TLDR: highly recommend stopping here for food. The wings and the hot stone Bibimbap bowl options are great! And when dining in, they have the option to add on one beer for $1 (at time of writing in March 2026)! My wife and I were starving and craving a good South Korean style bowl. We ended up settling on Bibimix since we hadn't had it before and it was a great decision. I ordered the chicken wings, half honey soy and half sweet & spicy. I really liked the sweet and spicy wings and would likely get just those next time instead of the mix. My wife ordered the hot stone bowl with spicy chicken. The hot stone bowl definitely lives up to the name. The food stays HOT the whole time. It's important to note that you can only get the hot stone bowl on dine in. I also really liked that dine in had an offer of an optional $1 beer with purchase of an entree when we went. The service was fairly quick considering they only had 3 staff members and it was a busy Saturday night. The wait for food was only like 10-12 mins and it was all made fresh. The dining area isn't huge so if you want to dine in, there may or may not be seating. But we will definitely be back due to how good this was.

For fast casual Korean, this place is perfection. I got the hot stone bibimbap with bulgogi. It was an incredible value for the money. I ordered upon entering. After I ordered, I was directed to the back wall to get miso soup and they had banchan you could help yourself to. They had kimchi, bokchoi, broccoli, radishes, teriyaki sauce, gochuchang, and yumyum sauce. The hot stone bibimbap was fantastic. 10 out of 10. They did not dumb down the food for American palates, which I loved. Next time I find myself near Court House or Clarendon, I'll be back.

1 star for excellent customer service when I called to complain, though they did hedge by saying it was my opinion. Which is true. Here is said opinion: something has changed. Ordered the spicy chicken bibimbap to go, and was upset to find at home that the marinade on the chicken was buffalo sauce. Buffalo sauce! Buffalo sauce has an unmistakable smell and orange-y look. Don't know if they're trying to cut corners, ran out of gochujang or what, but buffalo sauce IMO is gross in a dak galbi bibimbap bowl. Confusingly, Ive looked through others reviews that had chicken bowls, no one's seems to be this orange so seems to be a recent thing. For $47, I expect restaurant quality food as opposed to fast casual and this does not meet the bar. Ive been here multiple times but am sadly crossing from the list.

I walk past Bibimix all the time but for some reason I never stop in to try their food. I guess I'm so conditioned to head to Annandale for Korean food. However, I recently was in the mood for Korean food and didn't want to make the treck out west so I decided to dine in for dinner recently and was pleasantly surprised. My girlfriend and I tried their bulgogi bibimbap and fried chicken tender with half soy and half spicy sauce. They have a great self service bar where you can help yourself to miso soup, ban chan, and water. They food was fantastic, vey affordable, and the portions were huge. There's plenty of seating available. I recommend splitting your meal with one or two people. I look forward to stopping by more often.

The food is definitely substantial enough to fill you up until dinner. You definitely get what you pay for here! This dish comes with fresh veggies and noodles under the meat! The ambiance and service are great too!

Awesome. Legit for a casual order at the counter place. Self serve kimchi and spice bar is the topping. I ordered the bulgogi and it was excellent. Highly recommend.

I recalled enjoyed my meal here! I placed the order to go inside and it probably took 10-15 minutes but it was worth it! (You can order online in advance as well). I got the bulgogi beef over rice which had a really generous portion (as it should be for $18) and came with the beef, rice, and japchae in the bowl. I added a fried egg on top but the egg didn't look freshly made which would be my only complaint. I would definitely go back and try more menu items! Ask for a spicy sauce on top of the bulgogi and it's perfect. I also tried the matcha latte which was interesting because it was extremely creamy, more like a dessert than a typical latte. I'm not sure what it's made with but it was very sweet and creamy! The inside was nice and modern too with some seating area

The food was delicious. It was cooked fresh. All the vegetables were crisp. The was a free fixing bar. That had fresh cut green onions which I love. The Turkish guy who greeted me was very nice and asked what I liked and helped me decide in a bowl. I would definitely come back.

This cozy little Korean restaurant serves all the classic comfort dishes. We ordered the chibap, bibimbap, and tteokbokki, and every dish was very tasty and thoughtfully prepared. Miso soup, banchan, and water are self-serve, which adds to the casual, welcoming vibe. The atmosphere is simple yet comfortable--an easy spot to relax and enjoy well-made Korean food.

After one visit, this is easily one of my favorite spots in north Arlington. If you are in the Courthouse, Rosslyn, Clarendon area and you haven't gone, go. This place has specialty bowls to choose from or create your own. You really can't really go wrong. We ordered two bowls: Korean Spicy (chicken) and Japanese 5 Senses (with beef instead of chicken). They were both excellent. Perfect blend of flavors and spot on service. My only regret is that I didn't know about this place sooner. read more

Whoa! Welcome to the neighborhood, Bibimix! You are LOVED. Seriously, this new place brought the flavor and family feel to the block. I love their options and the prices make this an unbeatable option for a quick lunch or casual dinner. I tried two flavors of their wings (soy-garlic and supreme) which were sweet and delicious. I would suggest asking for the supreme without the aoili drizzle. If you're a Bonchon fan (I am!), these wings aren't as big and crunchy, but make up for size and crunch in flavor, value, and proximity :) I will DEFINITELY be back and urge others to try this local place out. read more

There are not many "fast food" places that cook your food while you wait--especially any that taste good! The basic bowl has rice, spinach, japchae (sweet potato) noodles or lettuce as the "base." Then you add as many different kinds of vegetables on that -- spicy cabbage (kimchee), corn, edemame (soybean), pickled radish, pickled ginger, sautéed onions and mushrooms--over 25 choices! Then you can add on top a protein (beef, chicken or shrimp, spicy or plain, egg, tofu), maybe some nuts or seeds, and choice of 4 sauces on the side. Just over ten bucks and you are done! Everything was so fresh and the servers were friendly and patient with our endless questions. Great lunch! I'll be back. read more

I talked to the owner today, of this restraunt; He told me that if I gave him a 5-star review, that he would give me 20% off of my meal next time. This place has a good number of healthy options. They always accommodate my request without rice and noodle - replaced with more vegetables. All the sauces are way too sweet -I don't like it. All sweet except the spicy Korean sauce. I highly recommend this eatery if you are looking for healthy options. Customer services are great. read more

Stopped by on a whim and was glad I did. They are practicing all precautions and it was very clean. We got the Japchae bowl, veggie dumplings and chicken wings. They do not skimp on quality or quantity. Wings were really delicious - we did them fried with sauce on the side. Maybe because the sauce was on the side, but it's the only thing that was just ok. The dumplings and bowl were both hits and the sauces spot on. read more

Was very curious to see what this place had to offer. The first thing that came to mind was the combination of Korean Cuisine with chipotle style service. I was amazed at the different options they had after the protein and rice/noodles. There are so many different combinations. Service did take a little bit, but I'm pretty patient. And it was lunch time at work. It was busy!! When I saw the bowl, my eyes popped out of my head at the portion size! And it was so neatly put together. Overall just a great experience! Enjoyed it very much! read more

We ordered for delivery. I ordered the green bomb and was really looking forward to the avocado. The first time I ordered it they called me and said they were out of avocado. I ordered it again last night and I was SO disappointed. I got very thin slices of stale avocado. It was tough, Brown, and gross. When I called they offered to give me something free the next day, but I doubt i will ever order from here again. My husband got a different bowl and it was really bland. Would recommend not eating here. read more

Recommend The bowls of any type. Pretty much have tried all of them. Lots of meat and veggies. Good veggies mostly Korean style. Real good sauces complement the food. Highly recommend goju is the red spicy bean paste. Have had wings as well. Good quality and tasty spices. read more

LOVE this place! We wandered in once, and since then it's been a staple for busy weeknight dinners. Delicious food - you can choose from one of their menu options or customize a bowl, and they cook the meat right in front of you. The vegetable toppings are always absolutely fresh, much better than your average fast-casual place. You get a solid amount of food for the price, and it's consistently excellent. Plus great service - the team there is friendly and always looks like they're working crazy hard to get everyone's food done right and quickly. Love Bibimix! read more

This is my and my boyfriend's go-to place when we're really hungry and want something affordable that we don't have to cook ourselves. You walk away feeling reasonably healthy and very satisfied for a decent price. If you sit facing the TV screen, you get to enjoy watching the bizarre world of Korean music videos and wonder where American entertainment went wrong. One small complaint: I might advice the management to consider refrigerating their sauces. I got sick shortly after leaving last time I went there and while I can't confirm that it was a result of their food, I had used their mayo-based cucumber-wasabi sauce, which appears to sit out all day (opened and exposed to air) un-refrigerated. But this sauce (and all the others) are so. good. Bibimix is hella good and I'm going to keep going there whenever I need my Bibimix fix. read more

Awesome place my wife and I decided to try for and early dinner. Great options to be as healthy and unhealthy as you want and still get a great Asian/Korean fusion dish. I had a steak and shrimp salad bowl with the teriyaki sauce. Absolutely awesome. We even ordered the popcorn chicken for our little guy. This is NOT you usual frozen popcorn chicken. Decided to give Bibimix a try recently and it did not disappoint! Sometimes fast casual can mean getting food off the line that looks like it's been sitting around for hours -not the case here. Everything on the line looked freshly prepared and they cook all their meats to order (it takes a few extra minutes, but it's worth the wait). Everything I got in my bowl, from the rice all the way up to the sauces, was delicious - and well worth the price for what you get! I'll definitely be back soon! read more

I visit Arlington a lot and I really enjoyed this one a lot. The Korean Spicy bowl was excellent, and I tried a number of the sauces. Delicious food. I got the Chinese Flame with Shrimp added and it was so good. Very well priced and filing. I don't say soonetbing is filling often. My friend got Bulgogi Kimbap and he loved his meal too. Would come again read more

Overpriced and undercooked chicken that still have blood on the inside of the wing. At this time there weren't any other customers in the restaurant. When showing them the undercooked food, they just took it and walked away. Nothing else. They ask for a tip when checking out at the register, yet no wait service is provided. Very poor overall experience. read more

Had the stone pot with steak. It came with a side of miso soup and kimchi. Everything was delicious except the steak was thinly sliced and a bit dried out-over cooked. Will have to try with a different protein next time. Great service and very clean. I would definitely come again! read more

Bibimix is one of the better lunch places in Rosslyn. It is easy to get in and out quickly and has great food. The bowls are mostly meat-friendly, but it's possible to eat a vegetarian meal here as well. They are a little stingy on the sauces--and you're limited to how much sauce they allow you to take--but the flavor is enough to be OK with limited sauce. I've gone for the Korean spicy bowl a few times, but the Bibi chicken is good, too. Overall, pretty solid. read more

This is great place for Korean BBQ, specifically bibimbap style bowls. I got the steak bowl with kim chi, edemame, carrots and kale. I added the yum yum sauce and gochujang sauce as well and it was delicious, a bonus is that you can add as much sauce as you like to the bowl. The fried chicken wings look good, I might try that when I go back. read more

Since my last visit years ago, they have switched to QR code orders -- unless you are sitting at the bar I'm guessing. As I said, the place was absolutely full, but there was never a long wait time between ordering and receiving food and drinks. They had a fun 20 wing platter for $25.99 with some unique flavors representing different countries... USA (Buffalo Garlic), Spain (pollo asado), South Korea (SPICY), and Mexico (Creamy Cilantro)... I think I got those right, but wow what a feast! Yeah, I didn't take a pic, I'm sorry lol. The cheapest cocktails were $6, but others ranged from $8-12, so not bad at all. Everyone had a great time and I forgot how fun it is. But my special someone is a 5 minute walk away, so I ought to be returning more regularly :). Oh, the only thing was that we had to ask for water and it wasn't brought otherwise. It was a hot day, and there were 6 of us, so we needed a lot of water haha. But a simple ask and it was brought out quickly. In my opinion, they should do it automatically though!

I was in the patio with friends, in the corner, not bothering anyone -- not fighting, not yelling, not approaching strangers. Security walked up, said there was "a complaint," refused to say who it was from, refused to say what it was about, refused to let me talk to the manager, and refused to even let me back inside to grab my own card. My friends asked him to stop. He ignored them. This is the second time their security has unfairly targeted me. The first time I had just stepped outside to take a phone call. The same guard ran after me and started accusing me of stealing -- but couldn't say what was supposedly stolen or who had complained, because nobody actually had. I told him my laptop and jacket were inside at the bar and that all the bartenders know me. He eventually apologized once it became obvious he had nothing. Same guy, same pattern, different night. Also worth knowing: my friend and I had just ordered around $100 in food and drinks at the end. Nothing finished. No refund offered, no apology, no manager. If management thinks letting one guard humiliate paying customers in front of their friends is good for business, here's your feedback. Plenty of better pubs in Arlington that actually respect the people

A Modo Mio offers many food specials. For example, on Tuesdays, that's when we stopped there for…read moredinner, all their pasta dishes are 1/2 price. However, given that they ranked 32nd among this country's top 50 Pizza restaurants, I had to order a pizza. And I'll get to my pizza after I discuss some other things, because it all plays together. Also, during my visit, I kept drawing comparisons between this place and Pupatella, a local Neapolitan pizza juggernaut. The Big Question to answer is why A Modo Mio got a spot on the Top 50 while Pupatella didn't even make the cut. Access is easy, and parking is good. There are lots of spaces that wrap around the restaurant. That's in contrast to Pupatell, which has limited parking and where I always wind up using the Safeway lot across the street. The restaurant is clean and spacious, with plenty of comfortable seating. It also has a long, well-stocked bar where you can sit to enjoy a beverage or a meal. Pupatella doesn't have any of that. When you arrive, you're greeted by a host who shows you to your seat. A very short while later, a waiter shows up and does all the things waiters do. At Pupatella, you wait in line to place your order, then find an open table. TLDR: Your dining experience, outside of the food, is much more civilized and relaxing at A Modo Mio. The pie that earned their 32 out of 50 ranking was the Sicilia. But I ordered a 12" Casertana because I'm not crazy about eggplant and like sausage. The pie arrived a short while later, piping hot and loaded with sausage. The taste was sublime and delicious. My only complaint was that the basil was added before baking, and I prefer that herb when it's not reduced to ash. So back to The Big Question, is the A Modo Mio pizza *that* much better than Pupatella that it earned a spot amongst the Top 50 while the other one didn't even make the cut? Frankly, it's not. It is good pizza... possibly great pizza. But that's also true of the other place. What sets A Modo Mio apart from that other place, and the answer to the Big Question, is that the criteria for generating the Top 50 list included more than the pizza. It also took into account: - Hospitality and Service - Ambiance - Beverage Program. Beyond the pizza, A Modo Mio has those things in abundance, while the other place pretty much has none. TLDR: Comparing pizzas side by side, the two places are on par. However, if you take into account the entire dining experience, you will be much happier with your pizza here, as opposed to that other place or most other pizza restaurants in the DMV area.

Nothing special about the toppings either. The crust and dough were the best part of this experience, but an amazing pie, should have all component's complimenting each other. Is it decent pizza? Yes. Best pizza in Arlington? I don't think so.

A local gem. I've been eating here 1x - 2x a week since they opened. I also eat in Annandale somewhat frequently and this place competes in the Korean fried chicken arena: The Good -All food is fresh cooked to order, generous portions, simple but tasty. Double meat/adding extra protein option always feels worth it if you're hungry. -Friendly service - locally owned, so they're happy to see you. -Japchae noodles/rice/salad are all good. -They do a good, non greasy fried egg on top. -Kimchi stew is actually excellent. On par with Annandale's jiggae. 2 large pieces of tofu in the kimchi stew. Comes with rice, so that's a filling and tasty vegetarian meal. -Kchicken (Korean fried chicken) is great. It is nice to have this in the neighborhood. Fresh, juicy, no complaints. They've expanded the sauce options since they've opened, too. -Popcorn chicken is great. It's the boneless Korean fried chicken. The boneless Korean fried chicken bowl is a neat, decadent lunch. -Tteukboki is on par with Annandale. I'm not a fan of this dish/most classic Korean dishes, so I don't really order it. But it is a shockingly authentic representation. -Bulgogi tteukboki is really good. Sweet marinated beef with soy sauce rice cakes. You can't find this everywhere, so it's cool to see on the menu. -Kimbap is kimbap. Again, I don't hold these sorts of Korean dishes in high regard. It's cheap tuna salad turned into sushi. But they have it. -Grab a bowl of miso soup with every meal. It's next to the soda machine. They don't point it out so many patrons skip it, but it's complimentary! -Fries are good. Koreans take junk food seriously, Bibimix is no exception. The Bad -Skip the poke. Not worth it. A let down every time. I applaud the effort, but they only offer plain salmon and it's cut poorly/chewy in a bad way. For poke, go to an actual poke place. -Skip the tiny seafood pancake for $10. It's 90% pancake batter with some onion. Literally 3 pieces of tiny squid. Go to Annandale for the real thing that's huge and packed with shredded seafood. Overall Place is a sleeper gem. When it opened, I was curious how it would fare. The food was consistently good, and I'm glad to say they're now busy and very popular 2 years strong.
