I've been a patient here for a few years now, and I've always had great experiences with the care I've received. The providers are knowledgeable, and I've truly appreciated their services over the years. That said, I was very disappointed with my recent experience trying to schedule an appointment for my husband, who is currently in pain. I completely understand that offices have policies in place, and I respect that. However, my husband works during the day and, like many people, isn't able to leave work early. Since the office isn't open on weekends and doesn't accept new patients after 3:00 PM, I explained that the earliest I could realistically get him there would be around 3:30-4:00 PM. I was simply hoping there might be some flexibility or another option. Instead, I was told they were "unwilling to help in any way," that these were strict policies, and that we would need to "find another doctor." While I understand policies exist for a reason, hearing that from a healthcare office was incredibly disheartening. It wasn't just the policy that was upsetting--it was the complete lack of empathy and willingness to even discuss possible solutions. Throughout the conversation, I felt dismissed and spoken over whenever I tried to explain our situation. As a longtime patient, it was discouraging to experience that level of customer service and compassion from an office I've trusted for years. I still value the treatment I've personally received here, but I sincerely hope the office will consider approaching situations like these with more understanding. Healthcare is about helping people, and sometimes even a compassionate conversation or an effort to explore alternatives can make all the difference for someone who is already in pain. read more

Cannot Express How Amazing this place is. This spot is by far the most reasonably priced! The Doctor is very friendly & helps keep your mind off of your situation. Today was my first time trying this spot out & there was already 10 people waiting & ahead of me. Most were there for continued care. I will be back once a month for a routine adjustment. I love this Chiropractor's office. I've been to many many different chiropractors from the hoity toity ones in Newport to the ghetto ones in Westminster. This place meets ALL my needs. -Don't want to deal with insurance? It's cheap. $15 a pop (figuratively) -They accept cash and cards. -No up-sells. -Seriously nice and friendly front receptionists. -No appointment? No problem. -It's clean. They change the paper covers and I haven't seen any trash around even though they are super busy. -Don't want to wait 45 minutes for a 5 minute adjustment? This is THE place. -Roller massage beds? Yup, they have them here. Go go go if you want to have a no nonsense quick, inexpensive, friendly adjustment. I've never been there longer than 15 minutes, and that's with me gabbing with the front desk about my day! I'm heavily pregnant and they adjust me standing up. Dr. Black is AMAZING, and he checks my ankles for swelling as well. It's a no frills place, but hey, I just want to get adjusted and go. Let's get crack'n! What can I say? A quick adjustment for $10... Let me begin by saying that I hate chiropractors. They creep me out. If they mess up while adjusting you, they REALLY mess up. Grand Chiro is like a chiropractic drive-thru. After being on the vibrating bed that is suppose to relax you, they put you in a room. The chiropractor comes in and *pop*, *pop*, *pop* you are done. He truly holds your health and well being as the foundation, unlike doctors who give you a sales pitch and try to slam a 10 session package for $2,000 or just send you off with opiate medication. Since 2003 I've dealt with a very painful lumbar and sciatica issue from a surfing accident and then embarrassingly developed a tilt in my posture that was eventually fixed with Dr. Blacks help. I've pulled by back out many times and have had pain, on and off, for over 10 years. But I recently got into an accident and the pain this time was something different. I came here because they take walk-ins. This was my first time at with a chiropractor. Unfortunately, this was not a good experience. A business owner needs to know his client/customer/patient. Dr Black was so hyper that I had to fight to be able to get any words in. He didn't give me a chance to describe what happened, what kind of pain, location of pain, etc. There was no examination of my back and body. There was no chance to get to know his patient. Face time with the doctor was about 1 minute. He had no clue what his patient was feeling, but still proceeded to do a very generic back crack and neck crack. He then sent me on my way. read more

Omg thats all I have to say. It was my first time here and let me say the process is fast The dr adjusted me but only if you heard those cracks even you'd say yourself wow that was loud. Came in with cyatica pain that I've had for about 3 weeks and after the adjustment not only did the pain reduce, I feel like I can walk normal with a sense of relief. First visit during the week is 30 anything after that from what I was told is 20 every visit. I do recommend this doctor very kind individual such good energy he puts towards his patients. Super friendly front staff. The dr seems to be in his head. He doesn't let his clients talk. I came in with neck pain. He cracked my back 1 time and had me sit up. Had me follow his finger with my face. Looking up, down, right, left. And then said you'll be fine in 2-3 days.... just sleep early that will help. He saw me max for 1 minute. Super disappointed. That cost me $30 and he still had the audacity to say come back in 2 days and it will only be $20 and I'll adjust your neck read more

I use to go to another Dr, in Newport Beach and pay alot more for the same services. I have found Patrick to be as good if not better?Sure he does not not have the time for all the pampering or TLC as the other reviewer mentioned, but why are we here? to get adjusted or talk? I find both brothers very charming and polite and great guys for even providing this service for 10.00! I have always had my needs met and then some. I have been using chiropractic services for more than 2 decades. I used to go to a chiropractor in Costa Mesa for more than 10 years. The first year for treatment, the cost was by the thousands of dollars and at the end of the year I accumulated about 20 visits. Then I kept going for maintenance. He's great but the cost was killing me, the last time I paid $80 for a regular adjustment. Because my condition is not curable, it is congenital I need an adjustment once in a while. I'd be happy if I get one every month or at least 6 times a year to stay in top shape. Since I found grand chiropractic a few years back I CAN do that without going bankrupt hehe They get the job done at a VERY reasonable price and I don't mind driving from LA when I have a chance. If you want the white glove treatment, to get pampered in a fancy office and give away a good chunk of your hard earned money to feel good then this is not your place. Newport, Hollywood or Beverly Hills have plenty of those places. This is a nice, clean, well kept place with a very friendly staff and the doctors are awesome. Oh, and they all are bilingual. This place was great! I had hurt my back lifting at the gym to a point where I couldn't run without discomfort. Originally I thought it was a muscle issue and went to a massage therapist, but that didn't do anything for me so I made an appointment here. I came in, laid in the roller bed, then proceeded to the next room to see the doctor. Within 20mins and lots of cracks, I felt amazing. My back pain was almost gone. The doctor was very informative and explained every step of the procedure. He even minimized discomfort wherever he could while he contorted my body to prepare me for each specific crack. I somehow tweeked my left lower back when trying to tie my shoe, so i was in some pain. So decided to check this place out since a family member recommended it. Experience was awesome. Dr. Black was extremely personable and was very knowledgeable. He did some chiropractic stretches on me and told me it was nothing super major. And i must say that by the time i got home i was feeling a ton better than when i first arrived to his office. He recommended i come back a second time if i felt i needed it.
