Since the office isn't open on weekends and doesn't accept new patients after 3:00 PM, I explained that the earliest I could realistically get him there would be around 3:30-4:00 PM. I was simply hoping there might be some flexibility or another option. Instead, I was told they were "unwilling to help in any way," that these were strict policies, and that we would need to "find another doctor." While I understand policies exist for a reason, hearing that from a healthcare office was incredibly disheartening. It wasn't just the policy that was upsetting--it was the complete lack of empathy and willingness to even discuss possible solutions. Throughout the conversation, I felt dismissed and spoken over whenever I tried to explain our situation. As a longtime patient, it was discouraging to experience that level of customer service and compassion from an office I've trusted for years.
