    Cacio E Pepe
    Jordan C.

After a LONG day in the park, we headed back to our hotel and needed a good meal to cap off the day. We made a reservation via OpenTable, but it was packed on a Saturday night. My son got the kids spaghetti with meat sauce. He really liked it and the portion was huge for a kid's meal. My nephew got the kids steak with mashed potatoes and he also really enjoyed it. My husband and I started with dirty martinis (extra cold!) and they were delicious and EXTRA cold. Much needed after the 100-degree Orlando heat! Hats off to the bartender. We both had the Caesar salads that were cold, crisp and well dressed. I had the monthly special of Cacio e Pepe. Honestly, dont have many to compare it to but it was exactly what I was craving, and it didn't disappoint. My husband went for the tenderloin filet with foie Gras and Truffle Mashed Potatoes. It was YUMMY. An elegant mix of flavors and textures. Cooked exactly as ordered, rare. The service was on par with the food. Excellent. We enjoyed the elevated dining experience after being in more casual settings all day. They even celebrated my son's birthday with a dessert.

Pronounced "Beech Aye" I loved it all, everything. The hostess was welcoming, the server was attentive and gave a 5 star service, the Bruchetta had the best tomatoes on it, the entrees were delicious, the wine and desserts were amazing. The restaurant was calm and the vibe was like smooth Italian music. Definitely try the molten lava cake.

The appetizers were great and the atmosphere was nice but we were there for over 2 hours. It was nice if the waiter to give us time to enjoy the appetizers and of course we cared more about our company but some of our conversations paused due to us wondering how much longer the meal was going to take. Salmon was okay; would stick to the pasta dishes or just share appetizers next time.

My children & husband decided to treat me for my Birthday Dinner and Bice was the destination. The first impression of Bice is that it is very intimate and quiet. My DH and I were fortunate enough to be seated next to a window and our view of the surrounding resort truly made us feel like we had been transported to Italy! Our server, Casey, was a delight. Knowledgeable and friendly, he presented the menu and had no hesitation in making suggestions to elevate our dining experience. We ended up ordering the Insalata Di Cesare which consisted of hearts of romaine lettuce, homemade croutons, and caesar dressing (DH) and the Prosciutto Di Parma E Burrata which was served with Mozzarella Burrata and Fig Preserves. The Fig Preserves were unique and flavorful! For our entrees we ordered Cappellaccio, which is described on the menu as "Little Hat" shaped Ravioli, braised Beef Short Rib, Spinach, fresh Mushroom & Marsala Cream sauce (DH) and a seasonal special, the "Airline Chicken" which is described as organic Chicken Breast, Sautéed Wild Mushrooms and Polenta. Without a doubt, the presentation and flavors of the Cappellaccio won! Apparently it is a very popular dish at this location. It was very easy to see why! Since we were celebrating my birthday, we each ordered a dessert. My DH went with the Cioccolatissimo which was a Molten Chocolate Lava Cake with Chantilly Creme and Wild Amarene Cherries. I decided to go the traditional route and ordered the Tiramisu Della Bice, since I do love the flavors of a Tiramisu! Of course, DH "won" again!! Both desserts were beautifully presented, but the cherries and chantilly creme stole the show! All in all, a delicious and memorable meal.

This beautiful Italian restaurant is located at Loews Portofino Bay in Universal Orlando, and if you've never been to Italy, this place will definitely transport you to the other side of the world! Firstly, when you get to Portofino Bay Hotel, you will enter to one of the most beautiful Italian scenery right here in Orlando. The colorful buildings, the restaurants, bars, and stores make you feel like walking through the streets of Italy, with outdoor seating to enjoy the view. There's a lake with canoes similar to the ones in Italy, to travel through a romantic canal. Then, getting to the restaurant which is on the 3rd floor of a building...what a stunning view from the outside setting on the terrace! A real Italian vibe! And if you're able to catch a sunset would be the envy of many, because the pictures will come absolutely beautiful! The customer service is beyond expectation. Paul, the bartender, took well care of my dining experience, very charismatic with a warm personality. What about the food? Amazing! You'll savor an authentic Italian cuisine.

Impeccable service. The carpaccio and fillet are excellent. The dessert was out of this world. Very intimate place for dinner - highly recommend.

Best tasting filet on Universal Orlando property. If you get Joel, trust him on menu recommendations !

Bice is an excellent option for a special dinner. My family and I came here to celebrate a special occasion and from the moment we arrived in the lobby of the hotel it was magical. The ambiance is excellent, the food delicious, and the service was excellent as well. Id highly recommend going sometime!

3 Words: "Flourless Chocolate Cake." - It's the true star of the show. We went back a second time on our vacation to eat it again! The ambience was classy and quiet. Some people were dressed up, others were casual... but it was definitely had a "steak house" kind of vibe. The service was hit or miss. Our first server was excellent! He was an older gentleman from New York with a load of knowledge about the food and wine. He promptly refilled our water after we had taken a drink, checked on us after each course, and was very friendly. On our second trip in, we had a server from another country. I'm not sure where. He was dressed more like a host, instead of a server... perhaps they were short handed on servers that day... but the 2nd gentleman did the basic job... and nothing more. He never asked if we needed anything or refilled water. He wasn't overly helpful or friendly. Slightly cold, if anything. We ordered the tortellini pasta to share as a first course both days we dined here. If you ask, they will split the pasta dish for you and your companion. It's not enough to split for more than 2 people. Also, it was so delicious, I have no pictures of it. But it was hot, well seasoned, and had a lot of Pork Ragu mixed it! We loved it! Course 2 - night 1 we ordered: - PAN SEARED U-10 ALASKAN SCALLOPS (Served with Lemon Zest & Herb Risotto and Roasted Baby Carrots in a Blood Orange Balsamic Reduction) & - Scaloppine di Vitello "Piccata" (Sauteed Veal Scaloppini, Lemon Capers and White Wine Sauce, Potato Au Gratin, sautéed Asparagus) The Scallops were delicious and the risotto... yum! Probably one of the best, if not the Best scallops I have had. The veal was well cooked, & flavorful, but I would still probably try something new next time we are in town. Course 2 Day 2: - *^ Tagliata di Manzo (12 oz. N.Y. Strip sliced, Arugula & fresh Tomato Salad, roasted Potatoes, Red Wine Sauce) - *^Carre' di Agnello (Roasted Rack of Lamb, Garlic sauteed Fresh Mushrooms, Mashed Potatoes ,Port Wine Demi Glaze) The steak was well seasoned and perfectly cooked. The lamb was honestly the worst I had ever tried. It was over cooked and seasoned strangely. I would not over again. Course 3 Day 1: - flourless Chocolate cake - tiramisu My mouth is watering just thinking about that cake! -Order the Carmel gelato to go on top. So good! - the cane was warm, moist, and had tremendous flavor! The tiramisu was great. It was a true tiramisu. Well made... but had nothing on the cake! Course 3 Day 2: - flourless chocolate cake - cannolis We should have just gotten two chocolate cakes. Lol. But they were delicious and I don't have a single bad thing to say about them.

I know there are a few locations but we planned to stop at this location specifically during a last min birthday staycation (but not *on* my brthday) If you look online this routinly is on lists of date night and good group dining spots and there will inevitably be a ton of people in the comments complaining about it being "mid" or "basic" but that wasn't our experience at all. We had a great experience here. We initially booked for the first time of our staycation but called last min to push back a few days as I wasn't feeling very well. It was no issue at all and they changed our reservation without issue or complaints & wished me well. The space is really cool. MCM in design with a touch of California beach bungalow. We were seated in a back room with a view of the lake behind. It was a bit loud but most places are these days. I am deaf in one of my ears so one I told our server & she spoke up over the noise and it was a non-issue. Appreciated because that's not always the case. We ordered a glass of wine and the "Shirley After Dark" cocktail (I know it's a wine bar but I just felt like a cocktail) loved it. Would absolutely order it again. We ordered the house salad which was far from basic and delicious and fresh. Very light and decent size. My husband also aired the Cauliflower app which was massive. The hummus was delicious. I'm not a fan of cauliflower but he raved about it. We also split the Butchers Pizza and had them out the hot honey on the side. I can't do spice after destroying my stomach in college so they brought me a side of normal honey so I could hector full flavor profile within my dietary needs. We got to speaking with our server whose name I unfortunately can't remember (light blonde shoulder length hair if management reads this) & she was very knowledgeable about the wine selection. We're not white wine drinkers but the FL heat is a little too much for a glass of red most days so we're trying to get into it. She had 3 recommendations and brought me all three to taste. Unfortunatly I enjoyed was sold out by the time we ordered it (which at the height of tourist summer isn't beyond the realm of reasonability) We then ordered the affogato and olive oil cake. Both were delicious. It was my husband's first time trying an affogato and it has since become a favorite of his. It was mentioned in passing while chatting that we were in a last min staycation as it was my birthday week and we didn't plan anything in advance and made it clear it was not my birthday but she still comped my cocktail and the olive oil cake and wrote a lighthearted "sorry we were out of the wine" on our receipt. Which was a genuinely nice & unexpected gesture. The entire meal was quite affordable even before anything got comped compared with other options of the same caliber in the area. Portons are quite large as well. While I don't love communal tables typically, almost no one was seated at the same table and if they were it was quite far apart (see photos). I can see that being bothersome on a busy night but we were there on a summer night (busy enough to run out of a wine) so I can't imagine it being typically worse than that So I say again, I don't understand what people don't like about this place. We'll be back.

They have seating indoors and outdoors. Their outdoor patio area is charming and adorned with umbrellas, and the fountain just adds a special touch, as well as masks the typical street sounds of passing cars and passersby. In the cooler months, the patio is just a vibe! The interior is just as charming with "French-inspired" influences, lovely lighting & decor that ties in the European escape this wine bar beautifully embodies. On my first visit, we tried to sit outdoors, but the Florida heat (& bees) had other plans for us. So, we transitioned inside and sat at their bar area. We were immediately greeted by the kindest servers who guided us on their menu selections. My friend and I, with similar wine tastes (we both love our wines DRY like DESERT), both opted for a glass of rosé and YUM! We followed it up with a white selection recommended by our server, and we enjoyed it immensely. Truly ten, ten, tens across the board! We did not eat (which, in all honesty, is okay with me). Typically, on all my visits, I usually cap around two glasses of wine, and it's reasonable. They are not the cheapest spot, especially if you add food to your tab, but for the quality, it is worth it (to me as it relates to the wine selection), as I haven't really had a terrible glass of wine there. Maybe on my next visit, I'll try more of their food menu. Beyond that, Lorelei has been a great addition to the Mills 50 District! I am looking forward to how they will grow with the community!

They were slowing down pretty early, which could be expected for a hot summer evening in Orlando.

The owner is absolutely amazing and accommodating. The inside is almost like a store and a classy bar area. I love that they have everything so organized and beautifully displayed. It is unbelievable how this space is in this strip mall. I don't think they got enough praise for how amazing it is! I love all of the details inside and the fabulous quotes on the wall! We got some alcohol from here for my daughter's birthday party and it was wonderful service! The owner, Bobby, is so kind and extremely helpful. If you need any alcohol or want to get something special for a special occasion, here is the place to go! They are also online, which is a huge advantage if you are not in the area. The prices are fair and he doesn't gouge just because it is in the "tourist area" like some alcohol stores do. Also if you have any special requests, he will try to see if he can get them for you. The place is immaculate and the staff is wonderful. Everything is separated according to type of drink and everything is kept fully stocked. Go there for any and all of your needs, you will not regret it!
