I stopped by here a couple nights ago with one of my coworkers while on an out-of-town work trip. Despite being a Monday, the place was actually pretty busy. Regardless, we were seated right away. We were given a spot at a high top inside but adjacent to the open windows for some fresh evening air and a nice cooling breeze. Unfortunately, service throughout the night was a little spotty. The first round of drinks took a while to come out, the app went missing, our server (who seemed slightly less than enthused all night) took the liberty of snagging an extra one for us, and then our entrees came out right at the same time. I started with the sunrise mojito. Being a bit of a rum snob, I am particularly picky when it comes to rum-based drinks and this one did not disappoint. Probably one of the best takes on a mojito I've had in quite a while. I eventually followed that up with the peach bourbon smash, which was also tasty but pretty heavy on the peach and less on the bourbon. To get started on food, we ordered the street corn nachos. Now, I do love street corn, but something about corn on top of nachos on paper doesn't exactly sound like my personal first choice. However, since my coworker was putting the food on his company card, he went that route. Man, what a mistake I made in my assumption. Absolutely amazing. Gooey cheese, excellent flavors, and not too much to fill you up. My coworker got the shrimp capellini, which looked excellent and he agreed it was solid. I opted for the crispy chicken sandwich (a gochujang aioli? Come on). The sandwich was delicious. The chicken was indeed crispy but also quite juicy. The fries were also delicious being slightly soft, slightly crisp, and not too salty. All in all, a couple service hiccups aside, this was a really fantastic place. I definitely will be sure to make my way back here if I find myself on another work trip for sure! read more

Easily the best restaurant in the Bridge Park area! The quality of food for the price is unmatched. I've been here a few times and have always left with a happy, full belly. I've gone during brunch for my most recent visits and can't seem to stay away from the breakfast tacos. I think what makes the tacos stand out is the fried chicken. It's deliciously crisp while still maintaining an excellent moistness. Add that with gravy on top?? 10/10! I find that two tacos is plenty especially considering the side of potatoes. Highly recommend this dish! The true star of this restaurant is the biscuits, whether it's the cheddar & scallion or the cinnabiscuits. I truly don't think I've had a better biscuit in Columbus. They're THAT good. You can't dine here without ordering one of these options. I love the environment and how friendly all my waiters have been. We came on a Tuesday evening around 6 and it was packed! Service was attentive, we were seated promptly (with a reservation), and every dish was great. We had the eggplant meatballs to start (could have used a bit more meal to keep them together but the flavor was outstanding) along with the Korean BBQ cauliflower (breaded, fried, sauced) -both great. Stopped by Kitchen Social in Dublin and everything was delicious. We started with the cheddar and scallion biscuits, which were warm with a nice golden crunch on the outside and soft, fluffy inside. The honey butter melted right into them and made them even better. For my entrée, I had the fish and chips with fries and coleslaw. The fish was crispy on the outside, flaky on the inside, and cooked perfectly. The fries were hot and seasoned well. The coleslaw wasn't my favorite--it had more of a vinegar-based flavor, and I prefer a sweeter, creamier slaw. Madison was my server, and she was super sweet, friendly, and attentive throughout the meal. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, making it a great spot for lunch or dinner. Wow! What a meal! Came in on a Saturday for a late lunch with a friend and it was excellent. Our server was so sweet and gave great recommendations. The food was so delicious I'm still thinking about the blackened shrimp pasta. Since my friend and I were splitting the pasta and pizza they even split the orders up for us on separate plates which was so kind of them to do! Had brunch for the first time here. Breakfast tacos were great! Outdoor seating area was also great for a summer morning.

Came here right before the lunch hour and it was poppin! We were greeted right away and sat down at a high top table. Our server, Alec or Alex was great and came over to make sure we didn't need anything throughout our meal. He would box things up for us as we went along so we had room to eat since our table was so small. Dan also came to our table a few times to make sure our meals and service was good. We had the biscuits with honey butter, the nachos, and the pimento burger. The biscuits were soft with a top crunch. It had enough moisture so it wasn't crumbly and dry. The nachos were freshly fried thin chips topped with crema, corn, cotija cheese, and other things. All the layers of flavors worked so well together. The burger was a good medium rare with delicious pimento cheese in between the patties along with some well seasoned fries. Will definitely be back to try more! read more

My friends have been here for brunch before and suggested we come by on a Sunday at noon. We made a reservation which was a good idea as it was super busy! Every table was taken! We shared the cinnamon biscuits and cheddar biscuits. Had to try both! They were definitely the best part of the meal. They were served warm in a skillet. Wow! Prob super buttery but they were both so good. Nothing was super sweet or overly salty. I got the chicken and sweet potato hash on avocado toast while my friends got french toast and the chorizo scramble without chorizo since my friend is vegetarian. They added extra potatoes for her. Presentation wise, it all looked okay. And it all tasted just okay. Kinda basic. Nothing out of the ordinary. We did enjoy the drinks. I got Brunch Bliss. Not sure what it was but it was refreshing! For an entree I had the miso salmon, it was a good portion and nutritious and delicious. The miso flavor was a bit strong, I wouldn't have minded if they toned it down a bit. Service was excellent. Kitchen Social is quickly becoming one of our go-to spots. We first stopped in for happy hour and were honestly shocked at how good the food was, not "happy hour good," but legit good. Great portions, super tasty, and just overall a great deal. The nachos were a great choice. Celebrating a friend's birthday. Dinner here is always a good choice. The service is always spot on. Attentive, friendly, and accommodating. We each chose the Szechuan noodles. I want to try something different on the menu, but tonight I was just went with the safe bet, because it is always delicious. My biggest complaint is the noise level with where they seated us towards the back. The noise was so loud you couldn't even have a conversation. It was horrible. My husband and I came for the first time tonight. It's been recommended by so many and we finally had a date night to go to Bridge Park. The food was fantastic (thus the 4 stars) and my cocktail was excellent. However from the very beginning we felt so rushed. Within 2-3 minutes after ordering, our salad came out. Then the appetizers right on top of that. We asked for the entree to take its time (which the server tried to do but had pressure from the kitchen) and before we'd even taken a bite a manager came out to see how we liked it. Twice while taking time with dessert and coffee someone asked if we needed a box (which we didn't). We've never felt so pushed out the door. The biscuits were amazing and my friends loved her tuna bowl. I thought the fish and chips were good but not amazing. The beer batter wasn't that crunchy and the Cole slaw wasn't my favorite, but I still ate it. I will also say who I believe to be the manager of the place did walk over to the table and started with, "Don't worry I'm not a creep, I work here." The brunch shrimp & grits kind of blew me away. I got the pimiento chicken sandwich, which was also great, but my girlfriend got the brunch shrimp & grits and oh my god. It was really outstanding. Our waitress Riley was so friendly and helpful. The managers came around and asked about everything and said that the chicken sandwich was fairly new to the brunch menu and asked if I'd get it again, and I feel bad because I said I'd probably get the shrimp & grits next time. I did not in any way intend to seem like the sandwich wasn't great, but I had one taste of the shrimp & grits and it just floored me more than any meal I've tasted in a long time. Their lobby area is tiny, so it's not setup for waiting. Many people left and walked around until their tables were ready. We loved the biscuit appetizer. I had the chicken Natsumi which was fresh and delicious. It took about 39 minutes to get my drink. Our waitress was nice but not super attentive. One of my all time favorite gems that columbus has to offer. I always get the blackened shrimp cappellini (extra spicy). The biscuits are to die for and the portions are more than enough. I love the space with all the natural light that comes in from the giant windows and it's perfectly placed in Bridge Park. We decided to have brunch here and we are so happy we did! When we got there, the owner came out and waved us on in!! The owner came by our table several times to talk, answered questions, told us the history, and even offered a taking of the creole sauce. Our server Luke... was sooo amazing! We were very disappointed with our experience last time. We were initially told the wait would be 20-30 minutes, but we ended up standing in line for an hour. Given that it was 6 PM on a Saturday, we understood some delay, but this was excessive. We specifically asked our waitress to bring all the food out at once since it was already past dinner time for our 4-year-old. Instead, they brought out our salad first, and we had to wait another 15-20 minutes for the rest of the food. My husband and I just sat there watching our salad get soggy, unable to get a hold of our waitress to check on our child's meal (while she did stop by the table next to us several times without making any eye contact with us... We've always come to Kitchen Social because of its fast service and family-friendly atmosphere, but this visit was a real letdown. With service declining, portion sizes shrinking, and tipping expectations rising, we're not sure if we'll come back very often. read more

We had reservations for a Wednesday evening at 5 PM. We had food and alcohol. It had not even been a full two hours, I in the middle of conversation with a friend I haven't seen in ages, when someone walks up to the table to take a dish, interrupts our conversation and let us know it was almost 7 and there were other reservations coming in. I have NEVER been at a restaurant where it was implied my time was up. If they want a policy that is fine but when a reservation is made, that should be shared up front. Even if we had been asked nicely. But instead, our conversation was interrupted and we had to go elsewhere. I have brought a lot of business to kitchen social over the years and will never be back. read more

The fact that we had a short wait at 1:30pm on a Saturday just shows how popular this place is. And it's for a good reason. My friends and I finally got the chance to try this place on a recent lunch outing and it didn't disappoint. Our waitress was very nice and attentive and never kept us waiting long despite the restaurant being packed. We started with drinks and the eggplant meatball appetizer, which was amazing! The meatballs had great flavor and went so well with the tomato sauce they were in and the toasted bread. My main meal was the Thai chicken bowl. Not only did it look pretty, but it tasted great! I couldn't stop eating it and I left this place very full, but in a good way. It had the perfect amount of spice due to the harissa, and the peanuts added a great crunch. I wished I lived closer to this place, so that I could come back more often and try more foods.
