I feel like if you've reviewed one Bibibop, you've reviewed them all, which is actually a good thing. I consistently get the same quality food at every location and it's been this way for years. But I can't remember if I've ever reviewed a Bibibop before so I guess I'll review the Sawmill location. This is one of the few build-your-own kind of places where all the options are so good that I don't have a regular item. Purple rice? Excellent. Noodles? Amazing texture. Salad? So cronchy and delish. I love almost all of the toppings, I could realistically say "give me all of it" and end up with an amazing meal. The spicy chicken is spicy without being overwhelming. And I really can't get enough of the yum yum sauce. Really, I could praise it all but I'll give their iced teas a shout out and move on (it's seriously good iced tea). All of the locations I've been to have a similar vibe. Very clean, bright, welcoming. I don't think I've ever had a had a bad experience either. All in all, this is a place I keep coming back to not just because it's conveniently located, but also because I know I'm getting a solid meal for a great price. read more

Food was absolutely LOW quality. The bowl was very gross. I'm unsure what type of ingredients Bibibop has switched to but it's Horrible. I took a few bites of my food and threw it away. I visited the store July 4, 2025. The lady that put my order together couldn't understand English so as I was asking questions she had to ask the guy ringing orders what I said. Chain places have one job - be consistent. What I order at one location, should be the same. And BIBIBOP achieves this. I ordered via the app - so I could just run in and grab it. That was fairly easy process. But... they didn't have my cup, so I had to hang around and get the cashier's attention to get it. They also didn't get my cookie, which I didn't discover until I got home. Disappointing, but maybe I didn't need a cookie. The food itself - was exactly what I wanted and I was happy to eat it, and it was the flavor profile I ordered, so that's a win. Not enough to be like "no, never again!" but I'm going to pay a little more attention when ordering online. read more

This place is sooooo good and it is pretty darn cheap. I typically order from the app and just stop in to pick it up and its always ready to go which is very convenient. We just recently stopped in and they had redecorated for their 9 year anniversary and really did a great job. The staff is always friendly and easy going. I wish they still had the sauces out for self serve, but might have created a bigger problem, who knows. I just recently moved and I am glad to know that there is another one close by. We have ordered in person and online and our food has always been 100% accurate. Super awesome that they recently shifted their ingredients that everything is now gluten free. It's such a load off our minds being able to order without the risk of a mix up or cross contamination. BIBIBOP is fast food and similar to Chipotle and Piada where you can make and customize your own bowl but a little better for a few reasons. It's slightly less expensive as you can get a tofu bowl for 8.99 and they have vegan and healthy options. I had the tofu bowl with purple rice, kale, broccoli, carrots, corn, cabbage, and ginger sauce. It was not only filling but amazing. I will definitely be back! read more

I remember last time I reviewed they had some portion of issues, but they are back on track now! The only downside is that they get pretty busy during the lunch rush which means dirty tables not being wiped down so you'll probably have to do it yourself. Not the worst thing but a heads up. The four things I've learned while packing up our house this week are (not in any particular order): 1. Packing makes me hungry (or maybe it's the stress of packing up our whole house), so don't pack on an empty stomach or else you wind up eating anything and everything. 2. Don't pack all your toddler's toys (oops, we may have gotten a little "pack" happy, but you know who's paying the price of this mistake? We are. Sorry nugget.) 3. We've acquired far too much "stuff" in the five years that we've lived here. Always purge two times per year. So now the packing has taken on a less than organized approach, because I find that this will be "future Carla's problem". Good luck future Carla, there may be a box with potholders, items from the infamous junk drawer, your baby pictures, and an elf hat in one box. 4. You never have food in the refrigerator because you've packed up everything in the kitchen So due to not having anything in the house to eat, I needed to go out and grab something quickly on my lunch hour. I had a hankering for rice and chicken, and figured Bibibop would be a good option. If you're not familiar with Bibibop, it's the Korean/Asian version of Chipotle. I had never been to the location on Sawmill, and decided this would be the closest one. This is the first time I've stepped into a Bibibop and there was a large line. It was lunchtime, so it's to be expected. The line moved super fast. I opted to get a bowl with purple rice (yes, you read that correctly. I didn't know it existed either). Why is it every time I say purple rice, I want to belt out Prince's Purple Rain? I digress. If you're not a fan of purple rice/rice in general, you can choose from the other base options for you bowl: salad, Japchae (sweet potato noodles), or you can get a wrap.Then I chose to add potatoes (you have the option of adding potatoes, sprouts, and/or black beans), then chose chicken as my protein (you can also choose from steak, spicy chicken, organic tofu) and veggies (romaine, red cabbage, carrots, corn, sesame kale, daikon, cucuumbers, kimchi, cheese, eggs). I chose daikon, corn, and cheese. Then you can choose your sauce (gochujang, teriyaki, spicy sriracha, cucumber wasabi, sesame ginger, or yum yum). I opted to get my own side of yum yum, which by the way, that area got a bit congested. I was literally in line for maybe two minutes, paid my $7.57 for my bowl, got my side of yum yum sauce from a self-serve sauce section of the restaurant, and was on my merry way. I opened up my bowl, and it looked lovely. The bright white daikon and golden hue of the corn looked great against the purple rice. I added some yum yum sauce to my bowl, put the top back on and shook my bowl up, so I could evenly distribute the yum yum sauce. I bit into a potato, and unfortunately it wasn't all the way cooked (none of them were). What a bummer, because that's one of the components I like the best. Everything else tasted fresh. The corn was sweet and you could taste the notes of cilantro in each bite. The cheese added a nice sharp flavor to the bowl. The chicken was moist and flavorful. The yum yum sauce added a sweet, creamy, goodness to each bite. Pros: -Efficiency of the line -Variety of options to choose from -Purple rain, I mean purple rice Cons: -Potatoes weren't cooked all the way -Sauce station is a high traffic area, I think having some pre-made sauce containers, so those taking items to go would be helpful and keep that area less congested. Tips: Don't pack on a empty stomach. read more

I haven't been here in a while, but I was a little disappointed. First, several tables were not clean. Now I either have never got Avocado and / or pineapple before because when the cashier rang me up I paid 1.50 for each and had no clue that was an upsell and definitely would not do that again as 1 whole Avocado could be 1.50, to me it's not worth it and I think if they put in the same place other stuff then if you say you want it and employee should say "That is an additional 1.50 are you ok with that?" That was not the case. Now, if that was all, I would have rated it 4 stars, but my chicken was extremely dry and very overcooked. It had 0 juices in it. So it was just an okay visit today. The cashier, when I looked surprised at the cost, should have taken it off, but it's fine. I paid another 3.00 plus tax for it. The rest of my meal was decent. The Korean BBQ beef is pretty yummy. Oatmeal is rarely good on its own. Remove the instant packs - from all that powdered flavor and you'll have an apocalyptic bowl of porridge completely void of taste. Plain oatmeal is barely fit for the dystopian crew of the Nebuchadnezzar (Matrix). So you add to it. First the cinnamon, then the raisins, and maple syrup is sure to follow. If one follows this path, and many do, one can learn to adore oatmeal. Oatmeal will transcend thru revision to a perfect canvas to create your own masterpiece. Bibibop rolls like this. It successfully lays out the options you would otherwise never have at home to make your own creation. What would ordinarily be a salad bar, is a go to vegetarian spot that (yes.... they have the meats too) serves up gluten free goodness and loads of fresh / cooked veggies. Great stop for lunch! So many healthy options from organic chicken, salads, eggs, and other veggies. Purple rice, noodles, chicken, steak, tofu and spicy chicken provide great options. Pile on black beans and cucumbers, corn and one of their great sauces- you cant go wrong. add a little Black Curant Ice Tea or Lemonade and you have a great healthy lunch. People compare it to Chipotle but this is so much fresher and diverse. Give it a try. Went there for lunch last week. The restaurant was packed with customers. The place reminds me of a Asian Chipotle. Pretty much the same concept. I liked that they had vegetarian and vegan dishes on the menu. The free Miso soup was also a very nice addition. I just find the place a bit to noisy. read more

Finally tried what everyone has been raving about Bibibop. Was unsure I would like it and ended up with two thumbs up. I ordered the rice bowl with organic tofu and all the vegetables added. Tasted so yummy! Not to mention I added the yum yum sauce! Just a little bit of the bowl filled my tummy quickly. Now I cannot to come back and try some more! Was not going to write a review hoping it was a one time incident but this is the second time I have ordered Bibibop from this location now where the tofu is inedible ): I can tell it has been frozen or is either old because it is a nasty dry spongey texture. This happens to me at home when my tofu sits in the fridge too long or gets frost bite. Really disappointed and I guess I'll have to start ordering from a different location. read more

I love Bibibop, but of the locations I frequent this location is the MOST inconsistent in comparison. The veggies and meat are seasoned inconsistently from each visit. Also - this location seems to give out the stingiest scoops. Maybe we are all spoiled from Chipotle, but when I say "extra potato" two tiny scoops aren't what I meant. I avoid this location now & I eat Bibibop almost daily. Instead I drive to a further location... just because of their inconsistency, stingy portions & over seasoning, which makes it unbearable at times. read more

Wish we had Bibibop in California! The massive portions of this Korean-fusion fast food chain are double what you would get at Chipotle on a good day, and the food is tasty and cheap! Just like Chipotle, you select your ingredients and your bowls are assembled conveyor belt style. You load up on potatoes, protein (chicken, beef or tofu) purple or white rice, pickled vegetables, sprouts, beans, etc. I felt a little weird ordering one bowl for two people, but I knew that they give you that much food so that is what we did when we came last time I was in Columbus. You can get half and half protein (for example chicken and tofu) but I highly recommend the tofu which is much more tasty in my opinion. They are little tofu morsels with skin and very well seasoned. Also, you can choose one of the four sauces to pour over your bowl, but I recommend just going to the condiment counter and picking up one of each for your table and dipping through the various sauces as you eat. read more

We checked out BIBIBOP Asian Grill while visiting my nephews in the area. My meal was good but nothing to write home about. I wish they had a few more options for their bowls, especially Asian options. I was a bit thrown off by their black beans and cheese options. It felt like it had a bit of an identity crisis since their were so many Mexican options to add to your bowls. I really liked the concept though and everything did seem fresh! read more

This place markets itself as modern Korean food. Well..... I don't see it. This place really does not offer typical Korean food at all and is very pricey for the flavor of the food. The look on the inside is very modern and kinda bland/ plain. Food is very Chipotle'esc, but just doesn't do it for me. Grand opening and free food from 11-2, who can resist? There is a big line but it's moving quickly. I love the food here and have visited other locations. If you like Piada or Chipotle then you will love this Asian twist. I ordered the bowl with steak as my protein, purple rice, potatoes, sprouts and beans. Didn't make it to the free lunch opening last week, but I was in the area yesterday so I swung by. It was... good, but I doubt I'll go back. It's a lot like Chipotle, where you pick your carb/meat/veggies, and go. Very, very fast, and the service was friendly. I had a bowl with purple rice (which I couldn't taste under the sauce and other toppings,) steak, veggies, and a mix of sriracha and "Korean red" sauce. Tip: get no sauces here; you can add them at the condiment/utensil bar. They were great, but covered up other flavors. The veggies were super fresh, making this potentially healthy. The meat was very tasty. The sauces were good, and there was a surprising amount of heat in the sriracha. All in all it was a nice little bowl, but that was another issue: little. I came in, and left, hungry. Don't get me wrong, it's a decent size, but I wanted a bigger one, or a side. The side options are limited, and didn't seem filling: edamame, kimchi, miso. It's set up so you come in, grab a quick meal, and leave. Clean, open, and comfy seating. Decent food, but didn't scratch my "Korean food" itch at all. Still, it was tasty and fast. And cheap. The first time I tried this was at Polaris and loved it so much, I was excited when they opened a location near me. This is a very casual Korean inspired quick service style spot. Your order is made assembly style like Chipotle right in front of you so you always get what you want. It gives you a chance to ask lots of questions with items you may not be so familiar with while loading up on your favorites and asking for smaller portions of toppings with everything else. Here is the difference between the small bowl and the large bowl. The small bowl is big enough for me. The meat portion is not generous. Don't expect to get more meat when you get a large bowl. You will need to ask for a small bowl, since the small option is not on the menu. The taste is average. Not amazing. DELICIOUS IS ALL I HAVE TO SAY. My boyfriend and i had recently moved into the area and passed Bibibop multiple times. We always wondered what the big deal was so one day we decided to go. Since that day we literally have not stopped going. We probably visit 2-3 times a week for lunch. I never would have guessed the ingredients would go so well together and for $7-10 dollars per person (depending on what you get) fills you up so much! The employees are always very friendly and helpful and its super healthy for you! If you have not tried Bibibop i highly reccomend you trying it! *updated review 6/20* I'm sad i have to update this review but in the past month this location has seriously started skimping. When i first started going here my bowl would be over flowing with food. I have not changed what i've gotten since i started coming here at all. I'm not sure if they are trying to cut costs or what. The food has also not been as good. Last time i went the potatoes weren't even cooked all the way. I won't be returning for a while so hopefully it goes back to the way it was. read more

Got noodles and spouts as a base, chicken (yum) for the protein and topped with cucumbers, corn and egg. Fast casual concept strikes again! This time it's Korean. I got the bowl with purple rice and tofu--added black beans, potatoes, all the veggies (corns, pickled radish, kale, carrots) and finally egg ribbons. Topped 'er off with the Yum Yum and Spicy Sriracha sauces plus a sprinkle of sesame seeds. It's not a huge portion but it's so filling. I asked for a lid for leftovers to take out. Not sure I love this place enough for it to become a habit, but it's somewhat healthy so if you do get hooked it won't have to be a guilty pleasure. So I had very high hope for this place. We moved here from out of state a few months ago and have never seen one before. Looked it up online and went in. I picked up 2 regular bowls for myself and my husband and a small one for my son. The customer service was great especially since I was new and slowed down the 2 people behind me. I had dropped my husband and 1 year old off at home because the baby isn't feeling well. When I got home and we dug in within 5 minutes my husband found a hair in his bowl. We all stopped eating and threw it away. I worked in food in the past for 9 years. I called and spoke to the manager who was very nice but only offered me free food on my next visit.
