I had heard good things about this place and was excited to try it...unfortunately I left disappointed and underwhelmed. They were fairly busy on a Tuesday night and the line did move quickly, which I appreciate. However, the girl who took our order was a bit rude and they also do not offer samples so that in part accounts for the faster prep time. They have hard scoop ice creams and vanilla and chocolate soft serve, as well as a special flavor that rotates. They had peanut butter soft serve when I went which is my favorite so I was pumped. I ordered a peanut butter soft serve in a cup with some marshmallow topping and the peanut butter was honestly gross. It did not taste like peanut butter at all, the texture was not like normal soft serve, and it left a weird aftertaste. The marshmallow topping wasn't great either. My husband ordered a double scoop of hard ice cream in a cone and did not particularly enjoy it either...his cone was crumbling and basically falling apart as he tried to eat it. They also charge a flat .30 fee for the use of a credit card, no matter what you order. Maybe it was an off night or something but we were unimpressed. However, Bidingers is like a Wadsworth staple, and i am SO glad to see it's still around and still (almost) as good as ever! i'm silly and nearly always go for the special twist, it's a thing for me... this year, i've been so many times where there just isn't a special twist? Great ice cream at great prices. I tried to call one rainy day to make sure they were open and only got a recording. We decided to Drive over to check. They were open. I asked the staff member who waited on me about it and she said they are not allowed to answer the phone. That seems a little strange for days like the one we were there. If you live in Wadsworth then you frequent Bid's at least once a week. In the evening the lines are long, but they get you your ice cream quick. There is always a new flavor to try and if you can't find anything that fits your tastebuds from their LARGE menu, you are sick in the head. Cool factor -- the first day they open for the season, if you bring a banana they will make you a banana split. Sadly, they do close for the fall and winter. Lucky for me I live a block away so I take advantage of their open season as much as I can. Snag an ice cream and head on over to one of the many parks in Wadsworth. read more

Absolutely disrespectful people and rude . infant baby was stung by a bee and was screaming crying when parents asked workers for some ice while standing in line and they refused and said we can't not give anything away while a medical episode was taking place . i have never seen something so scary and was there fault the bees nest was in there building . I picked Oreo peanut butter ice cream... and there was not a hint of peanut butter flavor... but it was a tannish color which for some reason was very disturbing to me... like... why was it brown if it didn't taste like peanut butter? I've been coming here as far back as I can remember. For the longest time this was the only ice cream joint in town. You get a lot for the small price you pay. Their Flurries are awesome! Try mixing more than one topping in your Flurry. This place can get busy really fast on hot days or if there was a baseball game just down the road. read more

We've been eating Bidinger's ice cream for thirty years. It still tastes great BUT the flurry, my favorite is way too expensive for what you get. When it was $1.60 or so, the girls FILLED the cup with ice cream. Lately, and last night in particular, not so much. There was over an inch from the top of the cup to the ice cream. (I got it to go so I discovered this at home. My mistake.) Having said that, the girls should look at the cup before they hand it to the customer. Fill the cup! read more
