90.1 FM and you can leave it on without it draining your battery and without parking/headlights being activated. It drives us movie goers crazy when some foolish person will turn on their headlights while everyone else is trying to enjoy the film. Also, if you need a radio for showing, you can buy one from them for $20 at concession. Great experience here. I love this place. Like I said, I havent been here in like 6 years. Last time I was here, one ticket paid for double feature. Which was a steal. Because after Mortal Kombat II, I was looking forward to seeing Michael again. Which we already saw at a walk in theater. But we were ready to see it again on the biggest screen ever. They dont do double features anymore. So if the website shows two movies, dont misread like I did. It clearly says: "TICKETS ARE FOR A SINGLE SHOW TIME ONLY." I was wondering why everyone was leaving after Mortal Kombat II was over . We stayed in vehicle until security drove by and told us they only do single features. We weren't the only ones he had to tell. Great experience here. Cant wait to see another larger than life movie here.

Somehow there was always one ingredient missing... the truck, the timing, or the friends willing to do it.Last night it finally happened.I convinced two of my guy friends to go with me -- one visiting from Missouri and one from Temecula -- and we were all ridiculously excited. We honestly didn't think we were going to make it because our movie didn't start until 11 PM, but we pushed through. We had a bonfire first, and right as it turned 11 and we were getting ready to leave, I tripped, fell, and sprained my ankle. Worst timing ever. But if there's one thing about me, I do not like bailing on plans. I said nope, we're still going. We were just going to be sitting anyway, all cuddled up in the back of the truck with blankets and pillows, so I powered through. I tried really hard to get comfortable, and even with the ankle situation, it was still such a fun experience. This one is definitely going down in the memory books. There's just something so nostalgic and special about a drive-in movie. It feels like one of those classic '80s activities that hardly exists anymore, which honestly makes me sad. I'm so glad we finally did it, and I would absolutely do it again. If you've been thinking about doing a drive-in movie night, take this as your sign. Do it.

Since it is a smaller theater, the restrooms can get super busy with lots of people there for a singular event, so keep this in mind if you have to time your restroom breaks best on intermission etc. My only qualm, though might makes sense based on context, but the seats were super uncomfortable (though I was sitting for 5 hours for a very extended showing) and my lower back and butt muscles were cooked.
