We recently purchased two e-bikes (Mokwheel Basalt ST 2), and the entire process was outstanding from start to finish. The customer service was truly some of the best we've ever experienced, and Toby was incredible. She was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely passionate about helping us find the right bikes. She took the time to answer every question we had and clearly knew everything there is to know about e-bikes. What really stood out was how much she cared about making sure we got the perfect bikes for our needs. She encouraged us to take a test ride and walked us through all the features so we felt completely confident in our decision. There was never any pressure -- just great guidance and expertise. We ended up with two Mokwheel Basalt ST 2 bikes, and we absolutely love them. The whole experience was fun, informative, and seamless. Honestly, the experience was so great that every time we go back to Pismo Beach, we'll want to stop in and say hi. That's the kind of impression they made on us. If you're thinking about renting or buying an e-bike in Pismo Beach, this is the place to go. Amazing service, great people, and an all-around great experience. Highly recommend!

The guy absolutely kills it every time--whether it's a simple tire change or a full tune-up, I always leave feeling like I'm riding a brand-new bike. Danny's attention to detail, speed, and overall knowledge of bikes is unmatched. Plus, he's just a solid dude--friendly, professional, and clearly passionate about what he does. I've thrown some last-minute requests his way and he's always come through. If you want your ride in top shape and to feel like your bike's in the best hands in town, ask for Danny. The whole shop is great, but he's the real MVP.

Might as well call them Santa Claus, because they literally made Christmas happen for us…read more Tragically while driving 400+ miles to spend the holiday with family in torrential downpour, the wheels of our son's new SE bike fell off the roof rack along the 101. Seeing as it's Christmas Eve, we were beyond devastated and also panicked as finding a replacement wouldn't be easy in such a time crunch. Still en route to our final destination, with the recipient in the car with us...they quite literally bent over backwards to not only give us an incredible deal on the bike we had 1/2 of on top of our car...they helped camouflage the item so our kids wouldn't suspect what was on top of Santa's sleigh...aka our car. The bike was obviously assembled, they then dis-assembled it, wrapped it in several bags and sandwiched it between cardboard to ensure the surprise wouldn't be revealed until Christmas morning. They were so understanding, gracious and talk about paying it forward and having the Christmas spirit. We will always return for our bike needs. I mean, and let's be honest. Saved my husband as he was receiving death glares from me for the previous 80 miles as I promptly told him he ruined Christmas. There are plenty of good bike shops with great bikes, but very few are filled with such incredible people inside. Go visit them, you won't be sorry. Thank you Main Street Cycles!!!!!!!

Our guide, Tony, helped us plan a route to fit our schedule and abilities. He was a great guide; friendly, flexible, knowledgeable, and focused on making sure we had a nice time. Great price point for all that is included (tour, nice bike and helmet rentals, water bottle to keep, lunch, wine...). Thanks again to the whole team for a memorable day! PS Please note the building used to be in Santa Ynez, but they relocated to Solvang. It's also a bike store, so you can store up on gear or snacks before or after your ride if you'd like.

The website was easy to use and Doug, the tour manager, immediately sent back a confirmation. On the day of our tour, Doug met us in the morning at Dr. J's bike shop. He helped us with bikes and helmets. They provided each of us with a blue water bottle. The whole process took about 30 minutes (more because we were slow not them). Chris gave us some final instructions, took our pictures and then we were off. We rode up to Neverland, did Olive oil tasting and visited a lavender farm. Olive oil tasting was fun and was a way to replenish after biking in the morning. The lavender farm we could have done without. I wish there was a guided tour of the place. Other than that, the lavender farm felt like an overpriced store. Then we went to a winery where a beautiful lunch was set up complete with local fruits a day dessert from a local bakery. There was music and wine and a beautiful view of the winery. If you're looking for a great experience this is it. Our guide Chris was great! He kept an close eye on us and was very encouraging when we have trouble going up the small hill. He was knowledgeable and didn't rush us. He made sure we had a great experience and we did! We'll definitely be back!
