Really cute and cozy, tiny space so just know it will likely feel loud…read more Lychee martini and carajillo were really really good Ravioli was delicious Stuffed leeks were awesome Garlic noodles were overhyped, too garlicky for me. BUT our waiter recommended pouring the sauce from the stuffed leeks in the noodles, and that made them amazing. Don't get the duck- it was severely overcooked, tough, didn't want to eat it. The carrots were really good, it's a small serving The chocolate cake was the best cake I've ever had. For a restaurant at this level of hype and price, customer service is a key component. When we walked in, our waiter welcomed us quickly, he took time to talk through the menu, give his suggestions, and I thought we were going to have that special experience. We rarely saw him again the rest of the night. Random very nice people would bring us our items and let us ask for another drink, but our waiter seemed to be actively avoiding looking our way, wasn't the one to check us out, or say thanks and goodbye. It was just odd, I think maybe he was overworked. A relationship with the waiter is a nice thread to tie a dinner into a real experience from start to finish, just a thought. We'd definitely go back and try different things

Easily one of, if not my new favorite restaurant in Dallas…read more We celebrated my birthday here a few weeks ago and could not have had a better experience. We were seated at the bar, where a branded 'Happy Birthday' sign waited. From there, the bartender, Gabe, gave us a full rundown of the menu and offered suggestions for us. He could not have been more helpful or knowledgeable about each dish. He truly made the night feel special and even sent out two appetizers so that we got to try the dishes that he liked. Also, when we got were finishing up our meal and ordered the chocolate cake, there was a candle in it and he took our picture with a Polaroid camera to help commemorate the occasion. A small gesture that went a long way. The first dish that we got was the Kimchi and Gruyère rice fritters, which were one of the dishes that Gabe sent out and a great start to the night. From there, we ordered the stuffed leeks and the dauphine ravioli, both of which were fantastic and the highlights of the meal. Both must-order dishes. We opted for the branzino as our entree, and Gabe sent out a side of rice which paired with the fish perfectly. The only surprising miss for our meal was the garlic noodles, just felt a bit one dimensional. The chocolate cake was fantastic and a great way to end the meal. Overall will absolutely be back; we have talked a few times about what we will order the next time we visit.

This time, I got the Phorrito and the Angry pho with brisket, along with a horchata. The horchata was delicious and refreshing, it had a lot of cinnamon flavor but I wish the drink could be more creamy. The phorrito was great and I love the broth they gave on the side. I think it's a bit more concentrated than the regular broth they use for pho. The pho itself was good, it's not your traditional Viet pho you get outside, it's more of a fusion pho where the broth isn't clear at all. If you're coming here for the first time, I would recommend trying out the platters so that you could try out more food all at once!

After reviewing their very diverse menu options I landed at. The Angry Pho Birria Platter which I shared with my sister. The Birria was very flavorful. The Tacos were my favorite. Personally I felt the sweetness of the bao buns conflicted with the savory profile of the Birria. The wings and Pho were great too but by the time I got to the Pho I was Birria'd out. The ambiance was nice and casual with many parties chatting and enjoying their time. Staff checked in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. The only thing I will note is that they started putting chairs on tables about ten minutes before their closing time. I guess every place has their own rules, and we had no intentions of keeping them past their closing time, but it did feel as though we were being rushed out. Aside from that small aspect we had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed everything on our trays.
