This place was a short drive out of Charlevoix. Really good pizza and we had a soft pretzel which was ok. Beer cheese is very beerish - if that's your thing - you'll be happy. A decent selection of local beer that they make. We tried all IPAs and they were decent. Giving this 4 stars because it was solid but not impressive. There was a large outdoor seating area that made it easy for a big family to sit but only sodas in the bottle so our 5 kids didn't have a huge selection. read more

Eh. We called to make sure dogs were allowed and were told YES and there were fires going to stay warm outside in the 35* weather. Upon arrival, the bartender was short with us, not very friendly, and there was one fire going and no heaters like the pictures online. My husband ordered the kolsch, which he enjoyed, and I had the grapefruit seltzer which was not very good. The pizza was fantastic! Such a fun brewery set upon in a beautiful location! We visited on the recommendation of another establishment and had to try their coconut Porter, which was fantastic! The day was rainy, but that didn't stop us from playing some cornhole and starting a fire in their fire pit. Everything we tried was delicious and the pizza is coming out of the oven smelled amazing. Service was quick and attentive and very friendly. They also have a trailhead adjacent to the property. If you are in the mood to walk off some of the spoils of the day. read more

What a great atmosphere. There's nothing like sitting outside on a warm summer night, listening to someone strum the guitar and sing familiar songs, while children dance with their families on the lawn and friends and family members chat over a beverage and pizza at a picnic table with a lovely view of Lake Michigan. Lines for the women's bathroom can be quite long when the front lawn fills up on these nights, so portable toilets are set up behind the stage in the grass parking lot. The pizza is great, as is the beer selection (there are also NA choices), and everything is served with a smile. You can't go wrong! read more

The pizza was fine. The bartender was super nice and you could tell that the customers loved their interactions with her. My real issue was with the pizza "hut" staff. As we were leaving, my dad leaned in and said "thanks, the pizza was great" and the reply he received was "like we give a sh*t". The pizza was not good enough to deal with that and want to return. Has flights for beer, cider, and wine. Cool atmosphere! Brewery is located in the larger house and restaurant is in the smaller house off from the larger house. No waiters/waitresses - order drinks at the bar and order food at the takeout window. Nice outside area with picnic tables, fire pits, corn hole, sand box for the kids, and nature trail. Live music on certain nights. Limited menu but the homemade pretzels and pizza were delicious - even offers a gluten free crust! Only negative (which really wasn't a negative) is I would've preferred more Adirondack chairs for sitting. The view was very nice - overlooking farmlands and water off in the distance. My wife and I travel via motorcycle to Michigan every year. We usually don't do repeat visits to establishments as a rule when we travel, but this is one of the few breweries we will return to. In fact, we are traveling with a group this year in July and are aiming to stop here with them. The location is unique, as is the building setup. The beer itself is fantastic as is the service. A new brewery to the area. The bar is inside a converted house. It has the bar and a couple of tables. The rest of the tables are outside. They serve Beer, Wine, and Cider. I ordered the Everything Nice, a hard cider with Cinnamon and brown sugar. A 10 oz pour was $5 plus tax. It was delicious. One of the best hard ciders I've had. My Aunt order a Cherry Cider. She liked it, but not the service. When I ordered I ordered from a guy that was pleasant and efficient. My Aunt tried ordering from two ladies that were ignoring everything and talking and had an attitude when she did get their attention. Overall a hard review to rate. I guess I'll go with a 4 star review. However would I return? No, my Aunt stated she doesn't want to go there again and I have to agree, service is important. read more

This place was a great time. Pup-friendly exterior with plenty of seating. Nice service inside and a small assortment of chips and such to grab with your drinks. Built-in pizza spot putting out delish pies as well. Gorgeous little setting with cornhole boards and lots of people hanging out and playing. The ciders here are some of the best in the region. WE LOVED this brewery. Wow! What a great spot and location to enjoy some brews on the property overlooking the lake. We made it to this brewery after our trip from Beaver Island. It was pretty busy inside so we decided to grab our beers and head outside. We found the "cornhole" area and had a blast playing. I especially enjoyed this game, because for once, I was winning!!!! Go me! They have some fantastic beers and I highly suggest a trip this brewery. They are in the passport and have the cutest tagabrew. We both have a fondness for owls. One thing we found particularly interesting about this place, the mug club members have AWESOME porcelain mugs made with their faces! We were so impressed by these mugs. We wanted to become members simply for the mug! haha This place is so cool; don't forget to check out the adjacent buildings on the property with art and sculptures for purchase. read more

After a little discussion, the staff offered the key for the wood pile for the campfire we were sitting at. Wine, cider, beer, & snacks. 2 bathrooms.
