We tried Bibimbox Korean Kitchen & Wings and here are my thoughts. The restaurant is spacious, very clean, and has plenty of seating. When we walked in, we assumed we needed to order at the self-serve kiosks since no staff were at the counter to take our order, even though we were greeted. After ordering, we noticed they offer complimentary miso soup for guests, which was a nice touch. We served ourselves soup and fountain drinks and then waited at our table. Our Thai tea came out first. It looked great, but the taste was a bit powdery, which threw it off a little. Our food arrived shortly after and was pretty tasty overall, but not the best Korean food I've had for the price. For two teas, one fountain drink, and three meals, we spent close to $85. At that price point, I expected a bit more in terms of flavor and quality. If you're looking for a quick, casual meal to satisfy a craving, this place works. But if you're going for higher-quality Korean food for the price, there are better options out there.

Tonight was my second visit. I ordered the bento box again with Chicken. The Chefs have changed and tweaked some things. The kimchi was a smaller amount-not quite as good. They added spinach-it was cold and beside the bean sprouts. I do like both. Last visit, the chicken was the best I've ever had. The flavor was so good. Tonight was okay. Not quite as flavorful. I did try the fish shaped dessert w/beans. It was so delicious. I also ordered pickled radishes. Not the same at all. Will not order that again. I am used to the white cubed radishes. This kind was like pink sliced lemons with not much flavor. I am going back in two days and will try something totally different.

Wish I lived closer because this place would be on heavy rotation. We tried a bowl, wings, tteokbokki, and dessert everything was packed with flavor and super satisfying. It's a great spot when you want something quick but still fresh and delicious. They also have different drinks and teas, which is a fun bonus. Friendly staff, fast service, and overall a solid go-to. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area!

New Korean fried chicken spot! The chicken has a perfect crisp and flavor to it. The only thing that sucked was ordering for a group, they didn't have any plates so we were just eating out of the chicken box and it was hard to share our food. They had a Photo Booth in there and they also sell deserts! If you eat in, they do have complimentary soup to go with your meal. Plenty of parking! The restaurant is big enough to bring a group!

I wanted to know what the hype was about and wanted to try the food here! But i was not amazed by any of it. Fried rice was bland, chicken wings where mid, the only thing i really enjoyed was my strawberry matcha and our tea we ordered. Otherwise i do not think it was worth the hype. Ambiance was very relaxing and there was no service provided. They will deliver the food to the table, but there is no interaction

Was disappointed when my favorite roll from my favorite sushi place did not get delivered and with 30 mins until they closed for New Year's Eve I was not able to try to reorder it. So after scrolling a bit more I found Bibimbox and wanted to try them out. I chose the Build Your Own Bowl as I wanted some customizations, something I couldn't do at the other popular Korean bowl place. I got Chicken Bulgogi with a Sweet Potato Noodle base, then added Mandu, enoki mushrooms, carrots, scallions, kimchi and the gochujang aioli (gochujang, mayo, garlic). I also added a side of white radishes as a palate cleanser. The Signature Melon Soda was a given. I've never had one before so why not? When I received the order the bottom of the bag was greasy and leaking through. The container was soaked so I had to clean my counter. I also didn't receive a straw for my drink. I don't know if that was the store's or the driver's fault but I managed. Nevertheless, the food was awesome. The bowl was thicc with plenty of good size portions to taste everything. It was more than what I could eat and I was fine with that because leftovers. The soda was good as well but I recommend getting it with less or no ice as it got in the way of my straw a lot.

Stopped in for lunch on a busy Saturday. You can order with a person or on a screen. I opted for the screen, which was easy to navigate and understand. You order and take a number and they bring the food to your table. There's free miso soup! It's in a soup server to the right of the drink machine. We got the spicy pork bowl (it is better than the picture looks!), soy wings and kids tenders. The kids tenders are HUGE and there's 3 of them. Spicy pork bowl was really good with the sauces they give you mixed in. It's not too spicy. The wings were very good. Crispy, meaty and with a tasty sauce. We also got a 3 pack of nutella taiyaki to go. So good! It's easy to park here because it's in a shopping center. The employee we interacted with was friendly and helpful. Would return and recommend.

Service was fast and the palce is spacious. They have a photo booth but it was not in service during our visit. The menu offers an impressive range of options such as bibimbap, KFC aka Korean Fried Chicken, desserts and drinks! Of course we had to try most of them lol! To start, we tried their Espresso Matcha, it was just okay. We opted for the create your own bowl, my husband got the chicken with rice, mushrooms, spinach, and edamame. I got the beef with EVERYTHING! So with rice, eggs, and lots of veggies, I enjoyed it! We also ordered their Soy Chicken, it was tasty, but we have had better ones. We ended our meal with their yummy matcha and strawberry soft serve. Korean restaurants are becoming popular here in Jacksonville and I am here for it!

Bibimbox is a lot more casual than I expected. It's like a Korean fast food spit, with the way that you just put your order into a kiosk and put in your table number and sit down to wait for them to bring your food out. The food comes out pretty quickly too, and it's all really good! But while you wait, you can make your way over to their little self serve station, where you can get little bowls and utensils, condiments, water, or some free miso soup, which was also delicious. We got the 16 wings box and I love that we were able to split it between two flavors. The soy garlic is classic and really delivers. And the yangnam is a nice switch for when you want something that's both sweet and spicy, although the spice really isn't that bad. The wings themselves aren't the biggest, but they're super crispy and still have a good amount of meat. They were super flavorful, but quite salty, so eating them required a lot of water for us. We also got the rose tteokbokki. I loved the texture of the rice cakes, super bouncy all the way through. The sauce reminded me of an extremely cheesy buldak, so it was definitely on the spicier side, but still pretty manageable. You have the option to add on the fried set, which includes fried mandu, mozzarella sticks, and fries. It would have been nice to have some fried stuff to dip into the sauce, but mozzarella sticks and fries seemed too basic to spend extra money over imo. Also for the price, I kind of expected to get an egg with the tteokbokki but it just came with rice and fish cakes. We also got the signature bingsu, because of course you have to eat something sweet after eating something spicy. The bingsu was so good! But smaller than I expected it to be for the price. The strawberries were pretty sweet, and the shaved ice itself was super milky and creamy. And I love how much mochi and injeolmi they included.

Ordered the spicy pork bibimbap with a side of kimchi and it was a bit lackluster. There was so much rice compared to everything else. The veggies and meat were good but the sauce that came with it wasn't that spicy and wasn't as good as expected. It was nice that they provided free miso soup. The kimchi was actually pretty good; spicy and crunchy. For dessert I ordered the mango/ube soft service with taiyaki and that was the star of the meal. Although they took so long to prepare it. Unsure what the delay was, as it wasn't that busy. Fast casual spot good for quick eats. If I go again, I'd try their Korean fried chicken.

I was craving something warm after shopping and found this place while scrolling. So glad I stopped by. Inside was super clean, and the workers were really nice and fast. Still plenty of open tables around 2PM. The menu is pretty big with bibimbap, wings, Korean fried chicken, and more. They also have Kumo Kumo Dessert Café inside, which sells matcha drinks, lattes, bingsu, soft serve, and taiyaki. Plus, they have free self-serve miso soup (literally just broth but still yummy). I did the BYOB with beef bulgogi and basically added every topping because I was starving. It came out hot and fresh with a really good amount of toppings. The bibimbap sauce added a nice little kick. Portions were huge. Easily 2-3 meals for like $13. I also tried the ube latte, which was slightly sweet and pretty good. I wanted to do light ice, but noticed no-ice was an extra charge lol. They also have fun toppings like mango jelly, lychee jelly, and sago. Saw the workers making taiyaki too, which looked really cute. They even had a photo booth inside, which made waiting a little more fun. Overall, really good value and freshly made food. Definitely want to come back and try the other options!

I really enjoyed my experience at Bibimbox. I went on a Friday night and dined in. The restaurant is very casual yet trendy if that makes sense. It was super easy to order food on the touch screen monitors, and the food was prepared very fast. During my visit I did of course order the Korean fried chicken. I also tried the Rose Tteokbokki which was fantastic. I have never had that texture and the flavor was just perfect. For dessert, I got the mango bingsu, which I absolutely am obsessed with. I was super happy to see they had this on the menu. Pros Fast service Good food Fun atmosphere Complimentary Miso Soup Cons Photo Booth was down

Trying a new Korean restaurant tonight! Pretty awesome food here!

Pretty solid new Korean restaurant in town! Our small UYE group was made up of Jimmy, Lea, Goldie and myself. I was impressed with the appearance of the building, especially when I got a look at the creative wall art on the right side of the building. The interior has nice seating - basically all table and chairs with good spacing. The ordering area is sizable and it's also neat to see ordering on the kiosk capability. There are many ways to be creative with your meals here! The best way to do that is to order the build your own bowl selection. It may take a bit of time to complete it! When I saw that, I had no clue what 90 percent of the selections were! LOL Instead, I ordered the bento box meal. I chose the chicken bulgogi version with white rice and yum yum(?). There were a few sides that came with it. I thought the kimchi was really good! It was a good meal - sort of like a Korean fast-food style restaurant. It gets pretty busy here and we all really liked our meals. I certainly would order what I had again, but I think I would try the build your own meal option next time for fun! I will also say that the mango lemonade is a great option on the beverage side! If you can't figure out what you like, go with this one. It was great to catch up with each other again and share our thoughts on the meals we ordered. I think they should spice up the chicken a little more and not change the kimchi. Table service is limited to bringing your meals to the table. But you can get whatever else you need condiment-wise at the counter. It's pretty good new restaurant that I believe will only get better. It's a nice place to have a group our size or a little more to meet together as well. Take a visit some time and see what you think! Recommend: HIGH

The side dishes were very flavorful, and I also purchased two drinks that were absolutely delicious. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and provided good customer service throughout my visit. The only thing is that they told me that they do not clean tripe in Korea which was hard to believe. I do want to share a concern regarding the preparation of the tripe soup. After beginning the meal, I noticed that the tripe did not appear to have been cleaned. At first, I wondered if this was simply the restaurant's style of preparation, but after researching further, I learned that improperly cleaned tripe can be both unpleasant and potentially unsafe to consume because tripe comes from the stomach lining of the animal. Uncleaned tripe may still contain food residue, digestive material, parasites, worms, bacteria, and strong bile or waste odors. This can potentially lead to issues such as foul smell, unpleasant taste, food poisoning, bacterial contamination including E. coli or Salmonella, and symptoms such as stomach cramps, vomiting, or diarrhea. Proper cleaning is generally considered an essential part of preparing tripe, especially in professional restaurants where customers would quickly notice if the cleaning process was incomplete. Overall, I appreciated the kindness of the staff, the quality of the drinks, and the excellent side dishes. I am only sharing my personal experience and concern specifically regarding the preparation of the tripe soup.

Whenever I leaned toward a 4, I found…read morethat I needed to leave out my feelings about fighting with the food I eat, which is difficult for me! But that's on me, not the restaurant. And the food, of which this is a hot pot cook and serve yourself full service restaurant has to be considered in my scoring and graded on that. Now, speaking of service, it was outstanding from the door greeter, our server, and having an opportunity to speak with the manager, I will say that the courtesy and attention to detail was evident throughout the eating cooking and eating experience. It has been a few years since I had eaten in this type of restaurant, and being it was my birthday, I kind of said "Oh no!" To myself as I knew what I was in for. But with the psychological game I was playing inside my head, I instantly made a shift and determined to make it a fun and enjoyable experience. It worked! Except my dearest was having difficulty chewing the meat. But again this was not due to the quality of the meats we chose, it was something else. But the food was very good. I loved the appetizers that came with our dinner at the start. I'm scared to eat kimchi because it's often fire on my tongue! But not this time - there was a little heat in most of the appetizers, but nothing that I couldn't handle. It's good to see the restaurant holding back some of the heat to help those who desire less burn from the taste. Now the meats we had all cooked well and timely in the pot. They did sneak a little Mexican in the meat choices with the pollo (chicken) asado! They had al pastor as well, and thought I had ordered it, but it didn't show up. Now, I would say on the pollo asado offering that I felt the spicing was a little too heavy. It was good and I do miss Mexican cuisine from my years in San Diego. We also had pork belly, which I didn't try because I don't eat pork, but it was a good looking option for those who do like it. Now I will say that I did really like the beef bulgogi - was nicely marinated and pretty tender and not overly chewy. Now, I will say that there were only two of us, but I think we would have fared better being in a group of four or more. I will say that the large padded seating booths are pretty awesome! We needed a lot of room to set all the appetizers and choices we made. I also wish I had gotten to try the carne asada and al pastor. But that's for another day :D I do love the ambiance of Gen Korean BBQ. It's modern in appearance. The spacing is good and it's very well-managed and the care in cleanliness is highly visible. It wasn't a busy time when we visited Gen, but we got to see others enjoying their meals here - and most clearly were large groups that seemed to know the drill better that we did at this type of restaurant. With Gen being in Town Center, I have to finally say that the price of the meal was very reasonable, especially when you have a complete menu to choose many items from. It was impressive. If you like Korean BBQ and restaurants of this type, you owe it to yourself to make a visit (and try to get a small group together to go with you)! Recommend: HIGH
