Steak Taco, Boujee Original Taco, Chicken Plug Taco
Cameron B.

My fiancé and I decided to try somewhere new for Mexican cuisine and we settled on Bibis. You first walk in and they have some good music going, and are greeted by some very friendly staff. The menu is pretty simple, they have tacos, quesadillas, burritos, enchiladas, among some other items. We decided to split the chips and salsa and a chicken enchilada. Both were great, the salsa was very unique and had a very limey flavor to it, and the enchilada was also unlike other enchiladas I've had before but it was very good and flavorful. For our main courses she had the steak taco, boujee taco, and a chicken plug taco. Each were filled with meat and had loads of sauces on them as well (they also came dressed). I had the Biria burrito and it did not disappoint, it was loaded with biria, beans and had everything else in it as well. Definitely worth the trip and highly recommend especially if you're looking for some good Biria cuisine, which can sometimes be hard to find.

My husband came across a YouTube video of a guy reviewing this spot, and he completely sold us on it... and wow, he was NOT wrong. We ordered the asada super burrito, chicken OG tacos, and the quesabirria tacos with consommé. Hands down, this is the BEST Mexican food we've had in the entire Sacramento area. We've tried so many places that were honestly just mediocre, but THIS PLACE blows the competition out of the water. If you're on the fence about trying it, just do it. Soooo good!! Service was fast, restaurant clean, customer service was top tier. Shout out to Giselle! We will be back.

Quest Burria & Papa Frita's taco

Tried Bibi's Enchiladas & Grill in Gold River and it absolutely hit the spot. I had the Quesa Birria Taco, the Papa's Fritas Taco, and a burrito--and everything was on point. The Quesa Birria had rich, savory flavor with that perfect cheese pull, and the consomé for dipping was legit. The Papa's Fritas taco was something different--crispy fries mixed in with flavorful meat and toppings, super satisfying. And the burrito was stuffed, flavorful, and filling without being overly heavy. The staff is cool too, and the place is super guided so you don't need much from them. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and made with care. Great spot if you're looking for something casual but really well done. Definitely going back to try more of the menu.

SO GOOD!!!!! Birria taco was a bit salty. Never had a papas taco before.... But it was my ABSOLUTE favorite. So much flavor. The asada was amazing as well! I definitely recommend trying this place out. Everything was delicious. Horchata was good too. Service was quick and great. The place was clean and they have a cute neon sign!

YOU GOTTA TRY THIS PLACE! Mitchell, the owner makes all salsas by scratch which were very flavorful and delicious. Food was quick! The service was amazing. The ambience was very creative. Again, YOU GOTTA TRY THIS PLACE. I didn't get any before photos because the food smelled so amazing.

A screw in my burrito

There was a screw in my burrito. My birria burrito actually tasted good, meaty, and well-balanced with other ingredients. The meat was tender, without being overcooked like some other places. The chips were a little stale, but I was hungry and they did the job. The main problem was that when I got to the end of the first half of my burrito, I bit into a screw. It was a new screw, so I'm not sure if they're putting some equipment together in the back or something. Either way, it's a major oversight, so be careful. They offered to remake it or give a refund, and I got a refund.

If I was solely basing my review on the Mexican pizza, it would have been 5 stars. It was amazingly delicious. We got both the green and red sauce on the side since we were forewarned that both sauces were hot Thank goodness for the tip! The burrito was huge and share-worthy but not as flavorful as I would have expected especially after having a slice of the Mexican pizza. What really bummed us - no carnitas on their menu. What Mexican restaurant doesn't have carnitas as an option? I'm

Food was surprisingly good, the Jamaica fresh water was good too. The chips and salsa were good too.

Cute, small nice spot, clean and service was good. I liked the music videos playing and the bar seating. We walked in expecting to see a large menu behind the register, instead they have hand held menus which is fine but we walked in looking confused since it was our first time. It was definitely not what I expected based on what I saw on instagram. I was expecting more of an authentic vibe, It's def a more modern vibe. Nothing wrong with that... most importantly I wasn't disappointed with the food it didn't lack flavor in fact I was a fan of the salsas which surprised me. The quesabirria tacos surprised me too they were pretty good. I liked the crispness the quesadilla had however I feel it lacked meat. I got the loaded street taco and it was okay. A little greasy but was okay. If you're used to a authentic taco it doesn't have that flavor.I honestly was just wanting some basic asada tacos but they didn't satisfy the craving for me. It was different not bad just different. Most authentic to me was the quesabirria. I think I'd be back to try something other than asada. Presentation is nice I like the sour cream and cheese options.

Nice experience for my first time in this new restaurant. Easy to find and parking lot has lots of room. The interior has minimal but services, including a tv on one wall. There is bar seating and plenty of tables inside. Went on Friday night and it was nice to see this new place busy. My son, a sous chef, ordered Quesabirrias taco. There were four (more than we expected, and well prepared with the dipping sauce it was also heated up in. Yummy! My chicken enchiladas were also four in count. With the beans and rice platter, it was very filling. Good start to this business. There have been comments about the prices, but compare that to what you get. I think you will be pleased.

For the record we ordered this through Door Dash. I've been recommended to get food here through Instagram. The food looked great with lots of good reviews. The birria quesadilla was excellent. Great flavor and dipping it in the consume is a must. But the crunchy chicken was the star. The tacos weren't incredibly crunchy but just right. So good. The jalapeno along with the sauce made an excellent tasting taco. Every time I go here I'm ordering those tacos because their that good. The food lives up to the hype in my opinion. Again, we ordered this via door dash. And the food is always better in person. Next time I'm going in person. And getting more of those crunchy tacos.

I've seen this place all over my social media so figured I'd stop by and give it a try! It did not disappoint I got all tacos the - loaded, boujee, and plug all were fire! I also got the horchata. Everything was fresh and had wonderful flavor profiles.

It's a nice restaurant, with seating on the inside and the outside. That's good, because they can. get busy. The employees are very friendly It's a very large menu, ranging from things such as your standard tacos, tortas, and burritos, to things such as seafood cocktails, molcajete, which is a Mexican stew, to posole. They have Menudo on the weekend, and also on the weekend, they have a person right in the dining room, making fresh, hot , tortillas on the spot. There is a small chips and salsa bar. The chips are very good, as are the salsas. My favorite has always been the avocado salsa, creamy with just a little bit of a kick to it. Today, I decided to go simple. I had a shredded chicken, super nachos, and a cheese quesadilla. The quesadilla didn't look like much, but it was very big. There was a lot of delicious Monterey Jack cheese in it. They were very generous with the cheese. The nachos didn't look very big, but they were. The chicken was tender. And delicious, and I loved the guacamole and the sour cream. The salsa had a nice little kick to it And as I mentioned before, the chips were fantastic, not greasy at all. For all I got, the price was very reasonable. I will continue to come back. Thank you.

Today, as I was turning onto Rockingham, I finally noticed the place. I like to try new Mexican places so I decided to stop in. I'm glad I did. The place is not fancy on the inside, but it's bright and clean, and everybody was friendly and helpful. They do have Mexican decorations on the wall, and also a TV playing Mexican TV. They have a large menu. I decided to have the Barbacoa off of the lunch specials menu. It came with the Barbacoa, tortillas, (I chose flour) rice, beans, *AND* a soda as well. In addition to the meal, they also have a chips and salsa bar. The chips were crunchy and delicious, not greasy at all, and they had a large selection of salsa. I chose the avocado salsa,, and also the jalapeño and sour cream. The jalapeño in sour cream was spicy, but it was within the limits of what I care for in spicy. The sour cream helps cut down the spiciness of the jalapeños. It was delicious. As was The avocado salsa. The food comes, and for a lunch special, there was a lot of food. The Barbacoa was tender and delicious. The meat was beyond, tender, and it had a little bit of a tangy and spicy flavor to it, but not overly spicy. I added a little bit of the avocado salsa on top, and it just made it even more delicious. The rice and beans were also very delicious. I thought they were a both a little bit soft, for my personal taste, but I know everybody is different. The tortillas were a decent sized, they were delicious, and they gave me. *4* of them. I had plenty of food to take home for a second meal. For a lunch special, they were extremely generous, the food was amazing, and the price was very reasonable, especially since I got two meals out of it. I want to come back and try more things on the menu. Thank you for a great lunch.

I have also become obsessed with their carnitas... I have been there at least 3 different times just for their carnitas. Two points upfront - as far as I can tell, this is not in any way connected to the Jalisco Grill…read morerestaurants found elsewhere in the area. I thought maybe it was and that's why I dropped by... nope. Second point - it definitely reminded me of eating in Mexico, so I guess points for being authentic? I genuinely mean that... not trying to crack a joke or anything. Wobbly table and chair, Mexican game show on the TV, random flatware, decorations, extensive almost prison-like gating and fencing built around the building... it seriously reminded me of several of the places I've eaten at in Mexico. Anyway, on to the food! I was hoping to get a Birria plate, but the hostess informed me that they were out of that, so I chose the Chile Verde plate as a Plan B. The verde sauce had good favor... nice little bite to it. The rice was pretty much perfect, and the beans were very good too. Unfortunately, what should have been the star of the show... wasn't. I'm talking about the meat itself... a good Chile Verde should be nice and tender no matter what cut of pork was used since it's slow cooked for a good bit of time. Pork shoulder is commonly used... but Mexican food in general is designed to be flexible - making cheap cuts taste awesome is the whole magic behind Mexican cooking in the first place! The meat used in this case was rib meat. Short ribs. Was some sort of law broken? This was the first time I remembered having bones in Chile Verde - certainly THIS many bones. No rule broken, though... remember what I said about flexibility. Unfortunately, the meat was dry and tough too. I seriously doubt it had been simmered for any period of time... probably didn't spend much time in the verde sauce either. I really don't like writing a review like this, but honesty is honesty. I can and have made much better Chile Verde myself. I'm hoping this was just a bad day, and I hate to judge a restaurant... someone's business and livelihood too harshly based on a single visit on possibly a bad day... but it is what it is. I see that there are some good reviews here, so there's hope! I'm not writing off another visit. I would love nothing more than to give this review a significant upgrade!
